Invitation
She took a deep breath and answered the call.
Her heart beating like crazily and nervousness making her body to shiver with fear.
'What is wrong with you?' The person on the other line asked.
This voice not his! It's little girly and little bit familiar.
"Who are you?" She asked to clear her doubt.
"You surely have gone mad!" The person said.
She didn't said anything because the person on the line was confusing her, one thing us for sure that it's not him but her, who is that girl?
"Stupid Girl it's me!" The person on the line said.
She again questioned "Who are you?" because she was unable to remember the person that voice was also not that much recognisable but familiar.
The person on the other line again didn't said anything.
"Seriously Vanessa! It's me Russell!" The person screamed in excitement.
"Russell? Russell!!!!!!!!!" She screamed.
"Yes idiot!" The person laughed because of her idiotic answer.
"I am sorry I couldn't recognise you!" She apologized because of her overthinking she couldn't recognise her best friend voice.
"Stupid Girl!"
"I am sorry!!!" She apologized again.
"Okay Okay Fine!!!! Between how are you?" Russell Asked.
"I am fine! What about you?" Vanessa asked her.
"I am also perfectly fine anyways today our club is holding a party for all the seniors who are studying on their final year!" She said.
"What?" She asked her because she didn't understood anything.
"Uff...! I am saying our club is hosting farewell party for ya'all seniors."
"Ohh!!" she said.
"Yeah girl so freshen up and get ready the party will begin at 7 and you can wear anything whatever you want to okay so don't be late and also we all be waiting for you and don't worry no theme also you don't have to wear anything traditional so I don't think you have any problem also the location for the party is not so far, a little bit but not that much okay so don't worry!" Russell explained her about party.
"Okay!!" Vanessa said.
"You coming na!!" Russell Asked her because she doubting her mind.
"Yea Sure! I will....." Russell Didn't let her speak further.
"Excuse me don't use the word 'try' because I really want you to come as if you know it's going to be last year for ya'all seniors and especially you will be meeting in occasion but not everyday like we use to do at past...." Russell tried to convince her.
"Don't worry we will get to meet dear!" Vanessa said.
"So you won't be coming! Are you serious!!" Russell took her words in different way.
"No I mean I am coming just I was saying that we will continue to meet!" Vanessa said.
"Okay Great!!!" Russell said.
"Yea Dear!" Vanessa said.
"Fine then I will be sending you the details about the party and also this time we won't be seeing the hard copy we will be seeing it digitally and also don't delete it keep it safe however your name will be there and also will be recognise by everyone but still for our privacy and security!!". Russell explained.
"Fine then don't worry I will be there at time!!" She promised her.
"OMG!!! Thank God Love you sooo much babe!!!!!!" She proclaimed with excitement.
Vanessa Laughed and said "Love you too!!".
"OMG it's soon going to be 5.30! Anyways sorry for killing your time bye I will see you later!" She apologised.
"Na It's okay Dear!!! Thanks for the details and your time!!" She said.
"Anytime girl anyways byeee see ya!' Russell said.
"Byeee!!" Vanessa hang up.
Then she walked in front of the window and pull over the curtains at the other side.
