The letters of the German soldiers in World War II
From some books on World War II, it was known that the letters of the German soldiers showed many situations in the Soviet-German war. For example, in Barbarossa: The Inside Story of the German Invasion of the Soviet Union, the author collected first-hand materials such as letters from hundreds of grass-roots German officers and soldiers. These letters showed the poverty of the people of the Soviet Union before World War II in the eyes of the grassroots officers and soldiers of the German army.
A German soldier mentioned in the letter that there were no fruit trees along the way to Moscow. There were only potatoes, cabbages, cucumbers, and onions. It was hard to imagine that the Soviets relied on these for winter. There were also German veterans who said that some of the food collected from the Soviet Union was considered food by the Soviets, but the Germans thought it could only be used as animal feed. The German soldiers also mentioned that it was difficult to find real cigarettes in the Soviet Union. The Soviets generally smoked "Mahe cigarettes" made from tobacco roots.
In addition, the letters from the German soldiers also reflected the hygiene situation in the Soviet Union. For example, Soviet women looked dirty and had not bathed for many days. Soviet farmers, regardless of gender, dressed similarly and were shabby. Many rural families lived with pigs and had no beds. They used wooden spoons to scoop food from pots. The overall hygiene of cities and villages was worrying. There were few shower facilities. This also explained why the German army rarely insulted Soviet women in the early days of the war. These letters provided new insights into the situation of the German army during World War II.

The touching story of the German soldiers in World War II
I recommend 'Douluo: The Peerless Royalty and Rich', by the author's Worn-out Sword Heart. Wang Quan Gui Gui had transmigrated into Huo Yuhao, wanting to coexist as a human and a spirit beast to ask Tang San about the sword, super interesting. Even if you don't know about royalty and wealth, you can still read it. There's also the book friend group 494960702.
'Instructor of Ten Thousand Worlds: From the Military Training of Lu Mingfei' was not bad either. The author was Red Dust Banished Immortal Li. The Star Cluster was the instructor, Lu Mingfei was the disciple, the instructor was extremely strict, and he refused to be incompetent and weak.
[Otherworld Lord: Farming, Industry, and Magic]. The author likes cats on rainy days. Li Ang had traveled through the Otherworld and relied on his online knowledge to develop in the Otherworld. He also had a bunch of interesting supporting characters and a book friend group of 811097579.
Heroes in 1944, Jade Blood's work. Ji Tianping brought the game system through the European battlefield of World War II. The old book's writing style and battle description were not bad, but the food was good.
'My Senior Sister Might Want to Kill Me'. It was raining heavily. Zheng Yue killed his avatar for the sake of becoming an ordinary cultivator. Senior Sister seemed to want to kill him, but in fact, there was a misunderstanding. It was a light and funny love story.

The author even apologized to the readers for forgetting to pass on a volume.
" Overlord of the Other World: Farming, Industry, and Magic ", a fantasy novel written by The Cat That Likes Rainy Days. Li Ang, an ordinary college student, wished to find a job but transmigrated to another world. Magic was the rule here. Last Words of German Soldiers in World War II
The last words of the German soldiers in World War II could be described in many ways:
- When the 16-year-old German little Hans became a prisoner of war, he was asked how he wanted to die. He cried and said,"Please save me." Later, the American army gave him a piece of bread, and he sobbed silently in the corner of the ruins.
- "I will never believe in the nonsense of Hitlers again…" Minne muttered in despair before he died. After he was injured in a street battle and abandoned by his superior, he regretted not confessing to Milia at the last moment of his life. He gave his bandages and dry rations to his good friend Dirk, and wrote a letter to Milia to express his love. After that, he was shot dead by Su Bing.
- Joachim van Ribbentrop's last words were "May God bless Germany." May God have mercy on my soul. Finally, I hope that Germany can be reunified, and for the sake of peace, an understanding can be reached between the East and the West. I wish for world peace."
- Lieutenant Kunkel was the last German intelligence officer to retreat when the Allied forces approached Cuxhavn in northern Germany. He was asked at 12:23 on May 6, 1945,"Have the British soldiers arrived?" The answer had not been given yet, and the next day's conversation time had been arranged. However, the British army attacked Cocus Harbor less than two hours later. This was the relevant situation, but the content of his final words was not specified.
- There were also German soldiers in the execution squad who put down their guns and shouted,"I won't shoot! These people are innocent!" This could also be seen as a special expression (although it was not certain if it was a dying wish, it reflected a change in attitude).
In addition, there was a German soldier's recollection of the war from the perspective of ordinary soldiers. It did not mention the last words, but described the cruelty of the war, reflecting the helplessness and coercion of ordinary soldiers to the war.
