The air vibrated with an explosion of Nen, the amount of Nen had not changed but the pure power of the move made the building shake. Jett's hair was defying gravity his eyes had also turned a shade of dark blue brightening the inky darkness of his eyes. In that state, you could see emotions return to his face. An image of when he first saw Jett flashes in Gon's mind. 

Killua on the other hand felt a sense of danger coming from Jett, he knew full well that Jett would not attack him, so he had no idea why he was feeling danger. His brows furrow at the unsensible feeling. He now noticed the feeling was unnatural, but for now, he put it out of his mind and focused on the fight that was going on.

Jett's dark blue Nen burned like a wildfire but that wasn't how Jett wanted his Nen to be controlled. Jett let out a breath and the Nen started to shrink into his body a radiant outline of dark blue highlighted Jett's body. Without warning Jett moved, and an explosion of air almost sent Killua and Gon flying into the wall. They buried their feet into the floor stopping themselves from being blown away. 

Holt didn't get taken by surprise this time, he had noticed the kid always started with a fast attack aiming to kill him in one move, with all his Nen he focused on defense protecting his vitals. Just like he had thought an enormous force landed on his stomach, the force lifted him into the air sending him crashing through the building. For a small second, he had blacked out and when he regained consciousness he saw the building was becoming smaller under him.

"Ha-ha, I told you, boy, you were too arrogant, is going to take more than one punch to take me down," the man shouted unbothered by the height he was flying. 

"Then let me change what I said, I will kill you in the first combo," the man, Holt heard the voice coming from low inside the building. 

"I know you're going to attack me as soon as I land but I'll be ready, I'm not going to just let you kill me," Holt said. 

"I don't need to wait for you to come to me, I'll go to you, is about time I also show my friends the second stage of my flash step technique," he heard the boy say, not knowing what he was talking about but could infer from context that it could be about that fast moving technique he was able to do. 

He was looking into the darkness of the building waiting, expecting something to happen. What he didn't expect was for the boy to rush into the air passing him even higher than him. "Stupid boy you're now the perfect target," Holt said. 

"That's what you think," Jett locked down and saw Gon and Killua had moved out of the building and to the next building over like he had told them when he was with them a second ago. 

Jett straightened himself upside down, he bent his knees as if he was going to make a jump, which would have been impossible in mid-air. To three people surprised at the soles of Jett's feet, the air ripples like a stone hitting a lake. He was then gone from the spot in the air, he appeared a second later right on top of the man, he had moved so fast he was untrackable.

"Kenitic Step," Jet said which only the man Holt was able to hear. Gon and Killua only saw Jett arrive three feet above the man then softly touch the man with his feet as if just taking a step.

"Is that all ha-ha you wanted to defeat me with just that!" the man said only to feel the air rush around him. He then felt an unstoppable force take over his body the last thing he heard was an explosion going off around him.

From Gon and Killua's point of view, they saw Jett touch the man with his foot, and for the first few seconds nothing happened, then the air exploded around the man, leaving a trail of visible air on his path to the building below. Gon and Killua covered their eyes as the building started to crumble in front of them picking up dust. The sound was extremely loud and it attracted a lot of attention they could hear police sirens in the distance getting closer. After everything settled down they could see Jett jumping in the air to them as if stepping in platforms made of air.

"Jett, that was amazing how did you do that? How are you stepping in the air like that teach me!" Gon shouted jumping in the air.

"Is the second step of the flash step technique all you have to do is do the same but in the air," Jett replies to Gon.

"What was that technique at the end?" Killua question.

"It is a technique I created by applying the last step of the flash step to a person. You can use it if you can recreate it," Jett said.

"What was that all about, is someone after you Jett?" Gon asked.

"Ah, yeah," Jett said looking away from Gon.

"Spill it, you're going to ask us for help right, we're friends right?" Killua said mockingly.

"Shut up you, but yeah we are friends," Jett said to Killua with a soft smile on his face. Killua turned around really quick clutching his hand over his heart.

'What was that feeling just now, it can't be that I lii...Jett' Killua thought comically grabbing his head as if screaming into the air. Gon and Jett didn't pay attention to him and were talking about what Jett had been investigating.

"I noticed my body was different from others, somehow I'm able to use two types of Nen without each Nen affecting one another even if someone used a form of Nen seal on me my other type of Nen would not be affected. I noticed that I could switch between the two Nen types at will, when I use one Nen type one section of the mark would glow," Jett explained pulling his shirt down, to show Gon. Gon and Killua who had now snapped out of the moment he was in looked at Jett's shoulder. They could see a dark helix mark on his shoulder that was glowing a red color like heated iron. The strange thing was that only one side of the helix was active while the other only looked normal.

"Is that why that man was after you?" Gon asked.

"Yeah," Jett said simply.

"We heard part of the conversation, it sounded like he had been hunting people of your clan," Killua said with a thoughtful look on his face.

"Yes, when I got my license I searched the hunter website to see if they had any information on the mark, all I could find was that the mark belonged to a type of clan, nothing else was written on it," Jett said.

"So how did they find you?" Killua asked.

"Wait I can't follow guys, can you explain again," Gon said with his eyes circling in a dizzy state.

"To put it in simpler terms, someone was somehow able to know I was searching for information on the mark on my shoulder, and for some reason, they sent someone to capture me because of it," Jett said.

"and from what we heard, or from what you said they are going to send more people after you," Killua added.

"Yes, the next person could be stronger than the guy I just beat, or they could send more than one person. I..." Jett was interrupted by Gon.

"Then all we have to do is beat them, right?" Gon said punching his hand with enthusiasm. He had a smile on his face that said that he couldn't wait for the fight.

"What now?' Killua asked.

"I don't know, I don't need to stay in the battle arena anymore," Jett said looking at the towering building in the distance.

"I don't have anything to do in the arena either, and Gon already reached his objective, I know, how about if we go to Gon's place," Killua said.

"Seriously?" Gon said at his side.

"Yeah. I would like to meet Mito-san," Killua added.

"I don't know, what if whoever is after me comes while we're in Whale Island?" Jett added his point of view.

"Then we hid our tracks until we had to go to York Shin, Hisoka was able to track us only because of the hunter license, if they sent someone after you then..." Killua was explaining the plan but Jett interrupted.

"NO, I was just going back to being afraid thinking that something could happen to you guys of Mito-san. I was being stupid all over again, if they do come I'll be waiting, when that time comes then they should be ready to die..." Jett said the dark in his eyes turning darker. Gon stared at Jett with a complex expression, Killua only had a passive look on his face.

"Plus what do I have to be afraid of when I have you two at my side, right?" Jett said with a cheeky smile.

"Yeah!" Gon shouted.

"What are you saying," Killua said turning slightly red.

"Ha-ha-ha," the three started laughing.

"By the way Killua how long are you planning on staying without a shirt?" Jett said looking at Killua's well-built body.

"Who's the one that tore my shirt off!' said Killua in a growl.

"Hey I was saving your life," Jett retorted walking away.

"Come on guys don't fight, neh><" Gon said running after them with a smile. < p>
