Electronic viewfinders were important for camera framing. From an imaging point of view, it was not the most important, but it had its unique value in framing. First of all, in terms of determining exposure, photos taken with electronic screens in bright light environments (such as under the sun or in places with strong environmental light) often had inaccurate exposure, while electronic viewfinders would not be affected by light reflection. They could accurately determine exposure during framing, so they had a basic expectation of the effect of the film. Secondly, in terms of power saving, the electronic viewfinder could save a lot of power compared to the screen viewfinder, which was very useful when shooting outside. Moreover, from the psychological point of view, using an electronic viewfinder to shoot could eliminate external interference, allowing the photographer to focus more on the scene and look more professional. In addition, the electronic viewfinder also had some other advantages. For example, the shooting settings could be reflected on the framing image, making it easy to grasp the effect of the film; The dim scene also had a bright framing image, making it easy to compose and focus; It could use convenient auxiliary functions such as facial and eye recognition autofocus and manual focus peak; It could more intuitively preview the depth of field and exposure effect, which was very helpful to determine whether the parameters were correct and whether the final image was desired. However, the electronic viewfinder also had some disadvantages. It needed to be connected to the power supply at all times, and it would be more troublesome if it was shot outside for a long time. Its display quality was different from the viewfinder of a real single-lens reflex camera. The image color was not as bright and delicate as the captured image due to its low resolution. Similar to the LCD display, it was easy to reflect light, which affected the accuracy of framing. Compared with the optical system, it was relatively rough and could not display the smallest details in the captured frame, such as whether the human eye was open. <a href="/?from=ask_words" style="color:red" target="_blank">Read more exciting novels for free</a>

For some Nikon cameras, you can enter the camera menu, find the "grid display" option under "capture/display" or "display" and "view" options, and select "on" to activate the viewfinder grid function. For example, the Nikon D850 could find the "grid display" option under the "shooting/display" option to turn on the nine-square grid composition function. After turning it on, the camera's viewfinder or screen would appear nine-square grid lines, which could help with composition during shooting and also help maintain the level of the picture. Different models of Nikon cameras might have different menu settings, but the basic principle was to enable the viewfinder grid function to assist in shooting through the relevant settings in the menu. <a href="/?from=ask_words" style="color:red" target="_blank">Read more exciting novels for free</a>
