"Your Average Rebellion Against Lovecraftian Entities"

There was a great stillness as if anything did not exist in this world.In the sky, a young girl was falling down through the crack in space, wearing something akin to what a gothic lolita would wear.

"My my it seems that you've arrived"

a man wearing nothing but taterred white robes was standing there in the centre of the nothingness. Looking to be in his 90's and giving off the impression that he could collapse any second due to his frail and old body. As such he sported a walking stick so as to support himself.

Wake up... wake up... wake up said a mysterious voice.

Upon hearing this the girl opened her eyes and what greeted was simply nothingness and infront of her stood an old man.

"Who are you, where am I, I thought I was dead?"

"My dear, I am sure you have many questions for me. Therefore, allow me to answer all of them"

Interested in what the old man had to say she began asking her first question.

"Where am I?"

"This place as far as you can see is well just nothingness, a place devoid of anything and everything. Otherwise known as my home"

Knowing her location, she proceeded to ask the old man "who are you"?

"My dear, I have no name but if you want to call me by something then "The Prophet" sounds fine, Prophet for short if you will".

After hearing his name she asked him: "So Prophet how am I still alive, I recalled dying in my original due to unforseen...circumstances and now I am here".

"Well my dear it is quite simple you indeed die. However, thanks to my powers I have brought you to my humble abode". "The purpose you may ask"?

"Well that is simple I want you to overthrow a lovecraftian entity for me".

The old man said calmy.

"A lovecraftian entity"? "What are those?"

"Well my dear a Lovecraftian entities are beings of immeasurable power that exist outside our known universe. Legends tell tales of how if one of them were to awaken it would spell the end of all creation."

"Ara Ara~ then what is in it for me, I much rather pass on the offer then attempt to fight that"

"If you prove to be triumphant then I shall return you to your original world,you have someone waiting for you there, is there not"?

"Shido-san..."

"Next on the list I'll like to explain what kind of world you are going to re---."

*Crack*

Suddenly out of nowhere a crack appeared in the sky of the blank space and a voice echoed and small tentacle could be seen emerging from the crack.

"I've finally found you!"

"What is that?!" asked Kurumi who was confused.

"Oh that's just an old friend, well then as much as I'd like to give you the details about the world it seems I would need to cut our conversation short."

*Tap*

Tapping a piece of the floor with his walking stick. the Prophet opened up a huge hole where Kurumi was standing.

In shock she screamed while she was falling.

"I'll get you for this old man!" screamed Kurumi

"Ho ho ho, goodbye and have a safe trip my dear."

"Now then how shall I deal with intruders like you in my home?"

The Prophet turned to face whoever it was that managed to get into his home.

Opening her eyes Kurumi smelled burning flesh and that's when it all started
