1 To Ashes

AN- This is my first work and it will be a roller coaster of mistakes and such, If you give me a chance however hopefully I can come up with an enjoyable story.

Plus I would like to give some head ups.

I have issues remembering things so I have to look up stuff from the web to see if if I'm right, and that may seem weird when reading, for example I can't remember certain island names so I will look them up and write them down but sometimes I will write it down believing I got it right, if I am mistaken sorry I guess.

I'm only human after all so I make mistakes, it doesn't help that I'm a dumb human lol.

Also I'm writing this to as a hobby because I love fanfics, I have always wanted to give it a try.

Anyway on to the story, sorry for the long winded AN.

I always considered myself as a average person, never really wanted to be anything really, my parents would always push me to do things to further my development but I just couldn't get the motivation to do anything.

So my life was pretty boring to the view of others, I thought differently obviously but that didn't change other's opinions of me. But I never really cared what thet thought.

After I left college I got my own apartment and just gambled for my money, I was pretty good at it not some spy level shit but I was good at it.

I never really left my apartment I stayed home and read fanfiction or just watched anime, I liked it that way.

Though my parents would always say "Leo get a job and settle down with a nice girl." I would always brush them off, call me a beta but I was scared of getting rejected.. So what!? I'm a virgin! Doesn't meant I'm any less of a human then you!

Sigh, whatever I did try to get a girlfriend, this girl I met in college, she was quite pretty but not model level but still a nice looking girl. I asked her out for coffee or something and she flat out rejected me, Like man do you even know how that feels, those few moments staring at each other were like as if the world was being torn apart around me! So I never asked a girl out since. Well actually there was this one girl… we don't talk about her…

Anyway, I just chill in my apartment. When I need food or groceries I just order them from the internet, works pretty well in my opinion.

Wait! Shit I forgot to introduce myself like those cool movie characters right before they tell you their life story!

Well, my name is Leonardo McLoid, I know weird and over the top bud it he only unique thing about me! I have brown hair with hazelnut eyes and a slight beard, I have an average face paired with a unfit body fit for my lifestyle, not fat but not skinny ether more like a dad-bod? I guess.

Anyway enough with the self reflection. Were was I? Oh yeah more self reflection!

So here I am sitting on my couch on my phone watching some one piece I haven't gotten far I'm on the Dressrosa ark when they are trying to get to Doffy.

Though I know more then the episode I'm on since my reading of fanfics and watching a certain swipe app, Damn you random people for spoiling gear 5! Yeah so I know Luffy eventually fights the the pink bastard with gear 4. And then proceeds to go to the Wholecake Island and fight big mom but run away after fighting her son I think?

Anyway I'm interrupted when I suddenly get a phone call, I would usually just hang up on those with named tags on my phone but the person who was calling me had a tag. Rob? Who the fuck is that I don't know a Rob.

I clicked answer and put the call on loud speaker, "Hello?" I asked unsure.

The voice that answers is deep and sounds arrogant? No confident. "Hello, is this Leo?" He asks his posh voice making me think of a nobleman out of one of those crapy mediaeval shows.

"Yeah? Who this?" I asked confused, he answers quickly "I'm just a Ramdom omnipotent being, don't have to worry kid." He says with a chuckle.

"Kid? I'm 24, and is this some prank?" I asked annoyed by the weird guy.

"Weird guy huh? That hurts my feelings Leo." He replied with mock sadness.

"H-How the hell did you do that!?" I demanded shock by him reading my thoughts.

"No need to shout Kid, I'm a God, of course I can read your thoughts." That did not help the situation one bit, that just made me even more nervous.

"What? Are you fucking with me right now?" I asked my voice on the edge of showing my nerves.

"Again calm down kid, I am actually here because you have been chosen to be transmigrated into One Piece." He said getting straight to the point.

I stared at the phone in shock before an excited grin formed on my face, "Are you serious?" My voice dripping of hope.

"Yup." He said popping the P, "And I even give you a strong body with a random devil fruit." He said as if he was proposing a job offer.

"Man this seems to good to be true.." I said my smile slightly dimming, "Is there a but here?"

"Nope, I'm doing this because my superiors said I have to choose some random dude or lass to reincarnate or they will demote me, So this benefits both of us. Plus you will never hear from me again after this." He explained further.

