Choosing a tripod that suits you can be considered from the following aspects: ** 1. Material ** 1. ** plastic **: - [Characteristics: It is relatively light and cheap, but it is not strong enough and has poor load bearing capacity.] It was generally suitable for mobile phone tripods, but it was not suitable for heavier equipment such as cameras. 2. Iron: - [Characteristics: Heavy, durable, strong load bearing capacity, and relatively cheap.] Large devices are often used, but because of their weight, they may not be convenient for users who need to be portable. 3. ** Alloy **: - [Special traits: Lighter than iron, equally durable and able to bear weight, but slightly more expensive than iron.] It was a material with a high cost-performance ratio and was suitable for supporting most photography equipment. 4. ** carbon fiber **: - [Special features: Light weight. Although the price is higher than that of aluminum alloy, it is not a problem for ordinary cameras and lenses to bear the weight.] If the weight requirement of the tripod was high and the budget allowed, carbon fiber could be considered. ** 2. Weight ** - After the material of the tripod was determined, the weight selection depended on the stability required and its own weight-bearing capacity. For example, if you often need to bring a tripod out to shoot, you may need to choose a lighter tripod, such as a tripod that weighs less than 3 pounds. ** 3. In terms of height ** - The higher the height, the better. However, a height of 1.2 to 1.6 meters was usually enough for 80 to 90 percent of the use. Under the premise of considering the weight, try to choose a tripod with a higher height. ** 4. Details of the design ** 1. ** Locking design **: - For example, the locking method of a wrench, a round knob, an internal rotation lock, and the like. The wrench may touch the uneven ground when the lowest leg tube is not unfolded, and there is a risk of loosening the lock. When the inner rotation lock is fully extended or the height adjustment is not fully extended, there may be a situation where a leg tube is not completely locked. In contrast, the round knob locking might be more reliable. 2. ** Central axis design **: - If there is a certain requirement for the height of the tripod, within the weight limit, you can choose a tripod with a central axis, so that you can get a higher height under a certain weight. 3. ** Reverse folding design **: - The reverse folding design could shorten the storage length, but the storage width would increase. If you need to put the tripod into an ordinary backpack, you need to consider whether you need to reverse fold the design according to your own needs. 4. ** Leg opening angle **: - It is not recommended to buy a tripod with a leg opening angle of less than 21.5 degrees, because strong winds may blow the camera or shift the tripod. 5. ** Number of Leg Tubes **: - It was reasonable to have four to five joints at most, but too many joints would greatly reduce the stability. 6. ** Storage length **: - The storage length was enough to fit into the travel suitcase. There was no need to prepare a special bag for the tripod (unless the storage requirements were not high for self-driving trips). Read more exciting novels for free
