Stranger

A young man with silver hair and emerald green eyes crouched not too far away on the branch. His smile caused little dimples to form on his cheeks.

As Amaris sat shocked from the man's sudden appearance, the wind blew on his dark green cloak. "Hey~ are you going to stop staring anytime soon?~"

The young man chuckled and reached out with his hand. Amaris flinched and jumped backward onto a different branch.

"Ah~ You really shouldn't do that you might fall~"

He sat down on the spot Amaris had just jumped from and began swinging his legs off the side in a carefree way. Amaris made a small sound and began tapping her fingers on the tree in annoyance.

She stood up on the branch and held the trunk for support. She threw a cold glance over at the man and turned away to look at something else.

The Man's green eyes were unsettling and hard to make contact with.

"Hey~Look over here~"

His soft voice washed over her. Suddenly she felt the urge to obey this man and do whatever he wanted. She turned her head to look at him.

Her eyes were glazed over as she gazed emptily at the cloaked youth. Amaris felt great. She was relaxed and open. Nothing lay hidden in her mind.

She was free from all the emotions that once clogged her mind. Emotions? Why? Well of course because of her master-.

Amaris remembered what had happened just yesterday. Her master had told her he was planning on returning her to the castle soon.

Amaris had also discovered that her abilities had something to do with the energy flow of other living things. Amaris shook her head and glared at the man.

"Y-you! How dare you hypnotize me?!"
