[GRIFFIN'S POV]

Somehow, I left Von without clearing more of his questions because there are things that he's confused about but for me, it is clear that we are done and what we have before is done and gone. We only have our memories and nothing more.

Ten years ago was when I was hoping that he will come back and stay with me, but he chose his career over mine. 

I respected his decision and I want what's best for him because I want him to be happy. We are almost perfect, our families have known each other and we are legally open to them.

I thought things are perfect but then, it fell when he decided to break up with me and fly to the US to study abroad and continue his goals.

Without me.

I tried to persuade him to not break up with me, instead, choose to have a long-distance relationship and we can work things out. But he did not choose that, because it will never work.
