"So what now? We have her captured" Levi said, landing on the tree branch where commander Erwin was.

"We reveal whoever is in there, you did a great job by the wau" Commander Erwin raised his hands calling forth one of his soldiers.

"That shouldn't belong to me, it belongs to those soldiers who lost their lives for this mission's success" Levi uttered

The soldier landed on the branch, "Sir?" He saluted.

"She's using her hands to cover her nape, I'm pretty sure she has it figured out now, I want artillery cannons aimed at her arm, keep firing still she can't keep them up anymore, "Commander Erwin said, looking at the female titan from where he stood.

Back outside the forest, where the cadets stood their ground guarding the entrance so no titan could enter.

The cadets were surrounded by titans, but they were on the tree so the titan couldn't get to them, their job was simply to keep the titans outside.

Although with every passing seconds the titan started to slowly figure out how to climb the trees.

"Damn, look at this guy" Jean said, looking at the titan that was climbing the tress slowly, trying to get to them, "giving him a few days and he'll be building a bird house".

"This is good, it shows they can learn and adapt, pretty scary when you stop and think about it" Armin uttered.

"Hey, Armin.." Jean said, as he looked inside the forest a thought suddenly occurred to him.

"Hmmm?.."

"I think I figured out why they told us to stand guard here, it's because they want to capture the female titan"

"What?"

"Think about it, there's no other explanation, she could be like the armored or colossal".

"I see your point.." Armin took a deep breath, "I believe the enemy is in our midst and commander Erwin was trying to smoke them out, that would explain why he told no one about the plan".

"But was it worth it... losing so many live just so he could play bait" Jean frowned.

"Seriously… I get not telling you, but you guys, I'd think you'd earn a little trust, come on your friend just died, don't act like you don't.." Eren feeling angered and confused kept on lashing out at them

"Shut up, you think we are not? Of course, we are, we just watch that freak of a death storm kill Petra, hell for we don't even know if it was worth it" Jinn yelled, "If he didn't tell us then I'm sure he had his reasons."

"The kid might be right, Captain Levi didn't trust us enough to tell us, but… I'm sure if he had the option he would have, commander Erwin is the one in charge" Jinn said.

"I see… I'm sorry I shouted" Eren uttered.

"Live long enough and you'll know exactly why we put our trust in the Captain".

Ava landed on Ayato's titan's shoulder, "Great job Shiki, you were able to bring the female titan right into the open" She smiled, putting her blades back in the ODM gear.

"No this would have happened, with or without my help," Ayato said to himself, still inside his titan, "All I did was include myself in the equation, I couldn't even those soldiers that died because of my incompetence, but regardless, I know what happens next I just have to make sure I stop it, is she does plan on continuing this, I'll end it right then and there".

Levi was standing on top of the female titan, he was so frustrated and angry about losing his soldier that he could wait to see the person inside the titan.

"Hey! Can you hear me in there? I hope you are not the crying type because… well… I have a lot in store for you" Levi said, drawing his blade slowly.

"Once you're out, I'll slice off those limbs of yours, but it's fine, right? They'll grow back, you love killing humans, I love killing titan, pretty convenient don't you think?" Levi was about to use his blade to stab her head when he suddenly felt something charging toward him.

Following his instinct, he used his ODM gear to move from the titan that leaped into the air and landed on the female titan.

"What the? titans?"Levi, shocked by what he saw, pulled back and headed straight for Erwin, "The hell is going on?" Levi asked.

More and more titans kept pouring in, they didn't focus on the soldiers instead they went for the female titan eating her one by one.

"I knew this was going to happen" Ayato came out of his titan, "Commander Erwin, you have to tell them to retreat" Ayato yelled.

"Retreat? Like hell we are, we didn't lose good soldiers just to cut tail and run" Levi yelled, pulling out his blade, "If it's that I have to carve up everything titan down there, so be it, but whoever is in there is not playing this game to win against me"

"Please Captain Levi, I know you're angry but think about this logically, we can't lose good soldiers anymore, whoever is in there did that to escape, meaning she is either planning to run away or.." Ayato got interrupted.

"She hasn't given up yet, and still wants to get her hands on you guys… All soldiers retreat." Commander Erwin yelled, taking his gun and firing the blue flare from the retreat.

Every soldier that saw the signal felt so relieved that the reckon mission was over.

"Retreat? I guess we're done here" Armin uttered.

"it's about damn time" Jinn said, using his Odm gear to leave the tree.

Mikasa saw the blue flare, "Retreat? I don't like this" She looked inside the forest and sought to go in and check on Ayato.

"Mikasa! Come on" Sasha yelled as she got on top of her horse waving high at Mikasa.

Mikasa pulled her blades back and jumped down from the tree, "I'm coming".

Commander Erwin and the rest that were left out of the participants for the reckoning mission started retreating back to the wall.

Ayato got back in his titan and grabbed Eren from the ground, "Okay, I'll follow the Levi squad that was where she attacked." That was where she attacked.

Ava and Eren stood on his shoulder and she began running through the forest.

"I can't believe we lost Petra" Jinn said, he was on the brink of breaking down and crying.

Gunther yelled, feeling frustrated, "After that, after all that we have nothing to show for it, damn it".

"How many soldiers did we lose for this to take place" Eren thought to himself

A scout wearing a hood over the face suddenly came out of nowhere joining the Levi squad.

Jinn spotted her and mistook her for captain Levi since he couldn't see the person's face, "Captain Levi?.. wait you're not..".

In the blink of an eye, the scout propelled towards jinn, rotating in the air and aiming the blade at Jinn.

The scout was too fast for Jinn to be able to react, he was so close to having his head chopped off if not for Ayato that interfered.

Ayato whooshed the front aiming his punch at her, although the scout was able to dodge it that was when Ava came in.

Using her blade Ava charged passed Ayato and headed straight for the scout, "You've got some nerve, don't you think for a second you're leaving here with those limbs of yours".

The scout made a sharp stop looking to throw Ava off but instead, Ava threw her blade in the air before kicking it and aiming it at the scout.

The blade stabbed the scout in the leg which made her lose balance and fall back first to the ground.

"Perfect, she's mine" Ava was about to go charging in there when suddenly there was a massive lightning strike where the scout fell and the female titan appeared.
