Face (#1)

One of the things Dylan would never forget is his face, his masked face as he helped him years ago, when he was lost on that forest as a kid, and how the wierd bigger with a strange mask helped him- And since then he would help him, talk to him, walk with him to school, sit on the same table with him at lunch, even though they would be stared at- well, he would be stared at, since the Freak (as the cruel kids called him) always sat alone, and then this new kid suddenly started sitting alongside him! Ha, he was a target for bullying, but he did not care about that, he only helped him.

HIs name was Edgar Evyn Erestis, or as he called, him, Triple E.

It was a silly little nickname a kid would give to their very first friend, but Edgar seemingly liked the nickname because he chuckled the very first time he said that nickname for him, which was rare since Edgar never spoke unless necessary, even with him! He was the silent but kind type, since Dylan always found him playing with rescued Dogs on the veterinary, where he would go on his free time since his house was not that friendly nor healthy. Divorced parents that still tried to get his guard, would always fight in his presence, he ended up going to live with his grandmother who everyone believed to be a witch- Since she was really old, no one knew how old, but really old.

But the white mask that covered everything except his eyes was cool on Dylan's childish opinion, which Edgar seemed to appreciate the compliment whenver he said it out loud, always humming in thanks and/or hugging in appreciation. His arms were large, even when they were kids his body was bigger than normal, many said because he was the result of inbreeding or even the offspring of a demon with a witch, which Dylan found to be ridiculous.

But they grew up, Dylan grew upto be 6 feet, but Edgar was in the 7 feet house, always taller than him by two heads when they grew up! Puberty came well for Dylan, deeper voice, stronger muscles, and ass hair (which he hated, but okay), he communicated with Edgar by hand-signals, since he taught the boy after he visited his aunt that was deaf when he was 8, Edgar really appreaciated a way to communicate with him without using his voice, but his voice was interesting enough, really strange.

Like, very gravelly, very deep, and very growly, but it was because he never used it as he should, but if he didn't want to talk, it was fine with Dylan, but hearing him say his name when he was moving out to college for the first and last time was heartbreaking, ever since he realized he had developeda bit of a crush on him- I mean, a bigger, stronger person, who is always beside you, always listen when you talk, and is very helpful to you? HOw could he not fall in love with him?

It was the only logical thing to happen... But now, 5 years after college, at the age of 25, Dylan is back at the little town he grew up in- He loved the interior vibes he got from this place, there was a lot of camp and rivers, so there were many farms here, he remembers running through the fields, playing with Edgar, who would always win when the game involved something physical, but would lose if it was a game to use your head- Like Chess.

He hopes he hasn't moved out yet- He heard some nasty things about this place recently, like how people often would go missing, but he ignored this, people would go missing here ever since he was bron! They only started to vanish more recently because teens ands stupid people would go out at night on the forests around the small city due to stupid ghost stories and some famous places- Like one of the lakes that Dylan and Edgar would spend hours on, playing by the water, just because someone died there they started to tell ghost stories about that place... Ridiculous.

He first orginazed his things before setting out to Edgar's old home- He knew where it was, he would follow him home sometimes, he was never allowed to go in, but they played outside of it, Edgar always said to him it was because his grandmother didn't like visitors, so he would bring him food and water when they were playing, which was enough for kid Dylan. Now, however, that he heard that Edgar's grandma passed away a few months ago, he could visit him- If he still lives there, that is.

The house was old and dark, there were no better words to describe it than these, the gloomy atmosphere around the house was darker than he remembers, the place was a wreck- He hopes he doesn't live here anymore, the place looks to be in terrible conditions, and if he finds out Edgar still lives here, he's gonna drag him out of this house and make him live with him. He can't have him here! This place looks like it would fall apart if you blew it hard enough, like the Big Wolf from that tale involving three pigs.

"What are you doing here? This is private property." A female voice called out to him, making him stop and stare at the owner of the voice- A tall blond woman, he rolled his eyes at the ridiculous thought that came to his mind when he heard her words, but focused back his eyes on the fragile house. "Does someone still live on this house?" He asked, hoping for a negative answer, but the growling noise that came out of the woman's mouth was not something he expected. "Why should i answer that? This is private property and you're trespassing, get the fuck out bitch." He raised his eyebrows at her for a second before throwing his head back and shouting at the top of his lungs: "Triple E!" He knew Edgar would hear him if he was around, that man has a very sharp and acute hearing, he was always able to find him when they played hide-and-seek when they were little, but he found a few ways to hide from him that were quite effective, like hiding near running water, or simply stop breathing for a few seconds before breathing in a slow pace, that would make him almost invisible!

