Absolute Void

Looking at Laila's body tattered with wound and blood, I felt pain and regret seeping every part of my soul. If I knew this would happen, I would never let her be the bait.

Turning back into the body of a child, Laila is sleeping peacefully. With a gesture of my hand I teleported her outside my domain to where Mina is located.

Turning my gaze at Elizabeth, my eyes turned cold.

She is right now experiencing solitude where nothing exist, In my domain the concept of time didn't even exist.

Though I can't do this for long, but In this state I'm basically a god.

Teleporting Infront of the frozen Elizabeth, touching her forehead I restored a small portion of her consciousness.

Gaining her movement back, she glared at me and spoke

"It's you!! I should've expected this as soon as I saw her!" (Elizabeth)

Smiling coldly, I spoke

"So what do you think of my world?" (Rayford)

Looking around she saw nothing but the infinite void. She felt that she has been here for a long time but she know that she just got here.

Slightly panicking, she tried to use her mana only to find out that her mana has been completely sealed.

"It's no use, as soon as you entered this place you're already dead" (Rayford)

"That's ridiculous!! How is this possible for a mere human to do!?" (Elizabeth)

"It's possible because of you, what I did was make a special space that have nothing" (Rayford)

Walking around slightly, I was impressed with what I did as well. To make this space in the first place I needed an absurd amount of energy, and to maintain it I need even more energy.

The first thing I did to make this space is absorbing the energy around me, the source of that energy was the fight between two <SSS+> rank and my own energy. After creating the space, I apply the principal of <Absorption> that absorbed everything and convert it into mana.

The original plan was to extent the time limit of using this domain, but I didn't expect that <Absorption> could actually destroy the concept of time.

Satisfied by my analysis, I gripped my katana

-Click!

Unsheathing my katana, I cut both of her arm and legs before she could react. It's not like she could react in the first place, as she couldn't move

"Aghh!!!!" (Elizabeth)

Shrugging at her scream, I spoke

"Now tell me who unsealed you?" (Rayford)

"..." (Elizabeth)

"Not answering?" (Rayford)

Snorting, I spoke

"You don't need to answer yet, you had a lot of time" (Rayford)

Specifically, In this domain time is weirdly twisted and unstable. This domain would not last long, It managed to last this long because I change my perception of time thus allowing me to maintain this state for a bit longer. In reality, not even 1 second has passed.

'Two minutes at most' (Rayford)

Failing to further tweak the time, I fell in to thought.

Thinking about some thing interesting, I walked towards the frozen Elizabeth.

Seeing my gesture Elizabeth panicked for the first time after breaking her seal, her instinct is telling her that whatever I'm doing would kill her.

Unable to do anything, she screamed

"STOP!! DON'T COME NEAR ME!!! I'LL TELL YOU EVERY THING!!" (Elizabeth)

"Don't be scared, I just wanted to test something" (Rayford)

Touching her forehead, I spoke.

"Confess everything you know, and I will release you" (Rayford)

With that word, Her expression turned blank, and a scene where she confessed flow into my head.

Raising my brow, I muttered

"Interesting" (Rayford)

What I did was completely destroyed her concept of time, doing so I tricked her mind into thinking that she has been her for millions of years. In that long time, she confessed who help her unsealing process, why they target us, and what's their goals.

After she confessed everything she despaired realizing that I tricked her. Being in solitude for that long would definitely make a person go insane. I don't know exactly how long she is trapped there but I know her mind has completely broke.

Unsheathing my katana, I prepared to end her.

Suddenly, the system spoke

[Authority has been obtained]

[A gift has been granted]

[New option has been added]

[A Message is Sent]

Getting distracted a bit, I spoke

"Well I'll look at them after this" (Rayford)

Swinging my katana, Elizabeth body disintegrated into nothingness.

Staring at the spot where she recently was, I sighed

"I have 50 seconds left before" (Rayford)

In the remaining time, I decided to check the stuff the system gifted

Opening the system, I saw some changes in the system

Closing my eyes, I fell into a deep slumber.

Before the start of the fight

In a fortress, a red haired girl is staring anxiously at the creak in the sky. Beside her a blue haired girl also stood there silently contrary to her usual energetic behavior, her face is now very pale.

Looking at her friend pale expression, she spoke

"Don't worry, nothing will happen. This fortress is design specifically for this situation" (Rosaline)

Instead of relaxing, she became more scared

"The spirits are panicking.... I've never seen them react like this unless something really bad happened" (Lapiz)

Looking at the crack on the sky, Lapiz shivered

"Inside that crack is something beyond powerful, something in the realm of a demigod" (Lapiz)

Hearing her words, Rosaline panicked. She also know the danger that they are facing, it is not something a human could solve. Right now her sharp instinct screaming to the outmost limit.

Even if she wanted to run, a barrier is preventing her from doing so.

As she began to despair, the crack widen. Stepping out from the crack, a woman with white hair appeared. The energy she emit is very dreadful, even after reaching <D+> rank she would die instantly if expose by such aura.

Turning her gaze towards Lapiz, she saw her previously pale expression relaxed for some reason. Confuse by the sudden change she asked

"Lapiz are you okay" (Rosaline)

Smiling cheerfully, she spoke

"We are going to live!!" (Lapiz)

"Eh?" (Rosaline)

As she said that, the white haired woman started to gather energy preparing for an attack. At the sight, Rosaline grabbed Lapiz to take cover.

But instead of following her, she spoke

"Don't worry, many high spirits said that we are going to be safe" (Lapiz)

"What!! Are you crazy!?!" (Rosaline)

"Just watch" (Lapiz)

As she said that, the white haired woman shot her energy ball.

'Ah... Is this how we die?' (Rosaline)

Before the energy ball reach them, a powerful bright blue light flashed

-Boom!!

A powerful shockwave spread as the two energy collided, causing the sea to froze.

As the aftermath cleared, we saw another figure. She had silver hair and light blue eyes, the aura around her is very powerful yet noble.

'Woah...' (Rosaline)

"Pretty..." (Lapiz)

The silver haired figure looked very noble, she looked like a Goddess.

As both of them started to fight, the two children fixedly watch them. With their enhance sense the could see some glimpse of the fight. As the fight prolonged, they started to panic.

Even if they can't see the fight clearly, they could tell instinctively that the silver haired figure is losing.

Just as the white haired figure is about to finished her, they suddenly disappeared. In that instant the barrier collapse and the dreadful energy completely disappeared.

"What happened?" (Rosaline)

"I don't know, even the spirits seems not to know" (Lapiz)

"Do the spirit know who they are?" (Rosaline)

"I think so?" (Lapiz)

"Could you ask them?" (Rosaline)

"I'll try" (Lapiz)

Closing her eyes, dozen spirits started to appeared around her. Opening her eyes, she gazed at one of the spirits in shock.

Looking towards her friend, Lapiz spoke

"The spirits said that she is the human that helped them in past" (Lapiz)

"What? You meant that a human could go to the spirit realm?" (Rosaline)

"I don't know about that, but one of the spirit told me they are no longer human" (Lapiz)

"So what are they?" (Rosaline)

"I don't know, the spirits seems to be confuse as well. But for some reason the spirits seems to highly respect them" (Lapiz)

"I see..." (Rosaline)

With that, they started to discuss and speculate who is the mysterious figure that even made the prideful spirits treat with respect.

A/N: I'm going to write another one today after studying. Got a lot of stuff going on in school preventing me from constantly writing.

Ps: I am more active writing in the weekend, don't expect much in normal days.
