[DONT READ ITS DROPPED]

Yasu's parents died when he was 3 years old. He had been mistreated for a whole 15 years. Thus, he had never experienced family love and due to having become a cold person, he had no friends. The only thing that made him happy was reading manga, especially Fairy Tail. In his afterlife, Yasu was granted the ability to be transported to Fairy Tail. Follow Yasu's adventure in the new world where he would meet interesting people, fighting exciting battles, experiencing love, making friends, and living his life to the fullest. I don't know if it can be considered a "harem". This is a work of fiction. I don't own anything except for my main character and OC. The cover isn't mine. I couldn't find the artist. Enjoy ^^

A Man's Biggest Mistake

After lunch, Yasu and Erza departed from Fairy Tail. Natsu wanted to come, but he chose to look for Igneel with Happy. It was something more important to him. Gray didn't go with them. He went on another mission.

As expected of Erza, she had brought a lot of luggage with her. Because of that, Yasu proposed to stock them in his dimensional inventory. How could he let her carry all of that herself? Erza didn't believe he could put everything in it. But seeing her stuff vanish into thin air in an instant caused her to change her decision. Yasu regretted it later because Erza knowing that he could store many things, brought even more luggage. Yasu could only sight helplessly. But he still allowed her to abuse his storage. It wasn't a big deal anyway.

With so much baggage, Erza was in a good mood. They were currently walking in the city, ignoring the gaze of other people. Erza had put her arms around his.

"We will take the train to Oshibana and then, we will continue on feet. There, try this ice cream. I am sure you're gonna love it." After saying that, Erza presented him with the ice cream, she had just purchased.

Yasu loved tasty things, so he didn't hesitate to lick her ice cream. It tasted like strawberry and something else that he didn't know. But who cares? He loved it.

*Phwwwwht*

The ice-cream seller whistled. "Hey! You two! Stop being lovey-dovey in front of my shop! And you, always take care of your woman. Know that a man's biggest mistake is giving another man the opportunity to make his woman smile. Now, Shoo!"

Why did that old man say that? Even if he didn't, Yasu would still take care of Erza. As for other men, they won't ever have the opportunity because there was no way he will make her sad. Imagining someone else with Erza didn't sit well with him.

Yasu nodded his head in response. "You don't need to tell me that. Let's go Erza."

Erza didn't understand the meaning of the old man's words, "Alright."

Evening

Oshibana was a small town with similar buildings to Magnolia. In the center of the city was a railway station.

It had taken them around 5 hours to get to Oshibana by train. All that time, Yasu was cultivating his Spiritual Power. It was only at rank B, so if he could increase it to A, Yasu would be on par with the Soul Society's average captain.

Yasu wondered if he should teach Erza about Spiritual Power. Her strength would get a massive boost. She would also be safer at the same time...

Getting out of the railway station, Erza said, "It's already evening so we are gonna stay in this city for today. Come, we need to book a room."

On their way, Erza and Yasu heard a voice asking for help.

"Thief! Thief!"

A young kid was running away with a wallet in his hand. At a glance, anyone could discern that he was malnourished. The sight recalled Yasu of himself seeing the thief's attire.

Although Yasu didn't care about it, Erza immediately dragged him in pursuit of the kid. They discreetly followed him until he entered an abandoned building. It looked so fail that it could collapse at any moment.

Yasu knew what was going to happen. He hadn't read so many novels and manga for nothing. In the building, there were many people dressed in dirty clothes. Some were adults, while some were still young. One of the grown-ups was beating a child on the ground with his leg.

"Why should we help them? This is not our responsibility..."

Although Yasu had helped Erza, it was ONLY because he got to know her from the anime. So he kind of sympathized with her. He didn't understand why they would bother themselves to help other people...

*SLAP*

Interrupting his thought, Erza slapped him with tears in her eyes. A red handprint could be seen on his face.

His words reminded her of her childhood. She was enslaved by the cult and forced to build the Tower of Heaven. She and her friends had to help each other to survive. Her past situation was similar to the one before her eyes. These kids were "enslaved" to gather money for those thugs. She also could see that they were friends with each other. And here, he just said why they should help them?

"The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope."

Hearing her words, Yasu knew he had been foolish. He wasn't an emotionless person in the past. But, because of his uncle, he had become a ruthless person who only cared for his happiness...

("When did I become like that...")

"Sorry..." Erza said with a trembling voice.

One of the reasons she had slapped him was because she wanted to vent her frustration on him. Regrets filled Erza the moment her hand moved without her knowing. Because of her action, Yasu won't stay with her anymore...

("Now, these 2 months are gonna be lonely without him...")

The look on her face reminded him of the old man's words...

*FlashBack*

"Always take care of your woman. Know that a man's biggest mistake is giving another man the opportunity to make his woman smile."

He made her sad...And he had even told the ice cream's seller he didn't need the man's words...

Yasu leaned forward to hug Erza and said, "Thank you for your reminder...Also, know that I won't ever leave your side...So, you don't need to worry about that. Now, let's fill the world with hope, shall we?"
