"Okay get ready, I'll start now."

Hearing my words, both Reika and Hikari tensed up.

"Okay so the one that attacked us just now was a hollow."

"A hollow?" Reika asked.

"Yes a hollow, hollows are the corrupted spirits of people who died with regret and despair who stayed in the human world."

"What happens to the ones that died with no regret?" Hikari said.

"They move to the world of spirits."

"World of spirits? They don't go to heaven?" Reika innocently asked.

"No there is no heaven but there is hell though." I replied.

"Master, why did we run away? Were there more of those hollows coming after us?"

"Nah, I already killed all the hollows, the ones that were coming though are shinigamis."

"Soul reapers? As in the ones that guide spirits?" Reika said.

"Yep, they're the ones that kill hollows and send spirits who doesn't want to move to the afterlife to the world of spirits."

"As for how they kill hollows they have a sword called zanpakutō that can kill those hollows."

"Is the sword that you used earlier a zanpakutō Claude-kun?"

"Yup, only shinigamis can use a zanpakutō."

"Does that mean that your a shinigami too master?"

"No no I'm not, shinigamis are also spirits of people who have a strong reiryoku before they died.

"Reiryoku?" Both of Reika and Hikari asked.

"Reiryoku is an energy that every living being has from an ant to a human being, living beings can't use reiryoku because theirs is too weak, but there are some exceptions."

"Exceptions?"

"Mhm when people who have encountered hollows have children there is a chance that their children will awaken powers."

"People can also awaken their powers when their near a person who has strong reiryoku, that persons reiryoku can help them awaken their powers."

"I see." Reika said and fell into deep thought.

"That reminds me master, if these hollows are on earth then why don't people see them?"

"Because only people with strong reiryoku can, and those who does see them will get their memories rewritten by the shinigamis."

"Rewriting memories? Isn't that dangerous? Do they have any side effects?" Hikari asked in concern.

"Nope they don't have any side effects."

"Wait! If shinigamis are spirits then how do you have their powers despite being alive?" Hikari said.

Hearing her words, I didn't know what to say, I couldn't possibly say that my father-in-law is a primordial and made this body for me right?

What should I say..... Ah yes! I know!

"That's because I'm one of the people who awaken their powers after encountering a person with strong reiatsu."

"As for how I'm able to wield a zanpakutō, its because its the one I awakened my powers with."

"You can awaken powers with an object?"

"Yeah you could, if its been with you for a long time."

"Will we be able to awaken powers too?" Reika said excitedly.

"Uhh I don't know, but maybe."

"Last question, why were does hollows attacking us?"

"Hehehe..... Well its kinda because of me." I awkwardly said.

"Because of you?"

"Yeah... Hollows eat anything that has a strong reiryoku, and I have a strong and pure one, so hollows would always try to eat me, but because I have something that conceals my reiryoku they don't sense me.

"But its the other way for you guys, since Hikari is the one I always spent my time with, the thing that conceals my reiryoku also rubbed off on her.

"But I only met you Reika-chan for two days and its not enough for the thing that I'm using to go to you, I'm sorry for getting you to this trouble and hurt." I said to her with an apologetic face.

"What're you apologizing for? Although yes I could have died earlier but I'm right here safe and sound right? Besides that's nothing compared to the fact that there's super powers out there, that's like in the anime's!"

Seeing her reaction, I was speechless and thought "How can she not be scared but instead excited!? Although she's a dare devil but there's a limit on how much one is!"

"Could it be that those anime's that she watched influenced her?"

"Uhhh sure... I like your enthusiasm."

"Also can I come here often please?" Reika used her puppy eyes on me again.

"Hahh fine." I couldn't say no to those puppy eyes.

"Yes!" She made a silent victory pose.

Hikari seems to be thinking in deep thought so she didn't hear what I said.

"All right then, any more questions?

"No." Both of them said in the same time.

"Okay then, Reika you should go home, your family must be worried about you."

"Oh yeah!" She checked her phone for any messages and said "Yeah they are, I'll call them to tell them that I'm fine."

She called a number and after waiting a few seconds it got picked up and she started to talk through it.

"Hello mom?"

"Yeah I'm fine."

"What happened?"

".... I see are you guys okay?"

"I wasn't there, you probably heard someone else."

"Okay I'll be home in a few minutes."

She hung up the call and looked at me.

"What happened?"

"Their memories got rewritten." She said.

"Oh, what did they said?"

"They said that a truck carrying sharp objects flipped over on the road, causing the sharp objects to scratch the ground and the truck to make a dent on the ground."

"Well that's a good imagination."

"Imagination? What do you mean?"

"The thing that shinigamis use to rewrite memories is called a kikanshinki, the memories that it gave is random and based on what the people believe."

After saying this, I remembered what a kikanshinki looked like and chuckled.

Hahaha their so advance in technology yet they still have a birds face as a mascot.

"What're you laughing about Claude-kun?"

"Hah nothing, come on lets go, I'll walk you home." I said while standing up.

"Mhn." Reika nodded and followed me, she was still afraid from the earlier attack but now that I'm with her, everything will be fine.

We went out of the house and went to hers, as we were walking to her house, I started to get a little nervous about meeting her family.

I wasn't nervous last time since it was only one person but now I'm meeting her whole family, hopefully they wont get a bad impression of me.

Reika noticed me and teased "Oh~? What's this? Are you perhaps nervous Claude-kun?"

"This guy is always teasing me, now its time to get back at him." She thought in her hand.

"No I'm not, and isn't it supposed to be you that's nervous? After all, your boyfriend is about to meet your family." I countered.

"Wha." Reika's face turned red and she said "When were you my boyfriend!?"

"Oh? You didn't forget did you? You said that you were my girlfriend to Hikari."

"Tha-that was on accident!" She stuttered

"Well it wasn't to me." Was my reply.

"Just forget about it!"

"Hell no I'm not gonna do that."

"Muuuu." Reika puffed her cheeks and looked away.

"Hahaha so cute." I happily thought in my mind.

"Reika-chan." I called out to her.

"What is it?" She asked while still looking away.

"Here." I brought a necklace from the system that costs 1,000 points. It was a diamond shaped pendant with the edges of it being black and the middle being red while the chain was black.

I lifted her hand and gave it to her.

Feeling something in her hand, she turned around and saw a beautiful necklace.

She immediately brought the pendant in front of her face and said with glittering eyes.

"Wow... So beautiful."

"Is this for me?" She gripped the necklace with both hands and asked me with expectation in her eyes.
