UNEASY

EROS' POV

As soon as we finished eating dinner, mom suggested watching a movie in our living room because she bought some new CDs that she wanted to watch with us. We agreed and now are watching it all together on our sofa.

I kept on stealing glances at Ellis because he's been quiet all this time even at dinner, I don't know if I did something that made him like this, or is it because I didn't tell him that I am going to be coming home. But he seems very upset about it.

"Do you like the movie, Ellis?" Mom asked.

He nodded and keeps on eating the bowl of popcorn topped with powdered cheese.

"The leading lady is really strong here." Mom shares and keeps smiling at the screen.

Seeing mom like this makes me happy and I want her to stay like this. And of course, asking us to watch a movie together, makes me proud that she can do this with us even if she has worked and is stressed out from that.
