Single is fine

When I woke up, both Alex and Alice is already awake. I was a little shocked to see them eating in silence opposite to each other.

"You guys are early bird..." I tease them. Both of them nodded at me. I just shrugged at the lack of response. It will be pretty awkward after what happened yesterday. I sit diagonally to both of them. In this position, I can see both of them.

"Here is your serving..." Alex push a plate of food to me. "Alice Cook it, as thanks."

"Thanks! I didn't do much though..." I pick the plate and start eating the breakfast Alice cooked. Now, we all are eating in silence.

Alice is the first person to finished eating, followed by Alex. When Alice gets up and picks up the plate, Alex also follows her.

Their interaction didn't seem like they are in a bad relationship. At the same time, I saw a few red spots on Alice's neck. When I look at Alex, she also has red spots on her neck.

"..." That's quick.

[I can't reach Alex all night.] Alex's system spoke.

"....Hey, both of you...." Both Alex and Alice shuddered when I called them and turn their faces slowly to look at me.

I look at them with a smile that doesn't reach my eyes. "You better wash the sheets...."

After my reminder, Alice quickly covered her neck more and run towards the kitchen with a red face while Alex look at me with wide eyes.

"I... We don't do it in the end!! We only kissed all nig–Oww!!???" A wooden spoon suddenly fly from the kitchen and hit Alex right at the back of her head.

"BABE!!!!??" Alex shouted in disbelief. But, in return, another spoon came and hit Alex again right in the face. And more and more kitchen utensils, except sharp or heavy objects being thrown towards Alex.

"DON'T CALL ME BABE!!" A shout came from the kitchen. Alex who is avoiding all the items being thrown at her quick reply,

"YOU LIKE IT WHEN I CALL YOU THAT LAST NIGHT THOUGH !!!!???"

"KYAA!!!" Alice screams louder as she throws more things towards Alex.

"...." They better clean the house letter. I get up from the dining table and walk out of my own house, to see that Caroline is already standing in front of my house, with a second male lead beside her.

"AVA!!!" Caroline quickly hug me with a big smile on her face.

"Morning Ava!" Cole Ryder waves his hand at me.

I nodded at him before returning their greet. "Morning Cole, morning Carol..."

"What are you doing here in the morning, Cole?" I asked him as we walk together towards school. Caroline walks in the middle between me and Cole.

"Oh... Just walking with my girlfriend in the morning..." He smiles coolly as he glances at Caroline who suddenly looks dumbfounded.

"Girlfriend!?" I look at Caroline.

"We aren't in a relationship!!!!!" She quickly denied it, waving her hands frantically.

" At least not yet..." Cole smiled and Caroline's blush become more visible, and her step becomes faster, leaving both me and Cole walking behind her.

Cole just laugh and nodded at me before chasing Caroline and pat her hair from behind. From their interactions, it's clear that Caroline also has a good impression of him. It will not be long for them to be together. They are clearly flirting.

"....." So many people get into relationships.

[Maybe you will find one someday....]

"I don't find the right person..." I said in small tones.

[You just don't bother to search for it...]

"Yep, I just don't.."

Until we reach school, Caroline and Cole keep flirting non-stop. Luckily, I'm walking behind them.

Then, I heard the sound of a quarrel not far behind me. The quarrel is of course between Alex and Alice. Alex keeps hugging and making small movements at Alice, while Alice keeps saying she doesn't like it, but she clearly is smiling.

"Great, So many lovebirds...." I decided to walk far away from them. Luckily, I am from different classes with everyone. Caroline clearly has forgotten about me as she keeps walking with Cole.

And I'm sure don't want to involve myself with Alex and Alice. Therefore, in other to not bump into them, I decided to take a detour and buy a drink before walking to class.

As I walk, many students are staring at me. Well, this is normal. As I'm inside the students' council despite having average grades. Some are jealous, but, after what happened last time, no one dare to mess with me.

[Being nicknamed a Blind Demon by everyone is a pretty good achievement...]

I roll my eyes after hearing the ball's remarks.

I got this nickname after fighting with bullies with eyes closed. Somehow, a student record the fight, and the video was posted to the school's forum. Because, I'm in the student council, and I got Vincent and Becca's protection, the video was deleted without a trace, and I didn't receive any punishment.

But, a lot of people have already seen the videos. And rumors about me have spread. "Welp... As long they don't bother me...." I just shrugged.

I was already standing in front of the vending machines, and is searching for my student's card to scan for payment, but, someone already pays it for me.

The person picks up the drink and passes it towards me.

I look at Doctor Maya's expressionless face, as she holds out the drink in her hand to pass it towards me.

She looks at me and waves her hand that's holding the drink to get my attention.

"Thanks..." I take the drink from her hand and nodded at her before opening the can and drink it.

After taking a few sips, the doctor is still looking at me. When I look at her, she is back to wearing the school's doctor's attire. The long white coat, and glasses. Her hair is not tied up in a too-long ponytail, unlike last night. She looks innocent and friendly person if she smiles like before. But, when she is not smiling, and looking at me seriously, I can see her former temperament.

'A War General...' I thought in my head.

"You want to talk?" I don't bother to put on an act in front of her. I know what she wants to ask already.

"You know what I'm here for..." The doctor didn't question me. She knows, and I also know.

"Wanna talk here, or somewhere else?" I look at her with a smile, before taking another sip from my drink.

"Just here, is fine. No one is here anyway..." She said.

When she sees that I don't mind, she quickly states what she wants to know.

"Who is Rebecca, to you?" Doctor Maya asked with a menacing aura.
