End of Emma!

"Ah, how I've been waiting for the bitch brigade to arrive," Emma smirked, but before she could say anything else, Kotone's fist slammed into her face.

"Where's my boyfriend?!" Kotone roared, only to receive an answer from a comfortingly familiar voice.

"I'm right here Kotone," Fanzer called out from atop of the stairs, lightly panting as he spoke.

"I'm here too," Jumin grinned, holding up a peace sign to his shocked girlfriend.

This looked to be the end of this endeavor.

However, in a situation like this one, Emma's desire to keep Fanzer only grew.

In an instant, Emma rose from her spot and slammed Asami's head into the ground, surprising Kazane and Kotone, who couldn't help but let down her guard in Fanzer's presence.

Before even the experienced Kazane could react, Emma quickly stabbed her in her thighs with two separate knives and then buried a knife into the woman's stomach.

"H-Huh?" After an instant, there was only Emma and Kotone, and the energy of the area became tense and thick.

There was a single moment of silence before everything began happening at once.

Kotone tried to get to Fanzer and Jumin, her original goal of retrieving Fanzer and Jumin not fading from her mind despite what happened to her mother or Asami. Jumin was quick to try and get to Asami, whether or not it could've put him in a possibly dangerous situation. Fanzer was the fastest to analyze the scene, and he was trying to get Kotone out of harm's way as well as make sure that Kazane was okay.

Emma was the only one in the hectic situation that benefitted from it fully. Without a bit of hesitation, Emma rushed at Kotone and tried to plunge a knife into her heart.

Kotone was quick to respond, but not quick enough to completely avoid the attack. Emma's knife, a fourth one after the three Kazane had taken, barely scratched Kotone's cheek, drawing just a tad bit of blood.

It the time Kotone had to dodge, Jumin had already traveled to the unconscious Asami's side, picking her up and gesturing for Fanzer to help Kazane. However, Fanzer was already on it, helping the injured Kazane stand on her feet.

Surprisingly, she wasn't unconscious just yet. As blood poured from her mouth, she tried to say something to Kotone, but the words just wouldn't come out. Fanzer understood the situation though, so he said it for her.

"Kotone, kick that bitch's ass," Fanzer told her, a hatred for Emma burning in his eyes as he saw what she did to Kazane, his almost mother-in-law. Just as he finished, he and Jumin began traveling down the stairs of the tower, trying to make sure Kotone could handle the situation on her own.

"No no no! You don't get to take my sweetie!" Emma yelled, completely ignoring Kotone as she tried to attack the already injured Kazane.

"Get the fuck away from my boyfriend!" Kotone was far faster than Emma though. She was there a second faster to protect her mother and Fanzer, seeing as Jumin and Asami began going down first.

Kotone brutally kicked Emma in her stomach, sending her sprawling on her back from the pain.

"Go, my beautiful boyfriend. I promise you, she won't be a problem for you anymore," Kotone spoke to Fanzer so softly, grabbing the sides of his face and giving him a light kiss.

She wanted to stay there for hours and hours, kissing him and making a show out of it for Emma, but she knew that wasn't much of an option.

Fanzer was a bit worried by her ominous statement, but he trusted her regardless. Kotone said one more thing before she gave Emma her full attention.

"And don't give that old hag too much attention. She's tougher than I am, so she's just acting weak so you have to hold her," Kotone spoke sharply, causing the acting Kazane to flinch in Fanzer's arms.

"I... uh... oooh, I'm in so much pain.... Help me, Fanzer," Kazane acted horribly, putting her hand on her various knife wounds. Her smile, however, was saying something far different than her words. It was the awkward smile of a person who was caught right in their crime.

Her actions received a small sigh from Kotone, "Fine. That's the least I can give you for letting me fight this bitch."

Kazane broke out into giggles as she savored every bit of the situation that she could.

The interaction between the mother and the daughter lifted a bit of the fear that was settling on Fanzer's heart, bringing a smile to his face.

Emma began to slowly get up, a deep, almost animalistic growl in her voice.

"I'll kill you, you rancid cow!" Emma roared, throwing another knife towards Kotone, who parried it without a second thought.

"Go. I'll be down right after you," Kotone told Fanzer and Kazane, who were quick to start stumbling down the stairs.

"No no no no no no no no! You don't get to take him away!" Emma pulled parts of her hair out and leapt at Kotone with a roar.

This time, it was surprisingly fast. It was so fast that it caught Kotone off guard, sending her spiraling into a wall. Instead of stopping there though, she grabbed Kotone's head and quickly slammed it into the wall.

"Die!" Emma cursed, the wall beginning to crumble under the consistent blows it was dealing with.

Kotone tried pushing Emma away, but her efforts were futile. Emma was far too motivated all the sudden to be stopped.

