Audition (Revised)

Sarah read the lines in her mind for a while, and started her performance.

After Juno learned that she was unexpectedly pregnant, she asked a friend to use the sofa where she and her boyfriend had sex for the first time. They moved the sofa to the door of her b০yfriend's house together, and then sat there to tell him the news of her pregnancy.

And now it's this scene that Sarah is auditioning for. She held a pipe in her mouth and walked towards the only set of sofas in the audition room. Probably to get closer to the character, Sarah wore a pair of flat shoes today. So when she took steps towards the sofa, although her steps were different from

before, it didn't made people feel weird. It just seemed a little more causual.

When she sat on the sofa, she naturally crossed her legs and sat on them as if she had no bones. The eyes of everyone present involuntarily followed Sarah's steps and fell on her body. From her not-so-g০০d-girl fitting posture, they fell on her face. Very much Juno.

Sarah herself is a very strange beautiful girl. Logically speaking, when she doesn't make any disguise, when others talk with her, they will involuntarily stare at her face for few more seconds. This is a very unique and useful characteristic for the actors and models.

Reitman and the others found that when they looked at Sarah now, their eyes were focused on her face, but it was not because of her attractive beauty, but the expression on her face. They found that no matter

how Sarah raised her eyebrows, frowned, pursed her lips, or even unconsciously rubbed her pipe with her fingertips, they were all more attractiive than her appearance.

"Why are your shorts so shiny today?" Sarah held the pipe in one hand and rested casually on the armrest of the sofa with the other, her crossed legs shaking unconsciously. "Oh, your mother is still awesome." After Juno got the answer from her boyfriend, she raised her eyebrows slightly.

Seeing that he was about to leave, she casually put the hand on the armrest into her pocket, and then said, "Did you know?" She stared at the pipe in her hand, and then said in a calm-sounding tone, "I'm pregnant."

As she said that, she looked up at her boyfriend Paulie. The expression on her face was not as calm as her tone, and there was even a moment of confusion in her transparent blue eyes.

Director Reitman's eyes lit up slightly, his body moved forward subconsciously, and he stared unblinkingly at Sarah, who was

completely absorbed in the drama.

In the script, Juno is a cool girl. She is

not a traditional good student or good girl. On the contrary, it's her unique temperament that makes her a good girl. Many adults are unwilling to let their children play with her for this reason, but it doesn't matter to Juno. She has not changed herself because of this. She prefers to be herself than catering to others. But such a maverick and cool girl would still be a little hesitant when she

learned about her unexpected pregnancy. After all, no matter how intelligent or cool you are, somethings can only be understood after experiencing them personally.

So she came to see her boyfriend. However, her boyfriend seemed to be even more flustered and hesitant than she was, so this helplessness quickly disappeared in Sarah's eyes. She took her hand out of her pocket and wiped her pipe unconsciously, while saying in a nonchalant tone: "Nip it in the bud, so as not to make a big fuss."

As she spoke, her eyes drifted away from the area in front of her and moved toward Paulie's direction. She slightly wrinkling her nose as if she was bored, "Teacher also said in physiology class that once you get

pregnant, you may give birth to... a

child."

Sarah blinked lightly, her beautiful blue eyes seemed to have been washed by water, revealing a moist clarity. She looked at Paulie and couldn't help but slow down her voice and asked, "So, Are you okay with the abortion?"

"I am sorry, । shouldn't have sex with you". The assistant standing on the side read Paul's line. Paul himself was too flustered at the moment to say anything comforting to Juno.

After knowing that her boyfriend was okay with her abortion, Juno moved her throat as if swallowing saliva, the pipe was put down, and the expression on her face

returned to her usual indifferent look.

She stood up from the sofa and said as she walked with a pipe in her mouth, "It's not really your idea. I'll see you at school."

Reitman and the others kept following Sarah. She moved toward the door, her steps were more casual than before, but not hesitant this time.

After reaching the door, Sarah turned around again and said to Director and others: "My performance is over."

"Okay, you can go back first." The casting director looked at the director and producers, and said to Sarah, "We will notify the results to your agent later."