"What the fuck are you doing?" The woman quickly approached him, he did not move, waiting to see if he was still here, but to his dissapointment (and relief), he wasn't. "Well, he isn't here i guess... I'll go home, search around for him later." The woman was almost touching him, but Dylan grew up used to be scared by Edgar, who could walk so silently that he would always be able to creep on him! It was fun to try to find him or scare him back, since it was very hard to do both. hen the blond girl was about to touch his shoulder, he heard the bush beside him move, and he saw the shirtless Edgar walk out of the bush, fewe twigs and leaves on top of him. "Eddy!" Dylan smiled, dodged the woman skillfully, and approached the shirtless man.

Edgar was even taller than when last he saw him, probably 7'6? Maybe taller, but he was 100% buffer than before, his muscles were large, his large- Was that an 8 pack? Damn, his crush did not die those 5 years he spent away in college! NO, it certainly didn't, he was almost drooling when he saw him, but to be fair, he was a piece of sin that Dylan would not want to be forgiven by the lord when he does him- Okay brain , you can stop now. He still had that all white mask on his face that covered everything but his beautiful amber-ruby eyes, they were gorgeous, he would always get lost on his eyes whenver he stared too much.

He quickly signaled to him with his thin fingers: [Hey Eddy, how have you been? I heard about your grandma, i'm sorry about her by the way, i came to visit you!] He smiled brightly at him, but Edgar was looking at the woman behindhim, making Dylan look back, the woman was not alone anymore, no, there were another two guys- twins,- with her. "UHm... Can i help you?" Dylan hesitantly asked, he has learned a few martial arts as a teen to protect himself, since his dad was the Sheriff of this little town, he was seen as an even bigger target by people who wanted to do him harm in any way- Edgar would never let anyone hurt him, which helped his cursh grow stronger when he saved him once from a guy who wanted to kidnap him, but now, he can take care of himself... Mostly.

"No, you can't..." One of the twins said, smirking dangerously as they all stepped forward, the other twin smiled as well as he said: "But he can!" In an instant, they were beside him and Edgar, one of them going for Eddie, while the other one was going for him, they were fast- unnaturally so- but he did not spend years training with Edgar to be slow! He caught the arm that was going to hit him, twisted it around, swipped the leg under, broke the man's balance, and threw him to the floor in a second. Edgar was also not bad, he simply grabbed the man by the head and threw him towards the blond woman, who dodged easily.

"Why are you helping him, human!?" The blond woman shouted angrily, pointing at Edgar: "He's a fucking demon!"

"Eddie." Edgar hummed questiongly. "Areyou a demon?" Edgar nodded. "Were you bron one?" Eddie nodded. "Are they your enemies or something like that?" Eddy nodded again. "Are they humans?" Ed shaked his head in denial. "Will you ever hurt me?" Edgar looked offended and sad that Dylan even asked that, he quickly shaked his head, making Dylan smile and ask another question: "Can you show me your face later?" Edgar paused for a moment, hesitant, but nodded in affirmation. "That's all i need to know." Well, his teenage excpected that Edgar was really a demon- he even found that really hot for some odd reason- so he was pretty chill about this whole supernatural bullshit happening here, plus, Edgar's body was really close now, he could feel the heat emanating from him!

"You-..." The woman frowned as the twins groaned in pain, Dylan saw the one close to him trying to get up, it would not be smart ot let him do that, so he kicked him in the balls, making the boy groan loud and fall to the ground in pain. "Well, good to see that the weak spot never changes." Edgar only looked at him, Dylan knew that look, the 'shocked-but-entertained' look he always had whenver he was talking about something completely random and gross, like different torture techniques he learned about on the internet. "What?" Edgar huffed a breath, making Dylan sigh and look at him with a raised eyebrow: "Just because we haven't seen each other for 5 years, 6 months, 13 days, and 12 hours-" He pretended not to see the light that shone on Edgar's eyes as he said the correct amount of time they haven't seen each other, but he couldn't hide the tiny blush on his ears that grew. "It doesn't mean i lost my ability to read you like an open book, mister Edgar Evyn Erestis, or should i call you triple E? Eddie? Eddy? Ed? Edward Scizor hands? Mister Mask? Maskteer? Do i need to keep reminding you the nicknames i have for you?"

There was a small smile on Ed's face, but Dylan couldn't see it because of the mask, but he would be mesmerized by the gentle smile that it was.
