105 Wait

A/N: Sorry for the late update. Also I won't upload for a while because were gonna get vaccinated, I think it was boosters but I don't know, I have a week immune system so I'll defined get sick.

—Now back to the story—

They drove away as me and my sister covered our faces with the clothes I prepared in the car.

Entering the apartment, we quickly went to my personal apartment and went in where we saw our younger sibling and parents with a few bodyguards I hired.

When my they saw us they went in front of us and hugged us, my mom asked me what was going on and I replied to her to wait.

I motioned for the bodyguards I hired to leave as that is the end of our deal, no matter how much money I have they won't guard my parents from several rich families and companies.

When they all left, my dad asked me what was going on, his usual gentle face was replaced by a stern one that says I will be in trouble if I don't

I told them all to sit down and started to explain to them everything I did, from how I exposed people to how I made enemies out of the riches people of the city.

"What are we going to do now!?" My sister asked in a panic.

"We leave the city, its the only way..." I trailed of with guilt and regret in my voice, now that I thought of what I have down, I wanted to punch myself.

I shouldn't have exposed those rich kids because they would come after us, I got too cocky and believed that their not that stupid as to believe baseless rumors.

I should've done something about those rumors but now that I hadn't they just blindly followed it and now they have all the proof they need to come after us.

My parents where silent, they knew how society could be cruel towards those who can't find out their powers.

They would be scorned by even those with useless powers because at least they discovered theirs.

My father closed his eyes as he exhaled, after opening them back again, he said. "We'll leave the city but not right now, I can imagine those kids families will be hunting us down, Felix, do you have enough food in here?"

"Yeah I have for at least 3 weeks." I answered.

"How do we know that were safe here?" My mom asked in concern.

"Don't worry mom, this condominium is owned by a powerful business out of the city, their known for keeping their clients information safe, they won't try to cause trouble here." I comforted her/

"Good, then after 2 weeks try to get some people out there to find out if they're still looking at us, if their not then we'll go move to another city, okay?"

And that's what we did, for two weeks we stayed in that apparent and never came out, the apartment I brought was a big one with 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, kitchen and a living room.

News about me circulated all over the internet, the news said that I murdered 9 teenagers and with 13 adults, as well putting 4 more teenagers in critical condition.

On this part, I knew it was true because the explosives that I used was enough to make a building collapse. The news didn't say anything about a cliff but rather I blew them up when they were in a party.

There must've been some people who fell during the explosions but since they wanted to tell that they lured me there they didn't say anything about missing ones.

The news also gave false information about me like me having a powerful ability that lets me control fire and accusing me of crimes I never did like stealing confidential information and rape.

My family was also accused of crimes they never did, to which we comforted each other.

During the wait I researched for any far cities that doesn't have any branches of the families that are hunting us. I found a good one that was far from here that was near a beach and near one of the best colleges.

I searched for a place to stay in and reserved a room in a hotel.

2 weeks later I did as my dad told me and hired a mercenary, I told him to find out if people were still looking for me.

I didn't told him my name, only a fake one because there's money on my head right now and I have no doubt that he'll sell me out to the authorities.

He told me that people were still looking and I gave him the money. I told my dad the news to which he responded to wait again for another week.

After another week, I hired another mercenary and told him to see if people were still looking for me.

He told me that the amount of people reduced by a lot and only some were still actively working.

There were only two explanations for this, either this is a trap and they only stopped to make us let our guard down and are waiting or they really did stop.

Having an idea on how those rich people work, I believed it was the latter. I told my family what the mercenary said and what I think.
