The name of weights and measures was first found in Shangshu·Yu Shu·Shun Dian. Through the study of ancient characters, it was found that the Chinese ancestors originally called "weights and measures" as "Liang Liang", and the pronunciation of the three was liang. Among them,"degree" represented the length of an object, which had already appeared in the oracle bone inscriptions. It was the model of "holding a ruler (measuring distance)". Humans first used the "body" to measure length, such as "steps" and other length units. The measurement of weight was called "Heng". In the ancient system of weights, there were units such as baht, liang, jin, jun, stone, etc. The first one baht was a medium-sized black millet grain. Ten grains were a burden, ten burdens were one baht, twenty-four baht was one liang, and sixteen liang was one jin (the situation in the Pre-Qin period). The system of weights and measures had a long history. The origin and standard records were not the same. Legend has it that the Yellow Emperor established five quantities: degree, quantity, balance, li, and mu; Shun once summoned the rulers of the four directions to coordinate the years, seasons, music, and weights and measures of each tribe; Xia Yu used his own length and weight as the length and weight standards when he controlled the water. These legends reflected the embryonic state of ancient weights and measures to a certain extent. There were inscriptions on bronze ware of the Western Zhou Dynasty, which were written with words such as "ten gold coins","three silk coins" and "ten gold coins"(gold is copper, and "coins" and "coins" are the names of measurement units), indicating that there were means of measuring weight before or at the same time as the appearance of metal currency. Before Qin Shihuang unified the six kingdoms, the measurement systems of each vassal state were very different. This hindered economic exchanges and also affected the spread and integration of culture. After Qin Shihuang unified the six countries, he passed laws to clearly define the standards of weights and measures and the methods of making instruments. He also asked the whole country to strictly implement them. He also arranged officials to supervise the use and verification of weights and measures, including the production and distribution of instruments, verification and verification of weights and measures in various places. This measure eliminated the differences in weights and measures in various places, made economic exchanges and cultural communication smoother, strengthened the concentration of power, and laid the foundation for the prosperity and development of the Qin Dynasty. It was also of great significance to the development and improvement of the ancient Chinese weights and measures system. In the Han Dynasty, there were corresponding methods of measurement conversion. For example, 1 liter in Han Dynasty was now 200ml (applicable to Beijing Pinellas, Opspicata, etc.), and 1 liter in Han Dynasty was about 61g (Opspicata), 49g (hemp seed), 40g (schisandrin), 31g (evodia rutaecarpa), etc. In Han Dynasty, 12 pieces were now 36g (jujube), 20g (gardenia), 50 pieces were now 25g (almond), etc. While waiting for the TV series, he could also read the exciting content related to this site!
