In a world where skill matters more than power, that ability makes him dangerous. Very dangerous. The Lie Ryan is just a normal 19-year-old. Orphan. Recently graduated. For years, he was trained every day by an uncle who refused to explain why. He was told it was only for self-defense. That was a lie. The Breach On Virexia, humanity survives behind massive, electrified barriers designed to keep the monsters out and the truth buried. But on a night that should have been ordinary, the impossible happens: A beast breaks into the city. It finds Ryan in the dark, its glowing red eyes locked onto him. It’s breathing like it’s in pain. And for one heartbeat—it hesitates. It doesn't attack. The Conspiracy In the wake of the breach, Ryan’s world shatters. He is caught between forces far beyond his understanding: Hunters who kill monsters for profit. Secret groups running illegal experiments. The Colonial Defence Force, who already know more than they should. A powerful corporation hiding something deep beneath the city. The Cost of Power On Virexia, power is bought. There are drugs that slow time, serums that push the human body beyond its limits, and a mysterious plant—Cospirulina—that might be the key to everything. But as Ryan realizes the true depth of his own talent, he discovers that being the ultimate prodigy doesn't just make you a hero—it makes you a target.

To survive, Cade must "vent" that power back into the world, acting as a brutal, "dark-good" vigilante who protects the forgotten while struggling to keep his own humanity from detonating.
