Chapter 3

Draco's POV

The night before Harry and I decided to have Professor Snape drink our potion to get out of class

*Flashback*

"We should totally have Snape drink this" Harry says laughing

  I stared at him surprised  "Since when did you become this evil" he shrugs his shoulders before playfully hitting me on my shoulder "I guess your rubbing off on me Malfoy" I just stick my tongue out at him "yeah but how will we get him to drink it" I asked actually considering to do this.

He busted out in a fit of laughter before saying "we tell him it's a potion to make noses smaller"

  I tried to hold back a laugh but I couldn't I lost it

"maybe you should have been a Slytherin"  I said still laughing

He just looks at me with his beautiful green eyes "maybe" he says while smirking

*end of flashback*

"So boys what kind of potion do you have for us" Snape says not even taking his eyes off his clipboard.

  Idiot teacher if you look at it you can clearly see it's a confusion concoction, with it's thickish green/yellow color.

I stepped forward knowing he would believe me more then Potter "this potion will temporarily shrink your nose for 24 hours" I say pointing at the vial in Harry's hand "oh really" he says raising one eyebrow while snatching the confusion concoction out of Harry's grip "I'll just have to try it out myself, most likely Draco did all the work anyways" he said sneering at Potter.

We watch with wide eyes as he takes a drink

  Trying to hold back our laughter, as the rest of the class stares at us confused.

After about 10 seconds he stands up straight and looks around "what's going on" he shouts I once again step forward clearing my throat "you see Professor, you were just telling the class about how we all got A's so..... your letting us go to Hogsmeade for the day" I turn back to Harry giving him a smirk "ah ok I guess that makes sense... I'm going to go take a nap...ergh"

I grab Harry's hand pulling him with me as we run out of the classroom, I hear the rest of our class cheering.

     I don't really care who sees us, as we continue down the hall I feel his fingers intertwined with mine

I turn my head around slowing down to a walk once we left the building, to see a blushing Harry staring at our hands

We were far enough that I didn't think anybody else in our potions class would see us

I pull him forward a bit so we were now side by side, I could feel him loosen his grip on my hand meaning he was gonna let go but, I just gripped his hand tighter hoping he wouldn't want to let go.

I could feel him tense up before relaxing and tightening his grip again I look back ahead with a huge smirk on my face.

Wait maybe i'm taking this the wrong way do friends hold hands.... are we even friends!!!

Harry's POV

Bold move Harry i'm surprised he's not disgusted with you yet.

I try pulling my hand out from his, knowing he must be uncomfortable but, he just tighten his grip.... does that mean he wants to hold my hand, I take a deep breathe before tightening my grip... this felt nice

"Hey Malfoy where exactly are we going" I ask we never really hang out with each other because we're enemies, I mean not really anymore I think we're friends now

"Oh I don't really know... I just wanted to hangout with you I guess, I mean if you don't want to its ok" he trailed off "No" I practically shout "eh sorry I would love to hang out with you" I say flushed from embarrassment.

He smiles back at me squeezing my hand as we head towards the town

I turn towards him again as we walk "want to go to three broomsticks for some food" I asked unsure of his answer he continues to look forward while saying "yeah that would be nice" as his face went red

Then we walked the rest of the way in silence but not in an awkward silence it was pleasant in a way.

Harry and Draco's thoughts

D: IS THIS A DATE

H: I wonder what I should get

D: I don't think friends go on dates but I don't know

H: Ron and Hermione use to go on dates at Three Broomsticks .... MERLIN... DID I JUST ASK HIM ON A DATE TO THREE BROOMSTICKS

D: I need to socialize more I don't even know if this is a date or not I mean he did ask me to go out to eat with him

H: I mean I wouldn't mind a date but, he pry just thinks I'm being nice... he didn't say no though

Draco's POV

We had arrived at Three Broomsticks and sat down in a booth near the corner across from each other

"What do ya want young fellows" the waitress asks

Harry answers almost immediately he's pry been thinking about his order this whole time "I would like some Butterbeer and Cornish Pasties with a Garden salad" he said staring at the waitress as she turned towards me so did Potter.

We made eye contact and didn't break away once when I ordered "could I um have some Butterbeer and a small Rotisserie smoked chicken salad"

"Yup I will be back with your orders soon" she says staring between the both of us with a huge smile on her face

"So Harry are you sure your suppose to be a Gryffindor that plan was absolutely perfect" I said laughing while breaking eye contact

He starts laughing too before he stops and stares at me with a questioning look "Did you just call me Harry?" Shit "oh I'm sorry I didn't even realized I did.. I won't do it again" I frown glancing away

"No, please call me Harry" he said with a happy smile "oh, okay then will you call me Draco" I asked honesty expecting him to say no.

"Yeah of course" he answers back with no hesitation we're both grinning like crazy, as the waitress comes back with our order "here you go" she says placing the items in front of us.

I take a sip of my Butterbeer as she says "enjoy your date" and skips off

I spit my Butterbeer all over Harry who was just frozen staring in the direction the women had skipped off to

I tug Harry's arm "Get up we need to dry you off... also sorry" we walk to the bathroom and I make sure nobody else is in there, as I lock the door.

"Ok... take you shirt off so I can dry your shirt without burning you" He looked at me blushing but started to take his shirt off. "uh sorry for spitting my drink all over you" I say running my hands through my hair

"It's fine" he replies nervously while handing me his shirt "Terego" I said while holding my wand to Harry's shirt.

Maybe I should purposely burn it he looks.... pretty hot without one.  He must have worked out over the summer he overall looks bigger like he got a bit taller and he apparently has flat abs.... but I'm still taller.

I decided to break the silence "so a date huh" I said with the fakest laugh ever only an idiot would believe that laugh

Harry's POV

"So a date huh" he laughs

Well great there go's all of my confidence I look up at him as he stopped performing the spell for a moment and we just stare at each other I take a deep breathe "would it really be that bad.... if it was a date" I whisper I could feel the tears brimming my eyes.  He looks at me with shocked eyes.

Great I just ruined our relationship "n-no I was kinda hoping this was a date" he said with an obvious blush on his face as he looked down at his shoes

I walked up to him and hugged him "Then it's a date" he looked down at me in surprise "here's your shirt" he says looking away redder then he was before

I just hugged him shirtless... I forgot about that.

I get dressed then we return to the table and eat, I think this means he likes me back.... right

"Erm Draco it's uh pretty obvious now but I fancy you and I have for some time if you return my feelings I'd like you to be my boyfriend"

I swear I thought he was gonna spit his drink on me again "I would love to be your your boyfriend Harry!" He stands up from his side of the booth and comes to my side and sat down and gave me a hug which I returned

"I was so mad at myself because I thought I lost my chance I was like a first grader bullying their crush for attention" he said with a sigh

I look down into Draco's eyes while smirking "Well I guess you got my attention"

I lay some money on the table insisting that I would pay which he just growled at me and started muttering.

Which just made me laugh even though he was mad it was the cutest thing ever

We walked back up to Hogwarts hand in hand.. we decided earlier that since it's our last year here we weren't gonna keep our relationship a secret, if somebody asked we would tell them the truth

The wizarding world is pretty accepting anyways
