The Queen

*Sarah's Pov*

**Time Skip**

It had been 2 weeks since the assassination, but the queen hasn't woken up yet. Staying in her hospital room for the past 2 weeks was exhausting. I would worry and not have much motivation to cook because she hasn't woken up yet but-. Wait. Hold on. Why do I care? I shouldn't care but seeing her like this kind of hurts me too in a way. But what way? While thinking of how to answer this question, my eyes started to slowly droop. I didn't want to sleep but I haven't slept in 2 days. I couldn't help it and fell asleep right next to the queen.

*No One's POV*

After Sarah fell asleep, she didn't notice the queens hand twitching. The queen opened her eyes slowly and looked around wondering where she is. She sat up to have a better look around but wince in the process due to her injury. Looking around she noticed that Sarah was lying her head in her arms on the side of the bed, sleeping.

*Victoria's POV*

Looking around, I see that I am in an infirmary room and Sarah sleeping in her arm on the side of the bed, making my heart skip a beat. She is so beautiful. It's so cliché to realize my love for her when I was about to die, but hey, I was able to make a decision.

**Flash Back**

I was struggling to keep the knife in his hand away from my throat. **Sigh** If I knew that I was going to die today, I would have told Sarah that I liked her. Wait. I like her. I like Sarah and not just because of lust or whatever, but because I genuinely love her. I want to be with her. Everything about her is perfect, her flaws make her even more attractive. NO!!! I can't die right now; I still have to tell her-. Before I can finish my thought process, Sarah rushed in and saved me. Her fighting style is so beautiful. Oh, she is coming over.

Sarah: "Are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?"

Victoria: "I'm fine, just a little scratch. Huh? I'm feeling tired, I'm going to close my eyes and rest for a little while."

**Flash Back Over**

I'm going to try my best to make her fall for me. I won't let anybody else have her. She is mine. (a/n: Damn. You haven't even started a relationship yet but you're already so possessive.)

Victoria: "Sarah. Sarraahh. Wake up."

*Sarah POV*

I woke up to someone shaking me a little and someone calling my name. Ugh, let me sleep a little more, I'm tired.

Sarah: "5 more minutes."

Victoria: "If that is what you want."

Wait a second.

Lifting my head up, I see the queen with a beautiful smile on her face. She's awake.

Sarah: "You're awake. You're awake!!! Are you okay? That's a stupid question, of course you're not okay, you were bleeding so much blood, you could have died from blood loss."

Victoria: "What happened? I remember being in your arms, but I don't remember being taken to an infirmary room."

Sarah: "I was able to capture the assassinator and save you in time. You had a deep cut on the side of your stomach. If I hadn't saved you fast enough, you would have died from blood loss."

Victoria: "Then I guess I should thank you for saving me. Tell me. What is it that you want as your reward?"

Sarah: "I don't know what I want right now, but are you okay to wait for an answer?"

Victoria: "I'm willing to grant you anything reasonable whenever you are ready for that reward."

**Time Skip**

It has been a month since the assassination attempt and the queen is doing better. She is able to do her daily job but was advised to not work too hard so here I am, helping her do the hard work.

*No One's POV*

During the time Sarah and Victoria spent their time together, they have grown closer to each other, which was the queen's goal, but Sarah doesn't realize it. Sarah knew something was weird about her being close to the queen, but she just brushed it off as the queen likes her food, that's why the queen is close to her. Even the staff members know that that, was not the reason why the queen is close to her. (a/n: Just so you readers know, Sarah has never been in a relationship before.)

Victoria's POV

I was with Sarah in the back of the castle where the flower garden was for a couple hours now. There were roses, lavender, daisies, dandelion, and many more other types of flowers. This was where I came to clear my mind on some days. I wanted to have a break from all my paperwork, but I also wants to enjoy someone else's company. I just so happened to bump into Sarah on the way to the garden. It's not like I was trying to find her, I just bumped into her. Anyways, it's time I get my answers from those who tried to kill me.

Victoria: "Sarah. I'm going to head to the cells to get some answers from the assassin, do you want to go with me?"

Sarah: "Sure. I have been dying to see who was behind the attacks too."

*No One's POV*

In a dark room there was 3 people sitting with dark looks on their faces.

3rd Evil Man: "It has been more than a week since the attack on that woman, but I have heard nothing from my men's."

1st Evil Man: "Since you haven't heard from your men's, then it must mean that your men's have failed their mission."

2nd Evil Man: "If that is the case, then we better hope that they both died or else they will give us away."

3rd Evil Man: "They would never. They are loyal to no one but me. Trust me, they won't say a word if they are alive."
