QT: Finding Meaning

*** My health has been very poor this year alongside loosing my mother-in-law and cat so I'm sorry but this will be rewritten and finished when I'm well, I'm doing it all offline in my rare creative moments, hopefully with a more mature touch *** [WARNING: Mature Themes (smut, violence, murder, suicide, domestic violence, etc.)] --------- Waking up naked and alone with a murderer, without a single memory, she relies on System to understand her existence in another person's body. --------- Still don't know if you should read me? Here's a quick breakdown to help you make up your mind if this novel is right for you: This is my own twist on the QuickTransmigration System genre, giving it a more 'spiritual' twist. It explores sensitive themes throughout each arc and I will do my best to give trigger warnings at the start of chapters containing them. It is written in the first person and revolves around a female lead (FL). This is a weak-to-strong novel, she will have heavy flaws and make repeated mistakes and seem generally weak at the start, bear with her as she grows. Romance is a heavy theme within the story that contains a lot of smut, with more than one character. However, there is only one male lead in the end. The story is less about fluffy romance, instead, it's a journey of growth and self-discovery, revolving around the main storyline. Although, each Arc will have its own separate storyline that will have an impact on the main storyline with both new and reoccurring characters (so skipping arcs is not advised). I have currently written the rough drafts for four arcs at the point of writing this: 1. Ghosts & Guns 2. How do you keep a child alive in the Zombie Apocalypse? 3. Abducted by Aliens 4. Freed by the Fae Folk 5. .... --------- --------- Cover Art made by myself, using nightcafe AI Art, check out my page, I'm attempting to make novel art and character art for each arc: https://creator.nightcafe.studio/u/Raychbunni

The Thorn that Pierces Me

The Thorn that Pierces Me

A Love Story Entwined with Misunderstandings in a World of Chaos and Survival! What starts as an exciting trip to Paris quickly turns into a nightmare when Heesoo’s plane crash-lands, leaving her stranded in a zombie-infested parallel world. In this brutal realm, where outsiders like her are treated as slaves and violence reigns supreme, survival seems impossible—especially in a place where she can neither understand nor speak the language. Captured by ruthless men intent on enslaving her, Heesoo faces the horrifying prospect of being left to die at the hands of zombies. Just when all hope seems lost, a man with piercing emerald-green eyes miraculously saves her—a beacon of strength amidst the chaos. “Get lost, unless you’re looking for trouble.” Her savior, Calix Clovis, a holy knight and relentless zombie hunter, is the epitome of strength in this cruel world. With no other options, Heesoo clings to him as her only lifeline. Yet, as their journey unfolds, the language barrier between them breeds endless misunderstandings, while an unspoken tension of desire simmers beneath the surface, threatening to ignite. Heesoo finds herself falling for Calix, drawn to the man who saved her. Calix, too, feels a growing attraction to her, but as a holy knight, he views such desires as sinful temptations and fights to suppress his feelings. ‘What am I supposed to do with this woman?’ Helpless and unable to survive without him, Heesoo becomes his burden—one he knows he should abandon. Logic demands he leave her behind and continue his fight alone. Yet no matter how hard he tries, Calix cannot bring himself to let her go. “When we reach the city, we’ll never see each other again. Got it?” Calix tells himself she’s nothing more than a thorn—insignificant yet irritating. But the longer they travel together, the deeper she embeds herself in his soul, sharp and impossible to remove. Her presence unsettles him, forcing him to question everything he once believed, leaving him to wonder: would removing this thorn cause more pain than keeping it? Will Calix pull the thorn free and walk away? Or will he surrender to the feelings that pierce him deeper with every step they take together? #Romance #Sexual #Misunderstanding #Fantasy #Zombie #Obsessive Text copyright ⓒ 2024 by MaCherie All right reserved. The meaning of having a thorn in one's back
The meaning of having a thorn in one's back was to describe one's inner fear and restlessness, as if there was a thorn in one's back. This idiom could be used as a predicative, an attribute, an object, or after a perceptual verb. Its origin could be traced back to the description in the Biography of Huo Guang in the Book of Han. It described that the general was riding on a horse, and the emperor was afraid of him, as if there was a thorn in his back. The antonyms were like sitting on pins and needles, being at a loss, and being restless, while the antonyms were calm, as if nothing had happened, and leisurely.

In which novel did Lifeless Thorn and Wushuang Thorn appear?
Lifeless Thorn was a character that appeared in the novel,"Online Games: Fighting the World Alone." He had yet to provide any information about Wushuang, so he could not answer him for the time being. However, if you like traditional wuxia novels, I can recommend you a novel called "The Twelve Volume of Heavenly Secrets". The protagonist in the story, Jing Jia, is also a brave and kind chivalrous man. He overcame all obstacles in the Jianghu and finally became a hero of his generation. I hope you like this fairy's recommendation. Muah ~😗
