'I wonder how long it will take.', William thought as he looked down at the forest quickly passing by him.
Currently William and Chu Yuechan were headed to Wasteland Of Death, where the trial ground of the Primordial Azura Dragon was located.
Turning his head William looked at Chu Yuechan's expressionless face.
For some reason after using profound energy to treat his injuries she suddenly became a mute.
'Maybe I am just thinking too much? after all this looked like her original character from the novel.'
He explained to Chu Yuechan that after becoming a part of his familia her way of cultivation has changed drastically.
She could still cultivate like normal if she wanted to but right now she had a much faster and more efficient way to cultivate.
That was to go through live and death situations.
The more she challenge herself the more falna she would receive while will in turn increase her cultivation realm.
In short she needs to go through continuous battles in order to rapidly increase her cultivation.
And Wasteland Of Death is one of the best places for that as it also held the inheritance ground.

"We are here.", Chu Yuechan said as she used profound energy to carefully land William on the ground.
Indeed as William was unable to fly without transforming, he decided to let Chu Yuechan carry him using profound energy.
Looking around the place, William used his profound energy to scan the area.
He found some beasts shivering in the corners perhaps due to the aura of an Emperor coming out of Chu Yuechan.
"Kill all the beasts."
Chu Yuechan wondered why William asked her to kill these weak monsters but she still nonetheless raised her hand and directly crushed them all using sheer power.
At the same time, William's vision was covered by a ton of notifications.

William felt like he was in a dream.
Looking at the increasing divine points he couldn't help but get a little exited.

"And make sure to kill every beast we come across in the way."
Instead of replying Chu Yuechan directly started raining fire upon the poor beasts.
The smile of William's face grew wider as he kept looking at the increasing divine points.
"I can sense the aura of two Late stage Sky Profound Realm beasts up ahead."
Chu Yuechan said as she used profound energy and subconsciously brought William closer to her.
'This is the place!'
"We need to kill those beasts to reach our destination."
Chu Yuechan hesitated but still followed what he said.
But before going out to fight them.
"Why are we flying in the opposite direction?", William asked as he saw that they were suddenly flying opposite to the way they were headed to before.
But instead of replying to him Chu Yuechan just increased the speed and reached a slightly hidden location.
"Wait here I will come back after beating them."
Without waiting for him to say something Chu Yuechan quickly left the place.
"Well that works as well....."
William said in a small voice as he saw two giant dragons suddenly rising upto the sky.
"How dare a human like you intrude in our sacred place!!!!"
"Die!!!"
William wasn't worried about Chu Yuechan after all he already knew the power level of the dragons guarding the trail ground and they were absolutely no match against her.
His statement was proven right after.
"Impossible!!! how could a human-----"

William said as he set foot inside a dark cave.
He was sure that this was the place which held the trial ground of the Primordial Azura Dragon.
William entered the cave with expectant eyes.
I mean who doesn't want to have the power of a dragon?

Chu Yuechan also followed behind him as she looked around the cave with a curious expression on her face.
"Interesting I can feel the power of phoenix coming from your body but it feels much deeper than any type of inheritance.....tell me young one you can't be the illegitimate child of the phoenix can you?"
A voice full of majesty suddenly resounded in their mind catching Chu Yuechan off guard.
"Who is it?"
With quick movement Chu Yuechan appeared in front of William, her previous calm expression was replaced by a threatening one as she carefully observed her surroundings whole making sure that William was safe behind her.
William almost had the urge to roll his eyes at her behaviour, this was the trial ground of the Azura Dragon the king of all beasts from the primordial era, a True God placed right after the Creation Gods.
Even if it is the residual will of such a great being, it is more than enough to take care of them plus the pride of the king of all beasts wouldn't allow him to hurt weaklings like them.
"Hahaha no need to act so vigilant woman, I am a mere wisp of a residual soul left behind by the Primordial Azure Dragon that watches over this trial ground. I won't harm you." The ancient voice sounded once more. an honorable dignity was expressed through this voice, yet it was also as gentle as the wind.
"Primordial.... Azura....Dragon.....", Chu Yuechan muttered in a small voice, the name was unfamiliar to her but just the majesty coming from the voice was enough to make her have goosebumps all over.

A pair of mysterious eyes suddenly opened in the pitch-black space overhead. These two eyes were huge, yet long and narrow; they were about the same shape as a human's eyes… This scene resembled the phoenix eyes Willima had seen in the phoenix trial grounds. What was different was that the phoenix eyes were gold while these eyes were an azure blue color that was deeper than the skies.
