Chapter 2 - Miracles can Happen (2)

"Are you unable to speak, Julio?"

I felt uncomfortable and looked away shy. Aroux still stared at me while I looked away. I grabbed my notebook and wrote "I just don't like to speak" and gave it to Aroux. "My Apologies.." We both looked away from each other as we heard the bell ring. "What classes do you have next?" He asked me in a cheerful tone. I took the notebook and wrote "Math" as he smiled "I have math too! Let's go" After leaving the empty classroom my anxiety came again. The hallway was crowded and it was full of voices, but you really couldn't understand what they were saying. Aroux noticed my anxiety and grabbed my hand as he dragged me through all the students. As we reached my locker he let go of my hand again. I nodded uneasily as he smirked at me. "I'll meet Ya at the classroom" He walked past me as I turned around, but he was already gone. "Did he disappear that fast? Maybe it's just my imagination.." I believed

The rest of the day was just boring lessons and I never pay attention in class. I always study at home and also do have good grades. After closing my locker I saw noticed someone was staring at me. After turning around I saw Aroux's face. His was less than a few inches away from mine. I became uneasy and tried to go back, but then I noticed the locker behind me. Aroux smiled at me and stepped back. "My apologies, wanna walk home together? I nodded a little and grabbed my bag. I had this strange feeling near Aroux, I couldn't describe it, but just something seemed odd near him. Aroux looked at me confused while I looked on the ground. "Are you alright, Julio?" I realized that I did over-think things and nodded at him as a smiled a little. He grabbed my hand gently and dragged me out of the building. After reaching the exit we both saw the beautiful Sunset over the lake near the university. The cherry trees flowered and a little wind passed us. We both looked up into the sky and the next few minutes were silent, but Aroux Brooke the silence. "Hey... Do you believe in supernatural things?" I turned my face to him as he looked away. I took my notebook and wrote: "What do you mean?" He became a little silent again. "I mean... like demons and stuff.. ya know?" The wind became colder and the sun went down. I switched the page and wrote again. "I think they exist just like ghost.. maybe sounds a little odd, but I do" He looked at me stunned and had a big smile on his face. "I'm glad I'm not alone. Should we get going? I can give a drive home" I nodded a little as he showed me the way to his car. It was a big black car, but I was unsure what car it was. We both entered the car without saying a word. I looked out of the window as he started to drive, but I couldn't shake off that weird feeling I had. He drove by the bridge as he suddenly deactivated the car. I had a questioned face as he told me to follow him. He showed me a beautiful place. It was an old bridge I never knew about. "It's beautiful isn't it?"

The next few minutes we're silent again. Suddenly I felt Aroux behind me as he pushed me off the bridge. The last words I heard were "I'm so sorry, Julio.." and then it was all black. It was cold... It was hot... It was painful...
