Season 3 Synopsis: The Rise of Erebus. Joined by Morinjo Johnson and John Kingsley, they prepare to defend the Amulet, but Erebus’s lieutenants, Abaddon and Gordon, are relentless. As Shang Lei is captured and tortured, the heroes embark on a daring mission to rescue him, setting the stage for an explosive showdown. Meanwhile, the Marvel 5 respond to a distress call, but Erebus proves unstoppable, claiming the Fortune Helmet on Neverland despite their combined strength. In Nigeria, Erebus’s forces ambush Samuel Vincent and Desmond Chukwuka to seize the Time Stone, forcing the Ventures to unite with local heroes and prepare for war. The final battles stretch from Nigeria's Oyo Empire to the heart of Erebus’s dark kingdom, Gavaria. Betrayals, devastating premonitions, and fierce battles push the Ventures to their limits. Despite their courage and unity, Erebus and his lieutenants overpower them, claiming the remaining weapons and leaving Earth on the brink of ruin. As Erebus kneels before Goliath, surrendering the collected weapons, Earth's fate hangs by a thread. With the heroes defeated and their powers stripped away, Season 3 ends with a chilling question: Can the Ventures rise again, or has Erebus’s dark reign sealed their doom forever?

Through a combination of strategy, sacrifice, and sheer willpower, they managed to defeat Malacoda, stripping him of the power that Erebus had promised him. The battle was fierce, the cost high, but in the final moments, Malacoda fell, his ambitions crushed. Erebus, watching from afar, seethed with disappointment. His carefully laid plans had been thwarted, and his would-be enforcer was no more. The defeat of Malacoda was a blow to his ambitions, a reminder that even the most powerful can be brought low by those who stand together. The five heroes, victorious but weary, looked out over a world saved from darkness. They had faced the worst, and in doing so, had become something more than just individuals—they had become legends.

Erebus promised him immortality and power to rule as king on earth. Malacoda instructed three servants to announce his arrival on earth and gave the planet two weeks to decide who they want to worship. After two weeks, Malacoda was defeated by those five heroes and Erebus was disappointed.
