Magic Puzzle (2)
It's been 2 days since the competition. Right now we are in a special research room at the royal castle. This room was created due to me and Laila's request to complete the task our master gave us.
The room is 20m x 20m in size and 15 meters in height. The room has 3 floors in total with the first floor being the main, floor the second being the library, and the third floor being the storage room. The second and third floor has a hole in the middle allowing us to look down on the lower floor.
The wall is made from special steel that is found on the dwarven continent commonly known as 'White Steel'. This type of steel is very strong and has the ability to prevent mana leaking out from the room. It also could prevent satellite signals from entering the room which makes it very expensive. White steel is usually used for building a stronghold and research facility like the one we are in right now.
Our research room looks very futuristic, similar to the one that can be found in sci-fi movies. The wall is pure white with blue lines spreading around the room neatly emitting light. In the center of the room there was a giant mechanical device surrounding a white crystal by forming a globe around it.
Around the device, there are dozens of hologram panels displaying magic calculations and results of the calculation.
Right now we are on the second floor trying to crack the puzzle using every methode posible, In this one week of research we failed to see any significant progress on completing puzzle the reason for this is because the magic circle is too complex to decipher in a short time and the other reason is reading it require us to synchronize our eyes and use God's Eyes constantly.
As of right now, we could only use it for 40 minutes with our current amount of mana.
"F*ck! This is insanely frustrating!!!" (Laila)
"Now... now... we shouldn't rush thing and overwork ourselves" (Ray)
Hearing my word Laila let out a sigh as she slumped on the sofa behind her
"Haaaa.. You're right, this task is very hard to do. The only way to translate those gibberish is by using the magic circle but to understand the magic circle we need to read the gibberish. We have tried casting the circle but only more gibberish came out" (Laila)
"Haaa...." (Ray)
Hearing her words sighed as I looked at the paper on the desk.
They have tried many thing to decipher it, they already copied the content and tried to look for language that are similar but it didn't work
They have asked Laila's mother for help, but she didn't even recognize what the symbol means. Even so just like Laila she was interested and was willing to help but can't because of her other research.
As I sit down I began to think of various method
'To read the symbol on Laila's view we need the circle, but to read the circle we need the symbol can't we just look at them both at the same time...' (Ray)
While thinking this, I suddenly got an idea
"Laila let's try to use one mind and look at the paper again" (Ray)
"...okay" (Laila)
As we use the skill, one of our eye's colors change with my left eye changing blue and Laila's right eye changing purple.
Doing this we finally saw a difference in the paper.
The scribbles that were unreadable before are now moving and becoming a part of the magic circle.
The magic circle that originally was complex became more complex, but this time there was a hint written in ancient spirit language.
Seeing this Laila quickly copy the symbol and ran towards on of the bookshelves in the room
"Found it!" (Laila)
She exclaimed as she took a big book from the shelf and started to translate the hint
The Hint said:
Soo.... I was supposed to write a hint because of that guy nagging.
If you are reading this, you are probably the 'chosen one' and Because you are the 'chosen one' you don't need any hints. It's definitely not because I'm too lazy to write one. Instead of wasting your time deciphering this go out and touch some grass maybe you will able to break the code if you just look at the paper for minutes around the years it tooks a high elf dies of old age.

After reading this sh- I mean hint my head started to throb as I sat back down and turned my hear to towared Laila.
Laila's expression now is smiling, but looking at her smile sends chills down my spine.
Unlike her usual smile, right now she looked like a devil incarnate.
"...one day when I met the guy who wrote this.... I F*CKIN FREEZE HIS HEAD!!" (Laila)
"Calm down, getting angry would not do anything Let's try to do what it said first then try again" (Ray)
"Do you think touching grass will actually help us?" (Laila)
"It's will at least help us to relax mentally" (Ray)
Listening to my words, she let out a long sigh as she slumped down on the sofa
"Haa.... f*ck" (Laila)
"I'll make us some tea" (Ray)
"Thanks" (Laila)
Saying so I went out from the research room and walks towards the kitchen
walking out I saw Mina coming with with tea on her hand walking towards me
"Good afternoon your highness I came with some tea~" (Mina)
She said as she cheerfully walk towards me
"I was just about to make some for me and Laila" (Ray)
"Prince... I told you to let us make them you don't need to do it by yourselves"(Mina)
"Ah right... I'll do that next time" (Ray)
"Okay~ Now we should go, we can't let the young miss wait for too long" (Mina)
"Okay, lets go" (Ray)
Walking back, we saw Laila watching some Utube video on the sofa.
"You're back already?" (Laila)
She said without glancing at us
"Mina already brought some tea so I came back" (Ray)
"I see..." (Laila)
While Mina is placing tea, I sat beside Laila naturally and take a glimpse of her phone
"Is that the academy?" (Ray)
"It is, we are going to attend the academy in 4 months. In that time I want to decipher the puzzle" (Laila)
"I hope we could" (Ray)
"At Least the time limit is one year" (Laila)
She said, as we started to drink the tea that was placed earlier.
Because there was no lead in deciphering the puzzle, we are mentally mor exhausted
After finishing the tea they both started to try deciphering the puzzle again