Kotone did however, succeed in causing Emma to stop her assault for a moment. Rather than trying to talk to her aggressor, Kotone took the moment to shove her open palm into the backside of Emma's elbow, popping the bone out of place in an effort to completely break Emma's arm.

Emma didn't even retreat from Kotone as she tried to break her arm. Emma just continued to mindlessly pound Kotone's head into the wall, her pace not slowing down at all.

Kotone's leg came up and tapped the back of Emma's knees, causing her strong and surprisingly sturdy position to crumble. Kotone didn't waste such an opportunity, and even with blood dripping down her face, she pulled out a knife and struck directly towards Emma's heart, the goal of killing in her mind.

Her knife stopped short as Emma put her hand in the way, causing Kotone's knife to stab directly through her hand.

"You're dead, bitch," Emma grinned madly as the wall that Kotone was slammed into began to crumble.

Slightly confused, Kotone looked behind herself. Her eyes slightly widened as she saw it.

On the other side of the wall were several different strong guards there, waiting for the chance to fight Kotone.

Emma kicked Kottone though the wall, towards the center of the group before getting up and charging towards Kotone, not giving her a single moment to rest.

"Hey, isn't it odd how little guards there were on the way here?" Jumin questioned as the four got to the bottom floor. They were so close to the exit, but an odd feeling bugged Fanzer.

"This is a really weird. It's good for us but...." Just as Fanzer's voice began trailing off, there were sounds of many, many more feet than the group wanted to hear. There were easily over 100 different guards, possibly even two hundred, all waiting to stop the group from escaping.

"What's.... going on?" Asami slowly stirred to life, the situation beginning to become clear to her as she looked around.

"We're surrounded," Kazane let out a light sigh, as if the situation wasn't much of a worrying one. She was still acting like things were extremely nonchalant, like she didn't have to worry about a single thing.

"Yeah, and my bad feeling still isn't gone," Fanzer added, causing Kazane to sigh and start to walk on her own. She had a slight sway to her step, but she was otherwise fine with standing on her own.

"Wait, Kazane...!" Fanzer tried to stop Kazane, but she spoke up in a serious tone.

"Follow your gut feeling. We'll handle things down here," Kazane spoke up, pulling the three knives out of her body as if they were nothing important to her.

"Yeah...." Asami slowly got off Jumin's back, slowly putting her feet on the ground and standing on her own. She needed Jumin's help for a moment, but she was able to stand on her own after a moment.

"We've got this handled," Asami told Fanzer as she looked out towards the many enemies all around.

"Thank you, guys. I'll be back!" Fanzer turned around and began rushing back up the stairs, leaving Jumin, Asami, and Kazane to deal with the onslaught of guards.

"Jumin, just sit this one out," Asami told her boyfriend, knowing that she wouldn't forgive herself if Jumin was hurt in a situation like this one.

Jumin was silent for a moment before shaking his head and stepping forward.

"No, right now, I'll fight by your side," He spoke confidently as he held his hand out to Kazane, hoping she'd pass him a knife, and gladly, she did.

"I had to just watch my girlfriend's head get slammed into the ground and chose to walk away. I get that the macho 'I'm a man so I have to protect my girlfriend,' idea isn't really one in our relationship, so at least let me fight with you," Jumin asked, preparing himself as best as he could to fight against such a high number of enemies.

"Damn it, why would you even ask in a situation like this one? It's not like I can decline anyways," Asami chuckled, readying herself to fight.

"Aww, you two are certainly delectable. But don't worry, I'll be showing you the ropes today," Kazane grinned wickedly as a natural bloodlust came out of her body, surprising her friends and foes alike.

"I can't kill you, but I promise, I'll get you pretty damn close to meeting your maker," Kazane chuckled darkly, but a few of the guards mustered up the courage to speak.

"Miss Emma will pay us five times as much for the next month if we catch these bastards! Let's do this!" A guard roared, and the hesitation of the other guards vanished as their morale skyrocketed.

"That's good. It would be boring if you were all so scared!" Kazane rushed towards her many enemies with a large smile on her face.

"Stay close to me Jumin!" Asami yelled as the guards began to surround her and Jumin.

"I've got it! Let's handle these bastards!" Jumin yelled, gripping tightly on Kazane's knife.

Fanzer rushed up the stairs of the Shinra Corporation tower without stopping, but unfortunately, he ran into some problems of his own.

A guard. A singular guard.

"Hey, don't move!" The guard yelled at Fanzer, clearly trying to capture him.

It was at this moment, Fanzer thought something.

"If I can't even handle one of these guys, will I be able to even help Kotone out?"

He knew that he wouldn't be able to do anything but put himself in danger if he wasn't strong enough to deal with even one guard.

Slowly putting up his fists, Fanzer made his position very clear to the guard.

