Chapter 5: The arrival of Ethan Rodriguez

Here I am at my uncle's car to fetch my father in the airport. If only I knew that my father will be back then I have finished all of my school works for the month.

After a few minutes, we arrived at our destination and parked our vehicle. We went to the entance to fetch my father.

We waited a few more minutes not until my uncle spotted my father. "Ah! Kuya Ethan!" He shouted childishly which caught the others attention, tsk. He's being childish again. I thought at myself, if his fangirls saw him like this they'll probably dissapointed-"Ang gwapo at cute naman niya!" Or maybe not. Seriously? That's cute?

After father heard my uncle shouting I saw him sighing, can't blame him though. "Kuya! I miss you bro!" Cringe. "You're being loud Aiden." My father said to him. "Mag-ama talaga kayo ni Win-win! Ang seseryoso niyo!" Uncle scoffed. My father looked at me and took something on his weekender bag. Wait, is that a Princess Celestia plush toy?!

He gave it to me and I looked at him confusingly. "What? Your uncle said you don't have that one in your collection." He said and I glared at my uncle na halatang nagpipigil ng kaniyang tawa.

Pagkatapos nilang ilagay ang mga bagahe ni papa ay sumakay na kami sa kotse. Tito Aiden was seated on the driver's seat, my father on the passenger seat while I'm on the back seat. "Should we eat on a restaurant?" My uncle ask while looking at the rear-view mirror. "Let's just eat at home." My father answered "Win-win text mo nga si Nay Berta na sa bahay tayo kakain ng hapunan." My uncle asked me and I nodded as respond.

5:26 PM

"Nay Berta, diyan daw po

kami sa bahay kakain ng

hapunan."

"Ganun ba? Sige mabuti

nalang at nagluluto na

ako."

Pagkatapos kong itext si Nay Berta ay inilagay ko na ang bag ko sa aking mini backpack. I put my neck pillow around my neck and took a nap.

It was alread 5:54 PM when I woke up and just in time because  our car were just entering the subdivision. I fixed myself quickly and was ready to get out of the car.

After getting out of the car, I went upstairs to change my clothes. My father and uncle also went also to their room to change their clothes. I recharged my phone because it's battery was at 20% and I'm planning to use it later.

After changing my clothes ay bumaba na ako at naghugas ng aking kamay tsaka ako pumunta sa aming mesa. Looks like we will eat Cajun Shrimp Pasta. Nagsimula na kaming kumain ng tahimik.

After few minutes, my father broke the silence. "How was school?" My father asked, ito na nga ba ang sinasabi ko.

"It's fine, I finished my schoolworks for the week-"

"You could have finish all of your schoolworks for the month."

I flinched at what he said to me. This is why I was nervous when I heard uncle saying that my father was coming back. He'll scold me to the point that he will almost say hurtful words to me, I don't know if he's aware of it though...

"You could've done more, you could've done better. That's still not enough." And it happen again. He's favorite line:'You couldn't done better.'

"I'm full." I said as I stand up while going up the stairs. Good thing I was used to his words already. I remember when I was at my 14's or 15's I'll always cry on my room after he told me such cruel words.

As soon as I got into my room, I took my towel and my pajamas then went to the bathroom to take a bath.

After taking a good bath in the bathtub, I went to my bed and starts reading some mangas while  listening to some of Taylor Swift's songs.

Got me feeling like a nothing🎶

I felt like I kinda related on this song though it doesn't match the manga I was reading because it was BNHA the part where the heroes were fighting the Paranormal Liberation Front.

After reading the last chapter, I got a notification on our GC. It was Theo.

7:17 PM

T.B.H🏐:"Guys! Let's play

Among us!"

G.A.Y:"Sige ba"

T.B.H✒:"Erkey"

"Yeah sure"

After agreeing, Theo and the others invited more friends to play because George said that 'The more, the merrier' but since I don't have any friends, I don't have someone to invit- actually...

"Can I invite someone?

I'm not sure though

if that person plays

among us.."

G.A.Y:"Huwaw himala,

meh bagong kebigan ka

na teh?"

"I'm not sure if I can

call him 'new friend'"

T.B.H✒:"Oh then who

is this old friend of

yours?"

"His name is Luke, I'm

not sure if he sees me

as a friend tho.."

G.A.Y:"Gora na teh invite

mo na baka naglalaro yun"

"K, brb"

I immediately went to Luke's profile after having the code to ask him if he plays the game.

7:26 PM

"Hey, Luke"

"O Winter bakit?"

"Do you play among us?"

"Aba syempre!"

"Really? How about you

join us?"

"Talaga? Sige ba! Btw

LUCKyme ung name ko

Hehe."

"Ok here's the code:

KUFGOF"

"Okie dokie!"

After inviting him I chatted my friends that he will be joining us.

7:28 PM

"He's joining us."

G.A.Y:"Naks naman, meh

friend ka naman pala."

T.B.H🏐:"No offense but

I actually didn't expect

that, is that friend of

yours the one we were

talking about last time?"

"Ay hindi siya yun,babae

yung tinutukoy ko nun"

T.B.H🏐:"Eh? Di ko gets"

G.A.Y:"Mas lalong wala

kaming nagets sa mga

pinagsasabi niyo noh"

"I'll explain it to you

guys next time."

T.B.H✒:"Erkey let's

go na sa game muna."

After that, we started the game and it looks like there's 3 imposters in the game and I fortunately I am one of them. I wanted to be an imposter too, and it looks like the other imposters were George's friend Sam and Theora's friend I suppose?

We started playing and of course starts killing crewmates then put the blame on others.

After the game we said goodbye to each other and leave the game. I heared my phone ringing and saw that our GC were having a video chat. I accept the invitation and saw George wearing pajamas according to its collar. Theora was wearing a face mask for her skin care and also a headband. While Theo was wearing a sleeveless shirt.

"Ang galing nung kaibigan mo mahanap yung imposters ha although hindi ka niya nahuli and nanalo kayo sa huli." Theo said to me "I actually didn't expect that Luke was that good." I answered to them and George was kinda grinning from ear to ear "Sino siya teh? Jowa mo?" I raised my left eyebrow at what he said to me. "As I said a while ago, he's just an old friend." I responded to them seriously. "Erkey, say mo eh.." her 'Erkey' is kinda annoying but I better not make of fuse out of it though, I'm not a petty person. It took more minutes until our video chat ended at saktong nagchat naman sa akin si Luke.

8:38 PM

Pagkatapos kong magpaalam ay pinatay ko na ang aking lamp at natulog na rin. Today was quite fun...
