underrated cartoon characters

Often, it's because their personalities or designs don't fit the mainstream expectations. Or maybe the shows they're in don't get much publicity, so they don't get the attention they deserve.

Maybe it's because they don't get enough screen time or their stories aren't developed well.

The 'Baby Blues' cartoon is underrated possibly due to its release timing or competition from other more popular cartoons. Also, its humor might be a bit niche and not for everyone.

Could be that the gaming industry focuses more on male gamers, so female gamers' talents are overlooked. Also, stereotypes might play a role in undervaluing their abilities.

Maybe it's because not enough people have discovered its charm. The humor and storylines are great but haven't gotten the attention they deserve.

I think 'Oswald' is one. It has charming characters and heartwarming stories, but not many people know about it.

I think 'Over the Garden Wall' is underrated. It has a unique story and beautiful animation but doesn't get as much attention as it deserves.

Mezo Shoji is another one. His multiple - armed quirk could be used in so many creative ways in fanfiction, but he's not often the main character. There could be stories where he uses his arms not just for combat, but also for things like creating elaborate structures or helping in rescue operations in a unique way that other characters can't.

Lala is often an underrated character in Black Lightning fanfiction. He has a complex backstory as a gang member turned metahuman. There's a lot of potential to explore his redemption arc or his struggle between his old life and his new powers. Another could be Inspector Henderson. He's often in the background but could be developed more. He could have his own investigations that cross paths with Black Lightning in interesting ways.