"Tch, you damn brat!" The guard ran up to Fanzer, trying to punch him and presumably, knock him out.

As the guard's fist flew towards Fanzer's face he took a deep breath and closed his eyes. Without his sight, he didn't hesitate, he moved his head to the left and dodged the guard's punch.

Before the guard could do anything else, Fanzer put all his energy into his fist and slammed his fist into the guard's nose, breaking his aggressor's nose and sending them spriraling into the ground.

He took a few deep breaths as he looked at his hand, feeling a dull stinging pain unlike anything else he'd experienced before.

"That was troubling. Still, I've got shit to be doing!" Fanzer mentally cursed, turning back towards the stair and continuing to run to the top.

He wished the guard he hit was unconscious, but his wishes were not granted. Behind himself were three guards, quickly gaining on him. He knew that bringing them to the top wasn't useful to Kotone, so with a tired huff, Fanzer turned to face the three guards.

"You bastard, I'll just kill―" Fanzer didn't even give the guard the time to speak, firmly planting his foot into the guard's face. The other two guards were confused as to what was happening, and Fanzer took the confusion and used it.

With a jump that was stupidly dangerous, Fanzer planted both his feet into the faces of the guards, knocking them down the flight of stairs, just like the first guard. Fanzer held onto the rail of the staircase, causing his back to slam into the stairs but stopping him from sliding down otherwise.

With a light groan, Fanzer got up and continued to scale the tower, eventually getting to the floor Kotone should've been on.

Even though his heart was pounding in his ears, even though his body screamed for him to stop, he pushed forward.

He opened the door in front of himself and heard panting in the distance. He quickly ran towards it to see Kotone on top of Emma, a knife to her neck.

Several different guards laid on the ground, unconscious.

Kotone was pushing her knife deeper and deeper into an almost excited looking Emma. Emma's eyes were egging Kotone on, forcing her to end the situation without hesitation.

"W-Wait!" Fanzer's voice was quiet, a side-effect of running up so many flights of stairs and encountering such a scary situation.

Kotonne looked over to him with wide eyes as she was pulled back from the situation. She tried so hard to not kill anyone, but when things became tough, her reaction was to make sure that her enemies were dead and gone for good.

The only reason why she was so adamant about killing was for Fanzer's sake, not wanting to put any baggage or worry on Fanzer's consciousness.

Yet here she was, so ready to kill Emma without a second thought.

Before she even knew it, tears overflowed from her eyes and she was in Fanzer's arms, crying.

"I haven't changed...! Even after all we've been through, I'm still selfish! I was... I was gonna kill her...!" Kotone sobbed, her body shaking as Fanzer tightly held onto her.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry! Please forgive me...! I promise I'll get better, just please don't leave me! I'm sorry. I'll try harder. I'll be smarter. I'll do anything so please... please don't leave me. I don't... I don't wanna be alone again," Kotone sobbed, her fears becoming clear to Fanzer as she tightly held onto him, as if he would disappear if she let go.

"Hey... I'm here, okay? I'm not leaving either. Okay?" Fanzer held Kotone tightly, trying to calm her down a little bit. His efforts were for naught though.

Kotone just wouldn't calm down, so Fanzer made a decision. He decided that Kotone should rest on his back as he does something that should've been obvious in hindsight.

"Here, get on my back," Fanzer crouched down to allow for easier access to his back, but Kotone didn't hop on without asking him something.

"If I get on... will you stay with me?" Kotone asked, sobbing much more lightly than she was before.

"I'll stay with you even if you refuse to get on," Fanzer reassured Kotone, his heart aching to see her in suck a sorrowful state.

After a moment, Kotone climbed on Fanzer's back. With a small heave, he rose back to his feet and began walking away from the battleground.

"Wait... don't... go," Emma called out to Fanzer, causing him to turn and look at her with tired eyes.

"Don't follow us, please. Let us be," Fanzer pleaded before turning away and ignoring any of Emma's other ways of trying to get him to stay.

Clicking the ground level button in the elevator, Fanzer noticed that his amazing girlfriend had fallen asleep on his back.

When the elevator door opened, he was surprised and unsurprised to see Kazane, Asami, and Jumin resting in the middle of a large group of unconscious guards.

"Let's go home," Fanzer lazily raised his fist, and his friends did the same, just as lazily as him as well.

The group was far too tired to cheer or even make a large deal of the situation, so with everyone's wounds and with everyone's exhaustion, the group of five started walking back to Kotone's mother's home to regain their energy.

Fanzer and Kotone slugged behind the rest of the group, a result of Fanzer's exhaustion, lack of exercise, and Kotone's extra weight on his back.

Kotone murmured in her sleep.

"Please Fanzer, don't go.... I love you," She spoke unconsciously, bringing a smile to the tired teen's face.

"Don't worry Kotone, I'm not going anywhere."
