Fade To Me: What Remains

Fade To Me: What Remains

For as long as he can remember, Aurion has lived in silence—bound by expectations, haunted by betrayal, and convinced that solitude is safer than trust. Brilliant in every pursuit yet emotionally distant, he drifts through life believing that some wounds are simply meant to be carried alone. Everything changes when an unlikely group of classmates breaks through the walls he spent years building. Their relentless chaos, unwavering loyalty, and unconditional acceptance become the first place Aurion has ever been able to call home. Together, they create memories that transform ordinary days into something unforgettable, proving that family is not always defined by blood, but by the people who choose to stand beside you. But time is relentless. As graduation draws near and the future calls each of them in different directions, they are forced to confront the one truth none of them can escape—that even the most precious moments are fleeting. A poignant coming-of-age novel woven with friendship, healing, laughter, heartbreak, and hope, Fade To Me: What Remains is a story about the people who find us when we are lost, the memories that outlive time, and the quiet pieces of ourselves that remain long after everything else begins to fade. Some endings do not erase what came before. They become the reason we remember. When everything and everyone eventually fades away, what remains is the person they helped me become.” --------- In the story, Aurion found people who stayed. In reality, he stayed alone.

Project Fade

Project Fade

Project Fade is about Ark, an ex-soldier with a past obscured in mystery. Though, to the people who knew, that mystery is linked to atrocities committed under his last employer's orders. The world would have condemned him, but his actions were hidden except for a certain group. The group approached him and his friends, Maras and Hobo, and offered a deal in exchange for working with them... but will they accept? To tell you guys a bit about myself: My name is Ark Reylla Kyrie and I'm an aspiring writer who hopes they can make their hobby into a career. Writing, which is my current favorite hobby, wasn't an activity I thought I'd be doing for fun back when I was a kid. I dreaded writing, as school forced me to do it. Yeah, doing essays and papers didn't really make me a fan. Though, that all changed when I began writing Project Fade. I wrote for hours and hours with the freedom to write as I please. What is Project Fade? Project Fade is my first book that I've worked on from 2016 to 2022. I initially came up with the concept of it back in 2014 when I was in my sophomore year of high school, but only started writing it at the end of my senior year in 2016. I'm mainly writing this for young adults interested in the Science Fiction Fantasy genre. I wrote this book in the style of a light novel, so it's different from a traditional novel. For example, light novels have a lot more dialogue, which all my chapters have. They also have manga/anime-inspired illustrations too. I plan to work with an artist to choose which sections should be drawn, but I'd like to have the book made a little popular first. Things to note: If you see anything in italics, it's either of these three things: 1. It's a character's thought. 2.It's a dream sequence 3.It's a flashback I'm still an amateur in comparison to others, but I hope you enjoy my first story. 2 chapter releases daily

And now, Deng Yuyuan has become that villain's cowardly mother — and the villain herself is currently just an ugly, wrinkly-faced infant. The blindly filial father loves his wife, but gives all the good things to his own mother. He says to his starving wife and daughter: "Xiao Yuan, come drink some water. Life is eventful, she gets a salary every month, and the boss is never home. Absolutely perfect. Except... wasn't this big shot supposed to be infertile? Then why does he keep strutting around naked in front of her? She has professional ethics. She won't be seduced by a good body. Hmph. Men only slow down her sword swing. Lu Feng grits his teeth at Fu Xiaoxiao, who remains completely unmoved by his countless attempts to seduce her, and traps her in his arms. "Boss, let's talk this through. I know forty a month is a bit much — how about... five less?" Trapped in his embrace, Fu Xiaoxiao thinks he's unhappy with her high salary and starts bargaining. "I'm giving myself to you for free." Lu Feng grinds out through clenched teeth. This woman has no heart. "...Can I say no?" Fu Xiaoxiao swallows, staring at the washboard abs so close. "Such a good deal — are you sure you don't want it?" Lu Feng squints, tempting her. "Fine." A fool turns down a bargain.

Vanity and dreams fade away
'Vanity in a dream' meant that the glory and wealth that had once been illusory had disappeared like a dream. It was like a person who once had a dream, but in the process of life, some of their dreams were realized, and some were gradually lost. Because people had different experiences, not all dreams could come true. In the process of chasing dreams, most dreams would slowly fade away with the flow of time, leaving only memories. It could also be understood as the past fame and fortune were like fleeting clouds. The prosperity was no longer there, and everything was in the past.
