Wishes and Sweet Kisses

Wishes and Sweet Kisses

The Meng family on leaving hospital took the wrong baby girl home, raising her as their little princess, while the real princess of the Meng family was taken to a small rural village, raised with love and affection by the family that she believed was her own. Six months before her eighteenth birthday, the patriarch of the Meng family, and Chairman of Meng Corp found out about the accidental baby swap at the hospital, as both babies had been given the name tag ‘Baby Meng’. Due to being dissatisfied with the child that he realised was not his real granddaughter who the rumours indicated was two faced, he started the search for his true granddaughter, locating her some three months later. Overriding the demands of his son and daughter-in-law that the only recognisable true princess of the Meng family was the child that they had raised since the day she had come home from hospital, he dragged them to the small rural village, where she had been raised by her adoptive family and brought her home. For Abigail Meng, that day marked a dramatic change in her life. When her adoptive family learnt the truth, every member except her adoptive grandmother not only demanded the return of their rightful daughter but compensation to be provided to them. Her biological parents rejected this and refused to send the child that they had raised back and only begrudgingly took her home. On her arrival at her real parent’s home, she saw the two faces constantly present themselves, in front of her grandfather who loved her for her, they were nice and loving, but as soon as he left, they turned on her, treating her as if she was a family servant, shoving her in a room that not even one of the family servants would use while maintaining a façade room for her grandfather to believe that she was being treated well. On the even of her shared eighteenth birthday, Abigail Meng just before she crawled into bed, looked out the tiny window and spotted a shooting star before uttering “I wish that things will become better as of tomorrow. I wish my life would change. I wish that my so-called family receive what they deserve for treating me as they have.” As she drifted off to sleep, a quiet voice came from the corner that had been watching her charge in the shadows, waved her wand and said, “Your Wishes are granted,” before clicking her fingers and disappearing into the air. This is the story of how Abigail Meng’s life changed with three simple wishes granted by her fairy godmother and the love it spurned.

*** My health has been very poor this year alongside loosing my mother-in-law and cat so I'm sorry but this will be rewritten and finished when I'm well, I'm doing it all offline in my rare creative moments, hopefully with a more mature touch *** [WARNING: Mature Themes (smut, violence, murder, suicide, domestic violence, etc.)] --------- Waking up naked and alone with a murderer, without a single memory, she relies on System to understand her existence in another person's body. --------- Still don't know if you should read me? Here's a quick breakdown to help you make up your mind if this novel is right for you: This is my own twist on the QuickTransmigration System genre, giving it a more 'spiritual' twist. It explores sensitive themes throughout each arc and I will do my best to give trigger warnings at the start of chapters containing them. It is written in the first person and revolves around a female lead (FL). This is a weak-to-strong novel, she will have heavy flaws and make repeated mistakes and seem generally weak at the start, bear with her as she grows. Romance is a heavy theme within the story that contains a lot of smut, with more than one character. However, there is only one male lead in the end. The story is less about fluffy romance, instead, it's a journey of growth and self-discovery, revolving around the main storyline. Although, each Arc will have its own separate storyline that will have an impact on the main storyline with both new and reoccurring characters (so skipping arcs is not advised). I have currently written the rough drafts for four arcs at the point of writing this: 1. Ghosts & Guns 2. How do you keep a child alive in the Zombie Apocalypse? 3. Abducted by Aliens 4. Freed by the Fae Folk 5. .... --------- --------- Cover Art made by myself, using nightcafe AI Art, check out my page, I'm attempting to make novel art and character art for each arc: https://creator.nightcafe.studio/u/Raychbunni

Three Divine Wishes: Yes, I'm OP!

Three Divine Wishes: Yes, I'm OP!

On the night he turned eighteen, a young man stood alone in a vast open field, knowing full well that his miserable existence was finally coming to an end. A life of being an orphan with no family, no friends, and nothing but endless suffering had taught him one brutal truth: if the afterlife didn’t offer reincarnation—real power, a real chance to matter—then his entire existence had been nothing but a cruel, sick joke. Yet, he stood there, finally acknowledged for the first time in his life… and it was by a group of thugs, their silhouettes dark against the sky. “Oh… this better be transmigration worthy.” He muttered with a wild smile. And those were the last words he ever spoke. CRRRRRACK!!!! The sky tore open with a deafening crack. HONKKKK!!!! Loud, distorted horns blared from above as massive trucks plummeted like an apocalyptic hail—rusted metal turcks twisting and free falling through the air. BOOOOM!!! Akasha stood frozen for a split second, his wild smile only widening in pure, absurd delight as one colossal rig hurtled straight toward him. KABOOOOOOOOOM!!! ---- Before he knew it, he drifted through an endless void for what felt like eons… or maybe only a few minutes. It was something he could truly never know as time meant nothing in the lightless abyss between one life and the next. Until a chime... followed by the voice of a beautiful woman shattered the silence. DING! [Hello, Akasha!] ..... DING! [Love, are you there?] .... As Akasha floated there... a presence stirred in the void — one that was beyond ancient, intimate, and bound to the very core of his existence. It was not a system... but an ancient Spirit connected to him, one that had walked with him through his very miserable life, unseen, now finally speaking as if the curtains had been pulled back. In that moment... every truth that haunted him came to light. His life on Earth... it hadn't been a life at all. The last eighteen miserable years of his life had been nothing but an elaborate illusion cast by a Mother he had never once heard of or met. And now, before he was whisked away into true transmigration, the Spirit —the one being connected to this unknown Mother of his — left him with final words. [Love.... you will be able to choose the type of world you are born into, along with your race and all basic info you decide to choose.] [You will also have three divine wishes, capable of granting whatever that you desire to start your life… so use them well. Courtesy of your benevolent Mother, of course.] And that day marked the beginning... The beginning of Akasha’s rise from the ashes, a broken orphan who wore a smile in his final moments, transforming into something beyond definition or understanding. A being shaped not to survive, but to conquer. In a verse where gods, demons, and horrors clash in endless wars across fractured realities, Akasha emerged—not as another desperate soul reborn, but as a presence whose very name made deities and monsters' alike tremble. ---- In the Land of Dreams, a figure knelt on bloodied knees, voice breaking with desperate fear. “L-Lord D-Dream… I wasn’t trying to sneak into D-Dream L…land! I swear—” But the words never had a chance to finish. In that moment, Akasha’s unseen presence appeared.... as though he had always been present. It was beyond heavy and suffocating, making even the very fabric of space warp and splinter. Then from the darkness, his calm yet chilling voice whispered.... “Shhh… Just sleep tight… and don’t let the bed bugs bite.”

