Arc 1: |Chapter 3 - Impostor -part 1|

After Luke remembered the original owner's memories, his disgust for the fl and ml soared.

As with all the fl and ml he has already seen, this two were the same.

Luke closed his eyes for a moment then opened them again.

His voice cooled, and his eyes turned indifferent.

"System, what is the task."

System Uno blinked his eyes and hurriedly said:

X Tasks(required)

1). Save the family business

2). Prevent Varion from becoming the heir of Fraunces Conglomerate

3). injustice must be solved, as the saying goes; a tooth for a tooth, an eye for an eye.

Side task(optional): Fix the plot (find and help the rightful heaven's darlings regain their position and destroy the false story obscuring the real story.) X

Those are the tasks host!|

When Luke saw the tasks, he asked the system, "I know that you've already said about the secondary task, but I'm curious about something..." Luke looks at the system in the form of a cub black panther.

|What it is, host?|

"Why it's that the task of fixing the plot is optional and not primary? I mean, this must have been the main task since the seat of the darling of heavens (a.k.a., protagonist) is more important, but right now, I can see that settling the grievances of the original owner is more critical than the darling of heavens. Why is that?"

|Sorry host, Uno can't give you a definite answer. Uno can only say these souls you're helping are special.

If the host wants to know, you must at least finish a certain number of g-missions because only like that I will be able to give you some of the answers I know.| System Uno said cautiously and a little tense. It rolled its tail in between its legs, seeming uncomfortable about the query Luke made.

Seeing the uncomfortable system Uno was, Luke chose not to inquire more.

"Give me the original plot!" Luke said.

System Uno then asked, surprised, |Is the host going to do the additional task? That is not necessary is just optional. The host doesn't need to do it!|

"Yeah, I'll go and do the side mission. Besides, there must be a good reward for completing this task as well, I presume, right?"

|Yes, as the host said, there is a good reward for completing the additional task.

But, is the host sure?]

At this question, Luke gave an indifferent answer, "Yes, I'm sure, and besides, if I don't restore the plot, the main task will be impossible to do." He stands up and walks to the bathroom.

Hearing its host's answer, system Uno was startled not because of the response but to its host's indifferent tone. This indifference seemed as if this task was nothing for its host. Maybe its host thought this task was too easy. The system stood still without moving, looking at Luke.

Conscious of the system's gaze, Luke who was walking to the bathroom turned around and looked at the system that was staring at him with surprised eyes. Then he spoke, "Don't look at me like that. This mission is easier than you thought, and hurry send me the second plot." in an indifferent tone.

As he finished speaking, he entered the bathroom door and started to bathe. It took about an hour to finish bathing, and while bathing, he received the second plot data and checked it. When he exited the bathroom with a robe on him, he went to bed and sat down.

Because he is still in a hotel, Luke has no choice but to buy online new clothes to wear.

After buying clothes, he asked the system to check on his parent's business.

After two hours, there was a knock on the door; he stood up and went to open the door to pick up the clothes bought online. He knew that was the clothes delivered because he hadn't called for service to the room to bring food, nor any of his acquaintances were aware of him staying in this hotel, so he opened the with leisure.

After picking up the clothes, he closed the door and returned to the bedroom. After having the clothes, he quickly dressed in them. Then suddenly, he recalled the man that helped him the night before.

To be honest, he really was surprised because since he met that man he finally could see, not just in black and white but all color of the world seems to have appeared.

He, a person who never knew what color looked like, can finally see the colors of the world. Yes, he had Achromatic Vision (A.K.A. COLOR BLINDNESS), and the only colors he ever was able to see were black and white.

He could see white as black and black as white, his world always was white and black and never able to see other colors. But when he met that man yesterday, it was as if all kinds of lights and colors started to appear, colors he had never seen but with the man's appearance, they started to appear, like he(the man) was someone who was destined to change his world.

He wanted to know who the man was so he asked system Uno.

"System, can you collect that man's information? I want to know who he is. I must return this debt."

System Uno hearing its host asking this question, replied, |Uno will try to find out. Just wait a moment, host!|

"Hmm." Nodded Luke to the system's response, then he sat on the bedside table fiddling with the things on it.

He was quietly seeing the different colors, immersed to know, how was he now able to see colors, distinguish colors.

On the bedside table was a note, and some pills were at the side. The letter said, 'Medicine.' And then a string of numbers was at the back of the note. The letters were beautiful and refined, with just one word written one would be able to know that the person is a refined and noble person who doesn't talk much.

After he finished reading it, he looked at the system and asked, "Have you checked?"

|Host, Uno has, here is the information!| Said system Uno and sent Luke the data about the man's data.

Luke went through the information and was surprised.

The man who helped him was no other than the genuine male lead, and who was the authentic male lead of the world? Well, that was none other than Athan. Luke was surprised because of this. The original plot depicted Athan as someone with a high IQ, indifferent to the bones, and an influential person who avoided the schemes effortlessly against him. But in the story obscuring the original story, he fell on Varion and Adira's schemes.

It made him wonder as to why he fell so effortlessly. Luke was about to ask the system to check for more when his phone suddenly rang.

He took the phone and saw who it was. Looking at who it was, he answered the phone, "What happened?"

The caller, hearing Luke, spoke, ``Luke, it's me, Varion, where are you? Yesterday I heard you didn't come back home. Why didn't you come back?``

"I'm in a hotel; I didn't go back because I felt unwell and went to the hospital, then because it was late, I stayed in a hotel. You don't have to call, and I was about to go back, so don't call again. I'll see you when I return. We need to talk." Said Luke and then hung up the call.

He then looked at the system and asked, "can you search for the best lawyer this country has? I want to divorce."

