- October 21 2022

"Nii-san! Wake up! It's time for breakfast!!" Kiyoshi, who's now 12 years old, spoke in the silent room. His small hands shook his brother's shoulders gently, successfully waking up the sleeping Kiyotaka, who's now 12.

Kiyotaka sat up and embraced Kiyoshi while still half-sleep. This has happened ever since he hugged Kiyoshi while sleeping. His sleeping condition got better because of his Kiyoshi and it became a habbit fir Kiyitaka to hug Kiyoshi every chance he gets.

"Wake up silly. We're gonna be late for breakfast. So wash up and let's go before we get punished" Kiyoshi said and waited for his twin's reply but he only got a hum. He sighed before reaching out and pinched his cheeks hard.

"Ouch. Stop it" Kiyotaka told Kiyoshi who was acting angry. Kiyotaka's expressionless face slowly broke the longer Kiyoshi kept pinching him. This made Kiyoshi feel bad so he stopped and gave a peck to that spot after muttering a 'sorry'. He was expecting Kiyotaka to be angry.

"My lips too"

Stunned, Kiyoshi stared at Kiyotaka's teasing eyes. The sight of a stunned Kiyoshi, who was slowly getting flustered, amused and delight filled Kiyotaka's chest. However his staring broke when a smaller hand covered his mouth.

"S-stop saying that baka!!" Kiyoshi exclaimed while blushing, amusing Kiyotaka more. Although it confuses him as to why was Kiyoshi still shy when it's wasn't his first kiss, he doesn't mind since he looks too adorable.

They got together two months ago. It was awkward and it felt wrong because they were brothers but slowly it began to feel right. They began to feel like they belong to each other's arms, like they can't handle if they separated and like they can't handle the other being with another. Well Kiyotaka feels the last one more than Kiyoshi.

"Why? It's not like its our first kiss"

"Yeah I know!! B-but..."

"But what??"

"...*chu~... There!! Now let's go!!" Kiyoshi said while blushing before pushing Kiyotaka, who was surprised, inside the small bathroom leaving Kiyoshi who was blushing so hard. He began pacing back and forth while Kiyotaka who snapped out of it, began taking a quick shower.

"He's so mean! He knows I'm still shy!!" Kiyoshi whined while fanning himself to try and cool down his heating face. Kiyotaka finished showering and began changing to one of his white uniform. When he walked out of the bathroom, he was met with a flusterd Kiyoshi, who was muttering made up curses to him, making him feel warm and happy. 

He walked silently towards the flustered Kiyoshi and hugged his small waist from behind, successfully stopping his cursing spree. The sight of a stunned Kiyoshi made him let out a small laugh, surprising himself and Kiyoshi. He immediately hid his face in Kiyoshi's neck, not giving Kiyoshi a chance to see his blushing cheeks. Unbeknowst to him, the tips of his ears and his nape is flushed red, making Kiyoshi smile from the adorable sight.

"Okay let's go now. We still need to go there for a daily checkup" Kiyoshi, who decided not to point it out, told Kiyotaka who nodded and dragged them out of their room towards the canteen. Expectedly, there was alsmot no one in the white hallways because they were all inside the canteen already.

"Nii-san. I have a belated gift for you!! You will recieve it before dinner!" Kiyoshi said sweetly while swinging their intertwined hands. The adorable sight of Kiyoshi made Kiyotaka smile and amused but he was still focused on what Kiyoshi was saying.

"A gift? What is it?" Kiyotaka asked, not knowing the concept of surprise gifts. This made Kiyoshi smile sadly before replacing it with his usual bright smile. He answered his twin's question with a cheery tone and vauge answer.

"It's gonna be a surprise, Taka-nii!! I know you'll love it since it will make your dream come true!!" Kiyoshi dropped a hint which Kiyotaka noticed and had an assumption already, but he still wanted to see for himself.

"I'll wait for it. If its coming from you it must be a memorable gift, bunny" Kiyotaka said with a miniscule smile. And there goes the nickname again. Kiyotaka still doesn't know why he chose that but whenever he called Kiyoshi that, he strangely felt satisfied.

"Great. Now let's hurry because I can smell the food slowly becoming faint!!" Kiyoshi exclaimed before sprinting towards the canteen, while Kiyotaka ran beside him. His eyes stares at the happy image of his beloved twin, unknowling carving the image to his memories.

When the two came to the canteen, they were immediately ushered to their respective seats and they were greeted by their balanced diet, making both sigh in disappintment.

"Psst. Nii-san. When we're out of here, I'll learn how to cook so I can cook you any food you would like to try!!" Kiyoshi whispered to Kiyotaka's ear, who let out a miniscule smile at what Kiyoshi said before nodding. He felt excited to try his twin's homecooked meals.

