The Law of UNINTENDED MAGIC
The System arrived, and everyone got cool fantasy classes. Swordsmen, Necromancers, Elven Archers you name it.
Then there’s Leo.
Due to a catastrophic database error during the world merge, Leo’s "Class" didn't load from the fantasy catalog. Instead, the System pulled his real world data and slapped him with a unique, glitched profession:
[Lead Systems Engineer].
While everyone else gets to cast "Fireball" by pressing a glowing button on their UI, Leo has to look at the actual source code of the magic. He quickly realizes the game’s magic system is a poorly coded, unoptimized mess. Every time a high-level Mage casts a spell, it creates "Data Leaks" and "Memory Bleeds" in the local environment causing the physical world to glitch out, freeze, or literally delete chunks of terrain.
To make things worse, Leo has 0 Mana. He can’t use standard skills. If he wants to survive the dungeons and the wild monsters, he has to manually "debug" the magic around him. He builds physical hardware out of scrap metal, copper wiring, and monster cores, using his glitched interface to write custom scripts that hijack other people's spells.
His life gets infinitely more complicated when he crosses paths with Lyra, a high ranking, hot tempered [Flame Sovereign] whose character sheet is completely ruined by a massive "Mana Overload" debuff. She’s a glass cannon who literally catches fire and loses HP every time she uses a skill.
To survive the high tier zones, they have to party up. She provides the raw, chaotic DPS; he sits in the back frantically writing patches, building cooling rigs for her armor, and overclocking her skills while trying not to get them both killed.
The System Rules (How the Game Actually Works)
• The Glitch Log: Leo’s UI doesn't show him a clean status bar. It looks like a messy command-line terminal. He can see the raw variables of incoming enemy attacks (e.g., Projectile Fireball 01: Velocity = 45m/s, Temperature = 800C).
• The Crafting Loop: Since he can't buy gear from the standard System Shop, he has to hunt specific monsters for their "glitched" drops corrupted code blocks, unstable energy cores, and rare metals to physically build his own gear.
• The Party Synergy: To share experience points and level up, Leo and Lyra have to maintain a high "Party Cohesion" rating. But because their classes are fundamentally incompatible, the System constantly throws weird, buggy "Relationship Quests" at them that force them to cooperate in the most annoying, intimate, and high stakes ways.
