Chapter 5 - The song of Healing

"Sky.." Huh?! Who is calling me?

"Sky!" I opened my eyes quickly and stod up fast. There was Sakura next to me and she was surprised by my reaction. "Are you okay?"

She had an anxious look on her face and she helped me up. "Yeah, I'm ok..." Sakura assisted me to get outfitted and I was like I bathed in sweat. I was in heat. I didn't calm myself down yet after that dream. "Sakura... can you get me some water, please.." She nodded and left the room and sat down. I looked upon the roof. The heat was too much. Ugh. where is this coming from now? Everything is against me. Suddenly someone opened the door. The king. What was he doing here?

"You are late, your training" He had a serious look like he used to have, but he noticed that I wasn't feeling well so he stepped closer and touched my forehead. "You are burning, what is the matter?"

His face wasn't serious anymore, instead, he was worried about me, then Sakura arrived. She welcomed the King and then hurried towards me. She gave me a cup of water, but the King took it instead. He grabbed my neck and poured the water into my mouth. He really cares about me a lot... why...? After while I've calmed down. I stood up and welcomed the King. "Thank you, my Lord and Sakura for helping me out" The King chuckled at me and I felt my face turning red. We followed the King to the arena and when we reached the Arena I saw Satsuki preparing swords and other weapons. I waved to him and he waved back with a smile. I jogged towards him and greeted him and he nodded. "Your training will start off to fight against a demon. A higher-level demon." I nodded and ran to the middle of the arena. The King and Sakura were still there and watched me. Suddenly a big demon appeared and ran towards me. The demon was very fast. "Kukimara, come!"

My Blue Lightning appeared with my sword and I blocked the demon from the attack, but the attack bounced towards Sakura and it did hit her! I chopped the demon in two halves and ran fast towards Sakura. The only thing I could think of was now... that I've hurt her! The King pulled her up and stared at her injury on her stomach. When I reached the two of them did I look at the King.

I touched her chest with my hand. The king stared at me confused, but my look said: "please trust me". The blood was dripping and I started.. to sing.

"Song of Healing lend me your power" My Blue bolts of lightning disappeared so did Kukimara. When I touched Sakura's chest again the wounds slowly disappeared. The King looked at me amazed, but I still looked down at Sakura. "What happened...my pain is all.. gone.." Sakura slowly stood up and she looked around. All the blood disappeared aswell and I collapsed again. "Sky!" they both said "Its.. alright.."

I touched my chest and tried to hide the pain. It was the... scar of the car accident. Does the pain me that they are trying to get me back? I slowly stood up and looked down. "Sakura I'm sorry. I just a monster.. I didn't figure out that attack would bounce away from Kukimara.."

She smiled at me and stood up. Then she ran towards me and hugged me. My face turned all red and I looked at the King. "You've saved me after all so let's just forget about it," did she said in a very happy tone. The King looked at me with an evil look and I knew what he meant. Jealousy.

I reacted and put Sakura down again. She still had a smile on her face, but I didn't forgive myself.. Will I even be able to protect the palace if I already did damage someone? The rest of the Training went well. The King did leave earlier and Sakura and Satsuki were still watching me while I fought against some demons. It really was boring. I could never go all-out. When the training was finished for today, Satsuki said that I became a day off tomorrow because of my condition. So I and Sakura left the Arena and It really was dark outside. Sakura walked me to my room and said that she'll bring my dinner soon. I nodded and went into the room. I closed the door and turned around. I could feel that my face became hotter. The King stood there in the middle of my room with his serious look. "My lord..?"