System Uno looked at its host, then nodded and looked for the best lawyer. When he found a good lawyer, he gave the information to the host. |This country's best lawyer is Delian Moiren Iphir, an orphan since he was ten years old.

Before becoming an orphan, he had a family of four, all dead, no one alive, and he witnessed their murder during their family vacation.

The murderer was a politician close to their family and friend of his father. Because he was too small and the politician thought he(Delian) was asleep when the murder occurred and witnessed nothing, the politician sent him abroad, telling him that it was better to be far away to forget that night. But the politician didn't know that Delian witnessed everything and just pretended to sleep.

Delian also heard the politician say that there was no way that people would know that he was the murderer since every piece of evidence ceased to exist. But he also heard that there were some important files that his father had and that the politician wanted, but he couldn't find the files. He heard the politician say that those files had substantial incriminatory evidence, but he couldn't hear about what.

After going abroad, Delian vowed to take revenge, but until now, he hadn't found anything that could put the politician in jail, also the politician seems to be quite influential, and he couldn't do anything because of the politician's high position.

Aside from the politician's case that he hasn't solved yet, he is well known for solving divorce cases.

The host doesn't have to worry. He isn't a corrupt lawyer.|

When Luke heard the information, a plan formed in his mind, and he asked, "System, you said that he doesn't have evidence, right?"

|Yes, host!| answered the system.

"Now, answer me another question. Who is the politician?" Luke asked inquisitively.

|It's the politician Uldera...| said the system, a little puzzled as to why the host was asking these questions when he suddenly got enlightenment, its eyes opened wide|!!!|

When Luke saw the system become enlightened, he said, "Now do you know how many corrupted officials are there that work with the fake ml?"

|Three, host! There are only three politicians who work with the fake ml, and one of them is Uldera!!!| Said the system rapidly.

"Yeah! Uldera is one of the corrupted officials, according to the original owner's memory. The original owner witnessed their calls when imprisoned by the fake ml. Though he didn't know that he was also being schemed on because he was isolated, the original owner knew each of their crimes after the fake ml confined him except for the children's 'accident.' It's a pity that the original owner didn't know Delian. He would have been of great help. Now say me, what was this Delian's end in the original and fake plotlines?"

The system immediately answered, |Let me see host! ...., *ding* In the original plotline, he succeeds in capturing the politician and revealing his crimes to the world. In the fake plotline, he dies in prison when the police find evidence of rape, drug, and murder in his apartment. He dies during a prison riot.|

"I see. Then do the following..." While talking, he took system Uno and left the suite.

No one could notice system Uno, as it was just visible to the host. Only the host can allow let system Uno to become visible or not to all people.

Luke headed to the lobby, where he called for a taxicab, leaving the hotel.

On the other side, just after Luke hung to Varion's call.

Varion was in the mansion's office. In the office, the noise of things tossed & broken can be heard. Varion threw everything he found in the office on the floor. He was furious & as he threw them, he yelled, "How dare he!!!"

He was yelling, but as he was about to throw another object, his phone rang the tone was indistinct. He took the phone and answered, "Ady(Adira) what happened?"

Adira, at the other end of the call, said, ``Nothing, I just wanted to know, is there any news? Do you know where is he?`` The 'he' she was referring to was Luke.

"I called him, but just as he answered, he hung up. He say he was in a hotel but didn't convey what hotel he was in, and solely said he was okay. He also said that he went to a hospital first before heading to the hotel but just as he finished speaking he immediately hung up."

``Then what do we do now? If he hung up, does it means he suspects you're responsible?`` She said while gritting her teeth.

"Mmm. More probably! Did Jonah tell you who was the person who helped him(Luke)?" His voice sounded calm, but there was also a small trembling in his voice as if worried about who have been who helped Luke escape.

``No, he didn't say, but he said that it was better to halt our plans for now. Jonah said it was dangerous to continue for a while. At least we have to wait. Hasn't he gone to you?`` Said Adira, a little puzzled as to why Jonah told her this.

"No, he hasn't come, if he told you that, then that means that the person is someone important. I will contact you if he comes." He said, then hung up.

knock, knock...

After he hung up, he decided to call Jonah, but as he was about to make the call, he heard a knock on the office door.

"Who?" He asked.

"It's me, Mary boss."

"Come in...," Varion said. He looked at Mary, who entered the office, "What happened?" He asked.

"Your friend has come. He is now waiting downstairs right now." She said.

Mary was the housekeeper, a middle-aged woman hired recently after the previous fell from the stairs and died. This middle-aged woman has brown hair and dull gray eyes and was tan-colored skin.

After Mary left the office, Varion stood up and went to meet his guest, who, as expected, was Jonah.

Meanwhile, after Luke left the hotel, he first went to his family's company, Luna Company.

He was at the reception lobby at this moment. The guards were stopping him from entering.

"Sir, please wait! You can't come without an appointment. If you don't have an appointment, you must leave immediately." The receptionist was speaking, behind her were a few guards & some were stopping him from going further in.

"Why can't I go in? This is my family's company, this young master has all the rights to enter & no one is supposed to stop me. I have already reported my identity, and you still want to stop me?" Said Luke, his tone was cold as his eyes were sharps as he glared at the people stopping him from going in.

"As I have already said, sir, you mustn't fake your identity. Young master Luke arrived before you came. He is now about to meet with the CEO."

"What?" He said, turning toward the receptionist stopping him from going further, his eyes sharp and icy, "you said the 'real' young master has arrived." He said with an icy voice. The ambiance turned heavy that when the receptionist felt the atmosphere change and heard Luke speak, she became frightened.

"S-s-sir, please, u-understand us, w-we can't let you go fur...."

"Luke?!"

Just as the receptionist was talking, a lively and surprised voice rang at the company's entrance.