Fan Ruoruo was granted a marriage.
In the end, Fan Ruoruo was betrothed to Li Hongcheng. Although Fan Ruoruo's heart had long been occupied by Fan Xian and she could not accept Li Hongcheng, she still married him in the end. However, after their marriage, Fan Ruoruo had been cold to Li Hongcheng. She had gotten used to his existence, so she had chosen to follow him. The emperor granted the six palaces
Take Legend of Zhen Huan as an example. After Zhen Huan returned to the palace, An Lingrong was pregnant. The Empress wanted to ask for a title for An Lingrong to strengthen her power. Although the Emperor was not very happy, he could not refute the Empress. Zhen Huan suggested giving An Lingrong a title and using Shen Mei Manor as an excuse to ask the Emperor to grant her six palaces. Zhen Huan did this to appease the jealousy and anger of the other concubines, and to win the hearts of her team, so that the Empress and An Lingrong would not steal the limelight. She could also attack the Empress 'arrogance and take revenge for the slander. She didn't ask for a reward for herself and only said that it was enough to have the Emperor's favor. This made the Emperor feel that she was aware of the big picture and thus handed the matter of the six palaces to her. This was equivalent to handing the power of the harem to Zhen Huan. In other periods of ancient times, there were also situations where the emperor granted six palaces. For example, when Zha Zhalong was in power, the concubines in the harem had different levels of conferment. This was also a way for the emperor to manage the harem according to different factors (such as the concubines 'family background, fertility, their own needs, etc.). Different concubines were at different levels due to their birth, fertility, and degree of favor. The six palaces might have a major impact on the structure of the harem, including the reallocation of power and the rise and fall of various forces. In ancient times, the marriage was granted
I recommend a few ancient romance novels. Autumn Wind Bamboo's " Happiness of Marriage " was set in an ancient female dynasty. The male and female protagonists had a conversation many years ago. Many years later, the male protagonist proposed to her, but he proposed the wrong marriage and was engaged to the wrong person. Later, he wanted to please his mother-in-law. Flowers Fall and Spring Return's " A Couple of Strange Elements " was a classical fictional genre. On the night of the wedding night, the bride turned into a man, and the man did not see her. Were they going to live with strange identities? The flowery dress's " Forced Marriage " was a classic fantasy. The dream of a talented scholar and a beautiful woman was shattered by a profligate playboy. The female protagonist had to live for herself in the sedan chair. Ming Mo's " Husband Appraisal " was a classical novel. It was a transmigration story where a woman became a bride who wanted to be married. She found out that the man's intentions were not pure and dumped him. There were keywords such as transmigration, farming, and love. Lan Chu's " Book of Brocade " was a classical work. It was a transmigration of a newlywed mother. The husband joined the army the next day and stayed alone in the empty boudoir to face his mother-in-law. When the husband returned, he might even marry a new lover. The female protagonist did not want to fight and only wanted to live a quiet life. The novel " Did His Highness Chase His Wife to the Crematorium " is equally exciting. Everyone is welcome to click and read it!

A novel that transmigrated into a prince and granted a fief
" The Ninth Prince of the Great Xia Kingdom " was a time-travel novel. It told the story of the ninth prince being banished to his fief in summer. According to the description in the first chapter of the novel, Xia Tian was conferred the title of King of Barren State when he turned 16 years old. He was not allowed to enter the capital city without a decree. This was because the Imperial Concubine was a member of the previous dynasty's royal family, and the new emperor was afraid of having a son who had the bloodline of the previous dynasty's royal family. Xia Tian was banished to the Barren State to prevent the imperial concubine from marrying Sima Lan, the daughter of the concubine of the most powerful clan in Guanzhong. In the other recommended transmigration novels, the specific information about the development of the prince's fief was not in the search results provided.
