Different types of English books had different reading methods: - ** Graded Reading (suitable for children to learn English)**: - ** Choose reading materials according to the child's development pattern **: Graded reading is a reading plan designed according to the child's age, intelligence, and psychological development. Because each child's situation was different, the reading materials provided were also different. Parents can choose suitable graded reading materials according to their children's characteristics and abilities to avoid making their children feel unfulfilled or too simple to make their children lose interest in exploration, so as to improve their children's enthusiasm for reading. - ** Regular weekly reading **: Preschoolers should insist on reading English picture books twice a week before going to primary school, two books each time. Reading about 100 graded books a year and thoroughly reading them was better than blindly pursuing quantity. - ** Repeat reading **: You can use the repetition law. For example, in the first three weeks of each month, you can read a new book. In the fourth week, you can let the child choose the two books that he likes the most from the books that he has read in the first three weeks. New books can be introduced every 5 - 6 months or 12 months, and children can also choose books they like from the books they have read before. - ** Reading by subject **: The books that you have read are categorized according to the subject, such as animal theme, color theme, etc., and you can continue to consolidate and cycle the books to help your child effectively reproduce the knowledge. - ** Original Classic English Reading Materials (e.g. Beginner Level)**: No special reading methods are mentioned. You can focus on understanding the meaning of the text like ordinary reading. You can use tools such as a dictionary to help you understand new words. - ** Books about improving reading methods (such as "How To Read A Book")**: You can train your reading comprehension ability by reading these books. You can learn not only to read the text, but also to understand the meaning of the text. You can avoid commenting without understanding the author's meaning. For any English book reading, you can also accumulate vocabulary during the reading process. At the same time, you can combine reading with audio to improve your reading ability. Read more exciting novels for free

Friendship Has Changed Me Friendship, like the warm sun in spring, quietly shone into my life and changed me unknowingly. When I was young, I was a very timid and introverted person. In class, I was always afraid to answer questions. Even if I knew the answer, I would only say it to myself silently. During the break, I always sat alone in my seat, watching my classmates laugh and play, but I didn't know how to integrate into them. Until one day, a transfer student came to our class. He was a lively, outgoing boy. The teacher arranged for him to sit next to me. From that day on, my life began to change. At first, he always took the initiative to talk to me. Although I only responded to him briefly, he didn't seem to care about my indifference. He would share interesting stories from his previous school with me, and those stories filled with joy and fun attracted me like a magnet. Slowly, I became interested in his words and occasionally asked him some questions. Once, the teacher raised a question in class. I actually knew the answer, but as usual, I didn't have the courage to raise my hand. However, he raised his hand without hesitation and answered the question loudly. He was praised by the teacher. After class, he said to me,"You know the answer. Why don't you raise your hand?" It's very interesting to answer questions." I lowered my head and whispered,"I'm afraid I'll say something wrong." He patted me on the shoulder and said," It doesn't matter. No one will blame you if you say something wrong. Besides, you can only know if you're right by saying it." With his encouragement, I began to raise my hand to answer questions in class. In the beginning, my voice was very small and I was so nervous that I trembled. However, he always looked at me with encouraging eyes, which gradually gave me courage. As time passed, my voice became louder and louder, and I was no longer as afraid of making mistakes as before. Under his influence, I began to become more cheerful. During the break, he would pull me along to play games with the other students. At first, I was still very restrained, but everyone was very friendly. Slowly, I also blended into this happy group. I found that playing with my classmates was so happy that I was no longer a lonely bystander. Friendship is like this, like a spring, moistens my dry heart; like a spring breeze, blows away the haze in my heart. Because of his appearance, I changed from a timid, introverted, and lonely child to a brave, cheerful, and happy person. He used his passion and sincerity to write a colorful stroke in my life, letting me understand that the power of friendship is endless. It can change a person's character and make life more colorful. Read more exciting novels for free