"Kiyotaka..." Kiyoshi called out to Kiyotaka who was confused and nervous because his twin never called him by his full name. So when he called him by his full name, he focused his entire attention to his twin and decided to listen.

"When we grow up...lets get married. Well that is if you still love me. I know I'll still love you when we grow up...even if it is wrong.." Kiyoshi confessed while blushing. Leaving Kiyotaka stunned before an unnoticeable blush appeared on his face.

"Of course. I'll still love you, Kiyoshi. Even if what we have is a sin, for me it is a blessing because if I don't have you I wouldn't have felt emotions. I wouldn't have a brother, a friend or a lover. You're my first in everything so I hope I'll be your first in everything too" Kiyotaka said while staring lovingly at Kiyoshi who blushed.

Their moment was interrupted when a scientist remindes them to continue their meals making Kiyotaka frown in frustration and Kiyoshi pout angrily. Kiyotaka who saw this adorable sight had an idea to make his lover happy.

He contemplated for a few minutes before kissing Kiyoshi's cheeks and contimued eating while trying to ignore Kiyoshi's surprised yet flustered stare. Unbeknowst to him, Kiyoshi saw his blushing cheeks and flushed ears and nape. The sight lifted Kiyoshi's spirits and began eating.

Below the table their hands continued to be intertwined with each other's.

- 𝐊𝐢𝐲𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐚'𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

Finally, my schedule for today is done. All that's left is meeting Kiyoshi, recieving his gift, eating dinner with him, taking a bath with him, chatting with him and sleeping with him.

I then remembered his adorable flustered face the moment we woke up  and his confession from this morning, washing away the exhaustion I had for the whole day. I wonder how he is right now, I hope his training isn't too hard.

"Attention. Subject 1012 is in Code Red! Every possible scientist in the facility gather in Lab 05, immediately!!"

The intercom rang through the white hallways. The dread I felt when I heard that specific subject number is unmeasurable. I ditched my plan to wait in our room and ran towards the mentioned Laboratory.

Badump      Badump      Badump

I can feel my own heartbeat while I kept running. Exhaustion wasn't the cause but dread. I remember that Code Red was always used when a testing subject is in danger or failing.

I pushed away the multiple Scientists who tried to pull me away from the nearing lab. I can't let them seperate me from Kiyoshi!! I don't want to believe that Kiyoshi is in danger.

However I froze when I entered the room. His whole figure trembling on the ground while his cries echoes through the walls of the lab. His face pale and sickly. His gentle expression is morphed in a painful expression. Blood seems to come out of his mouth and nose. The sight of his pained figure made me livid.

My vision turned red and my body moved in instinct. Which was to 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 whoever hurt Kiyoshi but multiple scientists pulled me away, only for them to get punched by me but more came and tried to pull me away.

"LET GO OF ME!! WHAT DID YOU DO TO KIYOSHI!! LET GO!!" I yelled at them, in hopes to intimidate them which worked and I used it to pull myself away from them and ran to Kiyoshi's side. I hugged his trembling body, his cries ceased and turned into whimpers but his trembling didnt.

"Kiyoshi...wh-what happened...DO SOMETHING YOU F*CKING IDIOTS!! STABILIZE HIM!! SAVE HIM!!" I yelled at those scientists who did nothing but write on their clipboard while the others tried to try to find something.

I gritted my teeth and I felt my eyes sting. For the second time, I felt sad and emotional because of Kiyoshi. I knew I couldnt do anything without knowing what is happening to him but I know that even if I ask them, they wont tell me because of confidentiality.

"𝑵𝒊𝒊-𝒔𝒂𝒏...𝒊𝒕 𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒔...𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒊𝒕 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑...𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒔...𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑 𝒎𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆" Kiyoshi whispered with his strained voice from surpressing his cries of pain, making me feel more useless. I hugged him, in hopes to atleast ease his pain...a desperate attempt to do something.

"𝑵𝒊𝒊-𝒔𝒂𝒏...𝒏𝒊𝒊-𝒔𝒂𝒏...𝒏𝒊𝒊-𝒔𝒂𝒏...𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆...𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆....𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆...𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒆...𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆" I heard Kiyoshi said to me, successfully making my eyes sting more and soon I felt wet stains ran down my face. I began mumbling 'no', denying what he says since thats not what I want.

'No. Don't say that! I want to live and be free with you!! Don't leave me!! Please..you promised me...please...please...'

Suddenly I felt his trembling ceased, his whimpers gone and his bleeding stopped. I hugged him tighter knowing that he was dead. I didn't want to look at him. I don't want to look at his once bright and innocent eyes that became  lifeless. His once grinning lips now pale.