"Deal." I said immediately.

"Wow~ That was a quick acceptance." He said with a amused tone, "Well obviously, my life kind of sucks on the excitement side." I said with a sigh.

"Heh, I guess so. Well what kind of fruit do you want Zoan, Logia or Paramecia, no mythol though that's above my pay grade." He said with a sigh of his own at the end.

Man, that suck I guess no cool dragon power for me boohoo, what am I kidding I don't care as soon as he said Logia I was choosing that, why? Because they were my personal favourite type looked at people like Enel, Blackbeard, Crocodile and the Big 3 Admirals.

"Logia huh? Good choice no backing up though are you sure?" He asked, I thought for 10 seconds and confirmed my choice.

"Yeah Logia." I said with a firm tone, it was a bit strange talking about these things over the phone but eh, whatever.

"Haha, okay I'm going be a prick and tell you what you wouldn't gotten of you choose the other two because I pre rolled them before giving you the choice." He says and I take in a sharp breath in fear that I let go of a fruit like whitebeards.

"The Zoan was the Bear-Bear Fruit Model Kodak, which is funny because if you choose that you would have been a walking talking meme." He laughs and I let a relieved sigh.

"The paramecia fruit was the Stop-Stop fruit which is a better version of Foxy's fruit, you shot out red beams that freeze the target for 5 minutes or lower if they are strong willed." He said with a even more amused voice.

Thank fuck! Anyway fucking logia would be better then those fruits, sure the bear one is decent but a logia could clap any normal Zoan fruits, though it depends on the user's Haki, but if we were going off just the fruits then a logia is a far better choice.

"Anyway that's all I'm saying, also the fruit will be in your hands when you transmigrate so make sure not to lose it." He said with a chuckle.

"Also this is 1 month before the canon so make sure to get used to your powers before then." He warned with a relaxed tone.

Damn that sucks, nothing I can do about it I'm definitely joining the Strawhats, screw making my own crew I want to hang out with my man Luffy-no homo- I always loved fanfics that followed the Strawhats.

"Without further delay, I will be seeing you never. Have fun in your next life, oh and I will give you a letter with your name age and a basic background story so don't worry about that shit, I'm not that much of a dick.. Anyway bye." He hang up the phone.

Suddenly it felt as if my entire body was being sucked up by a straw, shit, this felt weird everything went black for a couple moments and then with a sudden pull I was sitting on the ground, in a forest? What the fuck..

I looked down I was in some basic clothes a white shirt with black shorts. In my hands was a weird grey fruit with red dots on it and swirly patterns.

Without hesitation I bite into it swallowed and tried to ignore the shit like taste until I finished the whole fruit stem and all.

"Shit that was the worst fucking thing I have ever tasted." My voice was different I still had my Scottish accent but it was more deep and had more of an edge to it.

And then basic knowledge of the fruit I just eat came into my head.

Ash-Ash fruit!

AN- I will try to update everyday but I'm a lazy guy, so don't expect much.

I'm going to make more chapters today, it's 3 am right now so I'm going to take a moment to let my head cool off the I'll post the next chapter tomorrow.

I tried to be unique on the Rob thing but I couldn't think of anything else, I didn't want to go Truck-Kun on my dude, that fate is only for the true OP MC's, speaking of which Mc wont be a god on day one or anything like that he will gain power realistically(as realistic it can get in one piece.), of course he will be strong in the East blue but grandline? Yeah he would be clapped by the strong ones easily, he also wont learn haki on day one but he will definitely learn all 3.

For those disappointed about the fact he is joining the Strawhats, come on man don't tell me you wouldn't want to be with those wacky bunch.

As for lemons.. I will do them In an young adult after all(I am 18..), but mc will only have like 2-3 girls none of which are Nami, I like her looks, I know shallow but her money stick would not mesh well with Mc.

I am definitely doing Robin though, I love that gal, she is so cool and chill and has some nice.. abilities yeah abilities..

As for the other two leave them in the comments with a picture of them and I will think about adding them if not I will just think of some myself, also they have to be from one piece I ain't doing a crossover sorry.

As for how the Mc looks you will get a description next chap.

I'm up for ideas so throw them at me! I'm new and I'm not stubborn like other writers(read amuteurs).
