Yellow-Browed Buddha's lines in the game were " Since you've seen the future, why don't you worship?" " The Blessed One said that the suffering of all living beings is mostly due to not abiding by the precepts and indulging in lust. In my opinion, if you fart and don't kill, hatred will never stop. If you don't steal, what difference does it make between me and the weak? If you don't commit adultery, all living beings will be sinful. If you don't speak nonsense, your dreams will be empty. If you don't crave wine, you won't be afraid of the ups and downs. If you don't indulge in pleasure, I say that these people who learn Buddhist scriptures are all trash. Why don't I do it myself?" A video that was suspected to be the content of the third week of Black Myth: Wukong was circulating on the Internet. The video showed the spectacular scene of the player directly attacking the Heavenly Court at the beginning of the game. The player controlled Sun Wukong to directly attack the Heavenly Court as soon as he appeared. The shocking battle scene and realistic graphics were reminiscent of the classic scene of the Monkey King wreaking havoc in Heaven in Journey to the West. Black Myth: Wukong was a stand-alone action role-playing game, not a movie. The story took place after the four disciples of Tang Sanzang learned the scriptures. Sun Wukong resigned from the Fighting Buddha and returned to Huaguo Mountain to live a carefree life. However, the Heavenly Court wanted to flatten Huaguo Mountain. Therefore, Wukong fought with Erlang God, Heavenly Soldiers and Heavenly Generals, and many of Wukong's enemies. In the end, Wukong was defeated. Yang Jian took five of them, namely Wukong's eyes, ears, mouth, nose, The bodies were given to the participants of this battle. The palace maid turned into a spider spirit in the lower realm. The spider spirit lived with Zhu Bajie for a while, but it was more important to learn from him. So, he abandoned the spider spirit. The Bull Demon King's plot included: Grand Supreme Elderly Lord's Furnace Keeper Boy had corrupted Princess Iron Fan. Bull Demon King had turned into a minotaur. Red Boy was not Bull Demon King's child. It was Princess Iron Fan who had been forced by the Heavenly Court to drink the water of her daughter's national river. He even wanted to capture Princess Jade Face's daughter to play with. Red Boy had eaten Sun Wukong's corpse and turned into Yaksha King. Princess Iron Fan jumped out and called him the only bloodline of the Yaksha tribe. Red Boy had committed suicide because he could not avenge the Heavenly Court's extermination. In the Bull Demon King's memories, Sun Wukong claimed that he was forced by the Heavenly Court to go to the Flaming Mountain, so he forcibly seized the fan, sent the Bull Demon King's child away, and killed his concubine. The Bull Demon King was angry, but he was suppressed by the Pagoda Bearing Heavenly King Li and Nezha sent by the Heavenly Court. Before Sun Wukong died, he told the Bull Demon King his last words. It turned out that Sun Wukong saved merit to enter the immortal class so that the Heavenly Court would let him and the Bull Demon King go. There was also a quick ending in the game: The old monkey led the way for the destined person and Zhu Bajie. The boat wandered in the River of Memories of Sun Wukong. Back then, Wukong killed his wife to prove his Dao, but he still could not let go of his feelings. When he returned from the Western Paradise, he still wanted to abandon his Buddha body and go to Huaguo Mountain to reunite with the White Bone Demon.

In Black Mythology: Wukong, there was femininity (femininity) in the relevant content. An artist had created a doujinshi picture of Sun Wukong, who had an alluring figure and was praised by players. At the same time, some of the male characters in the game, such as the Four Heavenly Kings, Yang Jian, Yellow Wind Sage, Tiger Vanguard, Little Yellow Dragon, Yellow Eyebrows, and Bajie, were also feminized. These feminized characters brought a strong visual impact, not only attracting the attention of people in the industry, but also attracting the interest of people outside. In addition, there were many female fairy characters in the game, such as the second sister of the spider demon, the fourth sister, etc. This also reflected the variety of gender in the game. Wolf: Shadow Passing Two Times and Black Myth: Goku were both excellent action games. In terms of sales volume, Wolf: The Second Passing of Shadows was released on March 22,2019, and the global sales volume exceeded 10 million on September 26,2023; Black Myth: Wukong sold more than 4.5 million copies on August 20,2024, sold more than 10 million copies on August 23rd, and sold an estimated 18.1 million copies on September 5th. Its sales volume far exceeded Wolf, which was closely related to the huge China market. In terms of playstyle and difficulty, both were soul games. The unique thing about the wolf was that it mainly dealt damage by slashing and killing after accumulating progress. The player's own damage was less, while Wukong mainly relied on damage output. Although there was a way to see through the gameplay, it was different from the wolf. In terms of difficulty, he personally felt that Lone Wolf was much more difficult than Black Mythical Goku. Most of the leaders of Lone Wolf were very difficult, and players often had to look up guides to defeat them. On the other hand, Black Mythical Goku's BOSS was relatively easy. As of Chapter 5, some players did not have to look up guides when fighting bosses. Moreover, Black Mythical Goku could increase his combat power by changing weapons and equipment, leveling up, and adding points. Lone Wolf had almost no means to increase his attack power. In terms of production and story level, both maps were pretty good. Wolf's map was only 15GB, while Black Mythology Goku had more than 100GB. The first four maps of Goku were far better than Wolf's, but the later maps showed signs of rushing. The fifth chapter was even a sticker, and the boss's production level was relatively low. In terms of the plot, the Wolf story was simple and easy to understand. Even if one did not understand Japanese culture, they could easily understand it. There were few conversations between the characters. The Black Mythology Goku contained a lot of traditional Chinese cultural elements, which was difficult for foreigners to understand. The long songs and dialogue also increased the difficulty of understanding. In addition, Black Myth Wukong abandoned the traditional death penalty mechanism of soul travel and was more humane than a wolf. In terms of map design, foreign media believed that the two were of similar scale, but Black Myth: Wukong was more linear. The map of Wolf was symbolic, showing different areas but not providing specific scale or layout. Black Myth: Goku did not have traditional maps, but guided players to explore through design and structure. Although there was no map, the game's linear design kept players from getting lost. The world of Black Myth: Goku was divided into multiple large interconnected levels. The levels might be slightly larger than the areas in Wolf, but the content or variety provided in each level was not more than in Wolf. Black Mythology: Wukong divided the content into different chapters. Each chapter had a unique environment and theme, and it had a fast travel function similar to a wolf. Black Myth: Wukong had also been caught up in plagiarism controversy. Some players pointed out that it had similarities with Wolf in terms of visual elements and game mechanics, but there were also opinions that this similarity might be due to cultural commonality or the commonality of artistic expression, rather than deliberate plagiarism.
