9 Ch.9

[2 days later.]

"Jake! Finn! I am heading out! I'll be back by night, hopefully!" I said and got an Okay from the duo. I left the treehouse and started walking over to where I knew he would be.

Yes 'He'. I plan to pay a visit to the Shadow of a man that was once called Simon Petrakov. Why? Cause I feel like it.

I get to the Ice Kingdom relatively quickly, it was that far away from the treehouse. I walked into the snow and started my journey to the Ice Kings castle, home? I don't know what to call it.

I eventually get annoyed of walking and summon my Earth Dragon and fly to the location.

I honestly didn't have a plan for what I was going to do but I wanted to test something. Something nobody tried to do but was slightly touched on in the show.

I arrived at a large mountain of Ice and immediately recognised it as ice Kings place. I fly up to the window and will my dragon to wait at the bottom of the mountain after I jumped into said window.

I looked around the room and see the classic Ice king house. Cage for the kidnapped princesses, a training kit that he doesn't use. And a chair.

But soon he walks in, I immediately knew it was him, I mean who else is blue has a big nose and a santa beard?

"Who are you?" He says in the Iconic Ice kings voice. Before He could continue my hand whips out and a chain of steel wraps around his crown and I catch it in my grip.

I looked down at the Wishing Crown or just The Crown now.. Ice King widens his eyes at the unexpected move and I see him touch his head to prove if I actually took his Crown.

"Well Simon, Looks like ya can't do shit without this?" I said waving the Crown in front of him from the other side of the room.

He grits his teeth and points his skinny finger at me, "Give me back my Crown! And who is Simon my name Is Ice King!" He exclaimed and attempted to lunge at me however I simply side stepped his weak attempt. Looks like without his crown he doesn't have his boosted strength..

He grimaced as his nose hit off the hard ground. "Ugh." He groaned rubbing his nose. Unexpectedly I toss his crown out the window, his eyes widened comically.

But right as the Crown left the building my Dragon sweeped over and grab it. It then started to fly in the opposite direction of Ice King.

I always wondered why in the show they didn't just take the crown as far away from Simon as possible because the longer the distance the crown is away from Simon the less he looks like Ice King.

My Dragon is pretty fast so the effect was immediate. Ice Kings nose shrunk, his hair filled in on the bald spot and his teeth started to dull.

"What are you doing with my Crown!?" He shouts and rushes to the window.

I however wrap my chain around him and make it so he can't move.

He just angrily stares at me as he Slowly starts to change. Soon he looked like what he did when he was with Marceline. His shin wasn't as blue and his eyes started to gain something, remembrance.

But then it happened he started to Cough like he was sick.

Actually he had no beard and was laying on the ground, he still had blue skin and a slightly pointed nose but he looked up at me with urgency.

"I know what you are trying to do.." he said looking at me with intelligence in his eyes that I didn't see in his crazy ones.

"It won't work, I'll die before I turn back." He said coughing more. "The Crown is keeping me alive." He said looking up at me, "I dont know why you are trying to turn me back but this will only kill me." He said and his cheek bones started to sink in and he started to look older, not in the way Ice King did but dying old.

I looked at him with guilt in my eyes, "I'm sorry Simon." I said and willed my Dragon to return. So that's why. Because without the crown he would die. That makes sense when you think about it.

When Simon lost his magic he was fine at first but was slowly dying because of the radiation of the Mushroom bomb. So he wanted to apologise to Betty and such.

Simon smiled bitterly, "It's okay. But hey?" He started and I nodded listening, "Can you make sure I don't hurt anyone?" He asked with begging eyes. "You have my word Simon." He smiles and his beard slowly grew back and his nose came back and he slowly started to forget and become Ice King again.

10 minutes later the Crown was back in my hands. I looked at it and then looked at Simo- no Ice King and tossed the crown to him and left on the earth dragon.

Once I was far away I dissipated the chains allowing Ice King to get his crown that I set just arms length from him.

I flew back with a sad expression.

I need to help him, help him but in a way that he benefits…

Wait..

The Winter King… He transferred his madness over to bubblegum, but it doesn't need to be bubblegum..

I need to look into this…. Maybe that Golem has a use afterall…

I shake my head. I can deal with this later now that I at least have a basic plan, I need to find a way to transfer his crazy to another person..

This is going to be hard work isn't it? Sigh.. I miss only being on a island sometimes.. meh what am I kidding this shit is so cool I wouldn't change it if I was giving the chance!

I arrived at Finn and Jake's treehouse and went straight to bed.. What? I like my Naps!
