Perjalanan panjang yang kaya akan makna, cerita, dan pembelajaran pun dimulai. Selamat memasuki dunia Pondok Pesantren akhwat, di mana ilmu, iman, dan ukhuwah menjadi fondasi utama untuk membangun masa depan yang gemilang sesuai sunnah dan rahmat Illahi.

Pondok ini adalah perhentian terakhir bagi jiwa-jiwa yang telah hancur dan mati di dunia luar. Konon, tempat ini dikuasai oleh Nyi Ratih, sosok wanita dengan kecantikan abadi yang kisahnya telah membusuk di mulut penduduk desa sejak ratusan tahun lalu. Siapa pun yang berani melangkah melewati gerbang betonnya akan mendapati takdir mereka diputarbalikkan. Segala syahwat, harta, takhta, dan dendam membara, akan dipenuhi, namun dengan bayaran harga mutlak yang mengoyak kemanusiaan. Ironinya, di balik jerat syarat mistis yang mematikan dan teror senyap yang mengintai, kegelapan di dalam pondok ini justru terasa begitu akrab. Menawarkan kenyamanan semu yang membuat para korban rela menyerahkan jiwa mereka, seperti merasa pulang ke rumah sendiri.

Berjuang menegakan yang hak itu sebuah keharusan bagi siapapun manusia, dari kalangan laki - laki, perempuan, orang tua , dewasa, remaja , anak kecil, pejabat, bukan pejabat ,orang kaya sampai orang miskin. Dalam hal ini penulis menceritakan tentang seorang kyai, yang dari kecilnya beliau tidak pernah mengenyam pendidikan SD, SMP, SMA, S1, tapi beliau berjuang ingin membangun sebuah pendidikan tanpa dipungut biaya sepeserpun (GRATIS). Dari perjuangannya sekarang berdirilah sebuah Yayasan yang bernama Yayasan Darul Kawakib mengelola semua tingkat pendidikan dari pesantren, tingkat Paud, SD sampai Perguruan Tinggi .
