Pram adalah seorang penulis novel yang sedang mengalami 'kebuntuan' dalam karya terbarunya. Liburan tidak membantu. Maka atas saran Editor-nya Jaka, dia mencari inspirasi dengan cara yang tidak biasa. Bekerja sebagai penjaga toko. Shift malam (Night Shift) yang awalnya tak disukainya, lama kelamaan merubah seorang Pram yang awalnya agak 'anti-sosial' menjadi lebih bisa berempati. Selama hidup, Pram sudah berpacaran tiga kali, tapi belum pernah sekali pun benar-benar jatuh cinta.
