In actuality, Glitch skills required Mods skills as prerequisites. So Grey had to sacrifice a minimum number of Mods stat points to use it.
It sounded fine because losing one freed up a cool 50,000 stat points he could use to buy dozens of Modder skills.
However! He could catch up and unlock another Glitch skill if he didn't spend too many points.