Suddenly, I felt a sting on my nape and I felt my body became weak. My mind became hazy and soon I felt my body hit the cold tiled floors. I turned my head and saw my Father with a disappointed look as he stared at somewhere near me. I turned my head with my remaining strength and there I saw Kiyoshi, dead. However I was surprised to see his face.

I expected to see his lifeless eyes, frowned brows from the pain, and pale lips to be curved downwards but he had his eyes closed, his brows is relaxed and his pale lips formed into a peaceful smile. If it wasn't for his cold temperature, his pale skin, his bloody figure and his pained figure from earlier, I would have thought that he was sleeping while dreaming of something good.

'....I wonder....what did you think of, for you to have that peaceful expression....I wish I would have gone with you...'

The sight of his dead peaceful face was the last thing I saw before my vision became completely black.

- 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐎𝐕

Atsuomi, Kiyotaka's Father, looked at his youngest son in disappointment. Not only did his scientific experiment failed but his main experiment wasn't even completed.

However thankfully, his oldest son was able to achieve the result he wanted. Which was for him to be broken down by emotions to the point of numbness and by the looks of the footage, Kiyotaka was able to unlock a ferocious side of him which he needed to control immediately.

"Dispose of the body and take Kiyotaka at his room. Clean up any remains of this failure's presence. Change his entire roon the way it was before this failure came. Do it now" Atsuomi ordered the scientist while he put back the tranquilizing syringe he injected to Kiyotaka before walking back to his office.

The scientists immediately did what was ordered. Kiyotaka was taken to his room, followed by other scientists to clean up. Meanwhile a scientist carried Kiyoshi's corpse to the place where they dispose of the corpses of the children.

He sighed in disgust once he smelled the scent of rotting corpse before throwing Kiyoshi's body on the small pile. He looked at Kiyoshi's body one last time before turning back.

"I guess your body couldn't handle the serum I secretly injected in you. Such a shame. Well there is next time.." The scientist muttered himself, he grabbed something in his pocket and when he took it out it was a small bottle with blue liquid with a symbol Ω on the label.

- October 21 2023 || 5:40 pm ||

Inside an empty room lays a sleeping male. His still form then began trembling before his eyes snapped wide open. His shaky gaze looked at the ceiling before he remembered his dream making him sit up in haste. He was about to call out when he saw his room.

It was empty, cold, and scented with cleaning detergent. Meaning his room had been cleaned. He then looked at his bed and noticed that it became smaller, enough only to fit him. The signs broke his heart.

Kiyotaka couldn't believe it. His beloved Kiyoshi was gone. Every trace of him was gone. His pillow, his uniforms, his arts, his scent. Everything was gone. Like he didn't exist to begin with.

The silence soon broke as he started crying. He couldn't take it. He wanted him back. Back by his side. Smiling at him. Hugging him. Kissing him. He already missed him so much that he wanted to die.

'Why did he have to die?!...I want him back...please...I'll do anything just to have him back...Anything...give him back please...we still didn't do anything we dreamt about!!...It hurts...my chest hurts...Kiyoshi...Kiyoshi...please come back....I need you....please"

Kiyotaka never thought that he would have feel many things when he met Kiyoshi. He didn't thought that he would fall in love. And he wouldn't have thought that he would experience what others called a heart break.

Kiyotaka wanted to the feelings to disappear but he didn't want to forget loving Kiyoshi, his sun, his saviour and his other half.

His cries soon died down but his heart still felt the same, maybe even worse. However before he could cry once more, he suddenly felt something on his chest. He immediately took it out and saw that it was the handmade necklace Kiyoshi gave to him on their 10th birthday.

The necklace was sloppy but decent and its parts was stolen from the scientists but the thought that Kiyoshi worked hard to make it into a necklace, moved Kiyotaka's heart.

This time, the sight of his necklace gave Kiyotaka a feeling of Kiyoshi being with him, slightly improving his mood. Nowvthat he was calm, he remembered what Kiyoshi told him earlier. The gift and his last wish.

Before he could think further, a loud explosion happened and alarms began ringing. He was supposed to be confused however deep inside he felt like this was Kiyoshi's gift. How? He don't know.

He immediately walked to his door only to find it locked. He punched his hand onto it to vent his anger. Regretting breaking down and getting drugged. He felt bad for wasting the chance Kiyoshi gave him. However he soon calmed down as he began thinking of a way to escape next time.

That was how Kiyotaka spent his time in the White Room without Kiyoshi. He kept planning on when to escape and where would he hide and live his life free like Kiyoshi would have wanted him to.
