suitcases and silence

The Blood Immortal was once the most feared being in history—a cultivator who ruled through slaughter, whose power grew with every life taken. With absolute control over blood, he could shape it into weapons, armor, beasts, and even living constructs. Nations trembled. Immortals bowed. Until betrayal ended him. Murdered by his most trusted disciple at the peak of his reign, the Blood Immortal vanished from history. A thousand years later, he awakens reborn into the body of a weak child from an ordinary family—in a world utterly unfamiliar to him. Mana has replaced spiritual qi. Aura wielders dominate the battlefield. Monsters roam freely. Ten supreme families control civilization. And a Demon King stirs in the shadows. Everything he once knew is gone. Everyone he once loved… dead. But blood still flows. As his memories return, so does his obsession with power—now tempered by loss, caution, and a growing understanding that reckless slaughter will only invite annihilation in this new era. Enrolling in an academy for the awakened, he hides his true nature while secretly refining a path of blood cultivation unseen by mana or aura users. To the world, he is a talented prodigy. To the great families, he is a dangerous anomaly. To the Demon King, he is a future rival. And to himself? A monster deciding whether he will once again become a tyrant… or something far more terrifying.

Two people circle each other in the quiet spaces between duty and desire—drawn together not by certainty, but by recognition. Their connection is built on pauses, on breaths held a second too long, on the way comfort slowly starts to feel dangerous. Intimacy arrives not as touch alone, but as understanding: being seen, being chosen in small, fragile moments. Yet timing is cruel. What grows between them is tender and inevitable, but never fully safe. Every closeness carries the weight of what cannot last, and every goodbye feels unfinished. Love here is not loud—it lingers, aches, and teaches them how deeply a heart can bend without breaking. It is a story of warmth found briefly, of restraint mistaken for strength, and of heartbreak that doesn’t shatter—only settles quietly, like a bruise you learn to live with.

The Weave of Silence In the Layered Abyss, truth is a lethal infection. The multiverse is not a collection of worlds, but a decaying shroud of parallel shards drifting in The Silence—a cosmic rot that transforms memories into monsters and hope into madness. In this dying reality, power is not earned; it is stolen. To gain a Concept is to kill a god; to seek the truth is to lose your mind. Daxian does not want to save the world. He has already surgically removed his own empathy to ensure he survives the coming collapse. Along with Silas, a phantom who treads between dimensions, and Vane, a mad dog who thrives on the kinetic agony of battle, Daxian begins an ascent through the shards that will leave reality scarred. They are not heroes. They are not villains. They are the entropy that the universe feared. In a world where God is just another word for sin, the only way to end the suffering is to unweave existence itself. "The stars do not blink because they are watching. They are blinking because they are hungry."

Fu Xiaoxiao transmigrates into a book and immediately faces the crisis of being sent to the countryside. As the unloved middle child, her younger sister is the one meant to go — but her mother transfers her job to the sister instead. A disaster of a start. To avoid being sent away, she has to marry within seven days. She meets a few ordinary men and decides she'd rather go to the countryside. Then she runs into a neighbor who's also looking for a spouse — and his conditions are surprisingly good. A dowry of three hundred? Bicycles and a radio? Just take care of the kids, and separate rooms are fine? The others may pass, but she won't. Every day is a battle of wits with the two kids. Life is eventful, she gets a salary every month, and the boss is never home. Absolutely perfect. Except... wasn't this big shot supposed to be infertile? Then why does he keep strutting around naked in front of her? She has professional ethics. She won't be seduced by a good body. Hmph. Men only slow down her sword swing. Lu Feng grits his teeth at Fu Xiaoxiao, who remains completely unmoved by his countless attempts to seduce her, and traps her in his arms. "Boss, let's talk this through. I know forty a month is a bit much — how about... five less?" Trapped in his embrace, Fu Xiaoxiao thinks he's unhappy with her high salary and starts bargaining. "I'm giving myself to you for free." Lu Feng grinds out through clenched teeth. This woman has no heart. "...Can I say no?" Fu Xiaoxiao swallows, staring at the washboard abs so close. "Such a good deal — are you sure you don't want it?" Lu Feng squints, tempting her. "Fine." A fool turns down a bargain.
