"You don't need to be a genius to know what I mean." A small smile appeared on my face when I see the male lead's expression. He looks like he has heard something unbelievable. Well, it must be hard for him to swallow this information. Too bad, what he heard right now is the truth. Despite that, he is quick to change his expression. As expected of the cold male lead and the future heir of a giant company.

He looks at Becca, who is also has changed her expression. " I still believe that you have hidden agenda."

I can't help but rolled my eyes but, this is to be expected. A male lead's train of thought cannot be changed right away. They are known to be very proud and can't accept their mistake. Someone needs to show them and, they have to realize their own mistakes step by step.

'I am no stranger to this kind of person.' I let out a sigh when I suddenly remember my stepbrother. 'He is such a pain in the ass. But, good thing he wasn't my enemy.' A few memories of me with him suddenly appeared in my head. "Sigh…" 'He really was an annoying piece of shit.'

"Look! President. I know you are not seeing things eye to eye with Becca but, you need to stop having prejudiced thoughts with someone you claimed have known the longest." The male lead looks taken aback when he hears my bold sentence. " Even if she is someone you don't like, at least you cannot act rashly," I tell him a piece of advice. " When you are working in the future, and you see a situation that looked almost like what happened today, you cannot charges in blindly. At least you need evidence to support your claims."

"You! You! Dammit!" The male lead let out a heavy sigh before scratching his head. I believe everyone is looking at him with different thoughts. I think that he seems to realize a bit of truth in my advice. Becca seems to wait for his response nervously. Her palm is clenched hard and a little bit shaky. Caroline is… well, being a dumb-dumb person like she is, I'm sure she's just confused as hell.

After a few seconds of watching him gritting his teeth, he let out a heavy sigh. He looks at Becca before saying, " I'm sorry for getting to a conclusion too fast." The fact that the male lead is apologizing makes Becca looks at him with her eyes wide. She almost loses her cool because she almost gapes. She looks at me with confusion in her eyes.

I return her gaze with a polite smile. 'I'm sure she didn't expect that the male lead will apologize. The male lead is just famous with their pride. But, I've dealt with someone who is more pain in the ass than him.'

"But!" The male lead continues. "I believe the choice for Caroline to join the students' council should be in her hand, not us." He said that with his arm crossed. He looks at Becca's face seriously without any ridicule like before. Now, everything is business.

"Huh…" I let out a soft sigh of relief. That's one trouble down. I believe what I did just now will change the future outcome of the villainess' life destruction. I return to the couch and sit beside Caroline with a warm smile on my face. Caroline is staring at me for a very long time. I let out a chuckle before repeating what the male lead had just said just now.

"I'm sure you've heard the risk when joining the students' council. Now, what do you think? Will you still be interested in joining?"

Caroline finally breaks out of her trance. She looks at me with wide eyes before looking down at her hand. I can hear her talks in a meek voice.

"I want to… But, I'm scared," Caroline peeks at me before looking away. Hiding her face by looking down.

"What did she said?" Becca asks after a long time of keeping her silent. The male lead is also looking forward to hearing her answer.

"She said," I paused a little to see Caroline's reaction before a teasing thought comes to my mind. " She said Yes!! She is very excited to join all of you!" I answer with a big grin. I don't even realize a hand is coming toward my face until my mouth is clasped by someone.

"NnO NO!! I'M NOT!! AVA'S LYING! SHE'S LYING!!" Caroline is frantically trying to stop me from saying another word, which is very funny. I can't help but laugh from looking at her reaction.

"Calm down… I'm joking with you!" I grab her hands and pull them away gently from my mouth.

Ignoring my laugh, Becca just let out a heavy sigh while pinching the bridge of her nose. After shaking her head a few times, she asked again. "Then Caroline, what will your answer be?"

After that, the male lead also adds. " If you are worried about the bullies and scared of rumor, I can create an exception for you. When he said that, everyone is looking at him in shock. I am also shocked by his bold remark.

'Did he fall in love with Caroline?' I worry that his action will hurt Caroline and Becca's reputation in any way. Most parts of Becca's destruction ends are closely related to the male lead's choices and Caroline's emotion. Caroline is also suffering from bullying because of her relationship with all the male leads.

" I don't mean anything weird by that. Don't worry!" The male lead waves his hand calmly before sitting beside Becca. Becca also scoots a little bit farther than him to give him more space. His hands are clasped together before he continues to tell us his thought.

"As the president of the student council and the heir to the Lunar Company, I promise that I will not allow any school violence to happen under my watch." He looks at Caroline seriously without any sign of flirting. "I believe that you think about the same things as me, Becca?"

After receiving Becca's nods, he continues to speak. "As the president and the vice president, we should be held responsible for taking care of our members."

After listening to the male lead's promise, Caroline's eyes light up with hope and confidence. "Thank You! I will work hard."

"Oh! And Avaline, right?" He looks at me suddenly. It caught me off guard.

"Yes," I replied.

"What do you think about joining the students' council as Becca's new assistant?"

"Huh?" I look at him with my head tilted to the side a little.

"Eh?" Becca looks at him with a frown on her face.

"What?" Caroline stares at him with her mouth open.
