matthew henry s commentary on the whole bible

In the Matthew Bible, the Christmas story includes the account of the virgin Mary being visited by the angel Gabriel and told she will bear a son, Jesus. It also tells of the Magi following a star to find the baby Jesus. It shows how Jesus' birth was foretold and was a significant event in salvation history.

The Christmas story is typically found in the early chapters of the Gospel of Matthew, specifically around chapters 1 and 2.

Well, that's a matter of interpretation. Different people have different views on what constitutes the 'whole story'. For some, the Bible offers comprehensive teachings and insights; for others, they might feel there are gaps or areas that could have been covered more extensively.

Witnessing the Nation was a crime mystery movie. The story revolved around Lin Tai's daughter, Lin Mengmeng, who was suspected of murdering his fiancée. Lin Tai was preparing to marry his singer girlfriend, whom he had been in love with for many years. As the wedding date approached, the singer had a scandal. In a fit of anger, Lin Mengmeng drove to the singer to reason with him. During the argument, the singer was knocked down. The nail that pierced the back of his head became the direct cause of death. Lin Mengmeng was facing at least 15 years in prison for murder. Lin Tai doted on his daughter, so he spent a lot of money to hire Zhou Li, a lawyer with a high success rate, to defend his daughter. The prosecutor was Tong Tao, who had a deep grudge with Lin Tai. The film's narrative technique was unique, using multiple perspectives to narrate. First, it was the first court trial from an objective perspective, explaining the background of the case, the scene of the trial, and the relationship between the characters. The prosecutor seized on the conflict between Lin Mengmeng and her stepmother, and the defense lawyer found loopholes in Lin Tai's driver, Sun Wei. For example, Sun Wei's wife had an affair with Lin Tai, so Sun Wei turned from a witness to a suspect in the case. The second trial was narrated from the perspective of the prosecutor Tong Tao and the defense lawyer Zhou Li. They all realized that the driver, Sun Wei, was a fake murderer. Tong Tao believed that Lin Tai was a heinous swindler and firmly believed that the real murderer was Lin Tai. Tong Tao received a video of fake evidence. Under his pressure, Lin Tai admitted that he was the murderer and Lin Mengmeng was released from prison. Zhou Li stood on the legal side to find the truth for the defender, uncover the truth of the video, and find evidence that Sun Wei was not the real murderer. However, things were not that simple. As the investigation deepened, the story kept turning. The driver, Sun Wei, was willing to commit perjury because he saw Lin Mengmeng as his own daughter. Zhou Li realized that the surveillance video that showed Lin Mengmeng hitting someone with her car was fake. The real person who hit someone with her car was Lin Tai. However, this was not the final truth. What Lin Tai revealed at the end of the film was the true truth. There were some bugs in the movie's logic. For example, the defendant's lawyer, Zhou Li, had violated the judicial system by giving evidence to the prosecutor, and the plot of " taking the blame for others " had been criticized by some viewers for destroying their worldviews. However, the movie was praised by many movie fans as one of the top ten domestic crime suspense films due to its compact story, mature narrative, and multiple reversals. It had a Douban score of 7.7 and won awards at several film festivals. Watching " All Suspects " wasn't enough. Everyone, please click to read the novel!

Luke and Matthew are the best because they directly tell the story of Jesus' birth. Luke gives the story from Mary's perspective in many ways, like the visit from Gabriel and her journey. Matthew focuses on the Magi and the family's flight to Egypt. They have the details that we associate with Christmas.
