One common theme is sacrifice. In many stories, lovers are willing to sacrifice their own interests for the sake of their beloved. For example, in 'Romeo and Juliet', they are willing to risk their lives for their love.

Overcoming obstacles is a big theme too. There could be parental disapproval, academic pressure, or competition from other students. High school love stories often show how the couple tries to overcome these difficulties to be together. For instance, they might study hard to prove to their parents that love doesn't mean neglecting studies, or they might face up to a rival who also has feelings for one of them.

One great cerpen english love story is 'Wuthering Heights'. It shows the intense and complex love between Heathcliff and Catherine. Their love is full of passion, jealousy and revenge. Sure. 'The Fault in Our Stars' is a great one. It tells a beautiful and poignant love story between two teenagers who meet in a cancer support group. Another one could be 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before', which is about a girl whose secret love letters get sent out accidentally, leading to all kinds of high - school - related romantic drama.

The Analects of Confucius was a collection of sayings that recorded the words and deeds of Confucius, a great ideologist and teacher in the Spring and Autumn Period, and his disciples. Confucius lived in the State of Lu, during the Spring and Autumn Period of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. When Confucius was in his thirties, he was already famous. He was good at education and claimed to have 3000 disciples, 72 of whom were sages. These sages were proficient in the six classics compiled by Confucius, namely,"Poetry,""Book,""Ceremony,""Music,""Spring," and "Autumn." The author of The Analects of Confucius was not Confucius, so there was a controversy about the origin of the title. Some people believed that the name was only given in the Eastern Han Dynasty, while more people supported the name of the book when it was written. The book recorded many classic sayings, such as "The passing of time is like this","Three hundred poems can be summarized in one word, saying that thinking is innocent","Revisiting the old and learning new things can be a teacher", etc. The spread of the Analects of Confucius had been bumpy. After Qin Shihuang unified China, he burned books and buried Confucianism. This was a blow to Confucianism, including the Analects of Confucius. It was not until the Western Han Dynasty that the King of Lu expanded his land and built a palace to surround Confucius 'residence. During the construction, workers found a single copy of the Analects of Confucius. The descendants of Confucius continued to copy it, allowing the book to be passed down to this day. In addition, some of the sentences in the book were related to the stories of Confucius and his disciples. For example, there were many stories between Zi Gong and Confucius. There was a story about Zi Gong arguing with someone about how many seasons there were in a year. Zi Gong believed that there were four seasons in a year, while the visitor believed that there were three seasons. Confucius observed the visitor and said that there were three seasons in a year. Zi Gong was puzzled. Confucius explained that the visitor was like a grasshopper in the field. He was born in spring and died in autumn. He only experienced three seasons. There was no winter in his knowledge, so there was no need to argue with him. This reflected the shallow point of view of the people of the three seasons. There was also a dialogue between Zi Gong and Confucius about "being poor without flattery, and being rich without arrogance". Zi Gong first raised his own point of view, and Confucius pointed out that he was too concerned about the gap between the rich and the poor and that he should pay more attention to his own heart. Read more exciting novels for free
