Nervous Reunions and Hidden Emotions

Jimin and Shine stood at the party venue, excitedly anticipating the arrival of the rest of their group. They had intentionally kept the guest list small, excluding any other friends, to maintain a comfortable atmosphere given the delicate situation between Jin and Namjoon.

Jimin turned to Shine and asked, "Shine, please call Kookie and check where they are. We need to know when they'll arrive."

Before Shine could make the call, Suga's voice was heard, "No need to call; we're already here. Tell me, is there anything you need help with?"

Jimin smiled at Suga and replied, "No, Hyung, everything is all set for the party. We were just waiting for all of you to come. By the way, where's Joon Hyung? Is he doing okay? I had suggested to Shine that we shouldn't go ahead with this party, but she didn't listen to me."

Suga chuckled and reassured Jimin, "I think this party is necessary. They can't keep running away from each other forever. Sooner or later, they'll have to face each other. It's better if they see each other before their respective marriages. Anyways, where are Jin and Tae?"

Jimin glanced around and replied, "They're on their way. They should be here soon. Let's go ahead and take our seats. Shine, please call everyone inside."

Shine nodded and stepped away to make the necessary arrangements, including calling Kookie, Hobi, and Namjoon.

Jimin turned to Suga and said, "Hyung, you're planning to tell everyone about us tonight, right?"

Suga smiled and replied, "Yes, my sweet mochi, I will tell everyone tonight. Given the situation, it's best to address it openly and shift the focus from Jin and Namjoon. Plus, it will help lighten the overall mood."

Jimin agreed with Suga's plan, feeling relieved that their own secret would soon be revealed to their closest friends. As they spoke, the rest of the group arrived at the venue, and the atmosphere buzzed with anticipation for the evening ahead.

Namjoon sat nervously at the party, unsure of how he would react when he saw Jin. Suddenly, he heard Jin's voice, and a smile formed on his face. However, the smile quickly faded as he remembered that Jin was no longer his love. Jin and Tae joined the group, but both seemed hesitant to make eye contact with each other.

Tae asked Namjoon, "How are you, Joon Hyung?"

Namjoon looked up, his gaze automatically falling on Jin, who was sitting next to Tae. He replied, "I'm fine, Tae. How are you both doing? I hope you're taking care of yourselves."

Tae responded, "We're both doing well, Hyung. We're trying our best. And how about you?"

Namjoon couldn't help but feel a sense of longing as he looked at Jin. He answered, "I'm doing my best too, Tae. Just taking it one day at a time."

Shine interrupted, sensing the tension in the air. "Alright, everyone, please make yourselves comfortable. Let's start the party."

Both Jin and Namjoon averted their gazes, trying to contain their emotions and tears. They didn't want to spoil the party or anyone's mood with their inner turmoil.

Shine suggested, "Jin and Namjoon Hyung, have you guys bought your wedding attire? If not, I'd love to come with you for the shopping."

Jin and Namjoon replied in unison, "No, we haven't."

Everyone noticed the growing tension in the room and felt the need to lighten the mood. Jimin took charge and organized some games and watched old school and college videos, bringing laughter and joy to the gathering. Hours passed, and it was already 1:00 AM.

Kookie suggested, "Guys, let's open a bottle of champagne to celebrate the upcoming occasions."

Tae whispered, "Are you crazy? Why are you saying that? It will only make them sad again."

Kookie responded, "Come on, Hyung. They need to face the reality. I know it's painful, but it's a part of their lives now, and they can't avoid it."

Tae sighed and said, "I understand, Kook, but let's enjoy the moment together and avoid dampening their spirits. Let's play some music and dance first, and then we can open the champagne."

Kookie agreed, and the group danced and sang along to upbeat music for the next two hours, feeling the weight of their troubles momentarily lifted.
