Excerpt: "Introducing contestant number 1, Riya, one like no other, The only Qyshol you would never see and live to tell the tale...for now. Delhi was supposed to be just another noisy, endless day. The skies cracked, time shattered, and the metro turned into a killing ground. Thrust 150 years into a broken future, Shivam and his friends find themselves in a dead city where machines hunt the living, the streets are ruled by silence, and hope is just another lie buried under the dust. Homes are gone. Families are shadows. The world they knew is nothing but ruins and ash. Together, they must navigate a future that feels more like a nightmare, where every step forward could be their last. When survival is the only rule left, how much of yourself do you lose just trying to stay alive?

Suzy Su is forty years old, single, and has spent the last twelve years in the same Silver Lake apartment, building a life that looks stable from the outside. She's an immigration attorney at a small firm — good at her job, respected by her colleagues, and invisible to everyone who matters. She has a mother in Pasadena who knows she's gay but never talks about it. She has a set of rituals — coffee, work, a run she never enjoys, a plant she keeps forgetting to water — that she calls a life. She is not prepared for what comes next. Routine bloodwork reveals she is HIV-positive. The viral load and CD4 count suggest she's been infected for three to seven years. In that window, she's had four sexual contacts: Shelly, the older woman who taught her how to be a lesbian in a world that didn't want her; Claire, the high-powered corporate attorney who mirrored Suzy's own ambition so perfectly they became each other's walls; Kevin, her oldest friend, the only man she's ever trusted, and one night she's never talked about; and Kate, the auto mechanic who showed her that happiness could be easy — and then left her because she couldn't figure out how to be happy back. The novel follows Suzy over the course of one month as she contacts each of them, telling them they may have been exposed. But the investigation into the virus becomes an investigation into her own life. She realizes she's been building a case not against a person, but against a way of living — a life built on avoidance, on never wanting anything too much, on keeping people at a distance where they can't hurt her. Each former partner forces her to confront a version of herself she's tried to outrun: with Shelly, she's the frightened twenty-three-year-old who didn't know how to be loved; with Claire, she's the thirty-year-old who was too proud to be vulnerable; with Kevin, she's the woman who uses intimacy as anesthesia; and with Kate, she's the person who let the best thing in her life walk away because she didn't believe she deserved to keep it. The suspense structure follows a classic Agatha Christie trajectory: the suspects are introduced, red herrings are planted, and the reader — along with Suzy — is led toward a conclusion that seems inevitable in retrospect. But the novel subverts the whodunit form. There is no villain. The person who gave Suzy the virus did not know they had it. And the question Suzy has to answer is not "who?" but "what now?" TRACE BACK is a literary suspense novel set in contemporary Los Angeles — a city of highways and hidden lives, where people reinvent themselves for a living and the past is always just a few exits away. It explores the gap between the stories we tell ourselves and the truths we refuse to see, the particular loneliness of the Asian-American experience in queer spaces, and the strange, quiet grace of learning to live with something you can't undo. Told in present tense with a propulsive, emotionally precise voice, the novel moves between Suzy's present-day investigation and extended flashbacks that form complete narrative arcs. Each relationship is a novella folded inside the larger story, and each one redefines what the reader — and Suzy — thinks they know about love, trust, and the difference between being hurt and being harmed. At its heart, this is not a story about a virus. It's a story about a woman who has spent forty years building walls, and who finally — through an accident of biology and a series of difficult phone calls — learns to let them down.

My very first book, I really hope this gets at least some attention. I worked hard on this project, and I want advice on what to do.

In a world ruled by blood and ancient power, silence is the deadliest weapon. The birth of the four Daemonhart brothers was marked by a crimson moon and a sky that bled. Three cried out to claim their place in the world: Cedric the Peacekeeper, Kendrick the Wild Star, and Frederick the Clever Shadow. But the fourth child, Draco, was born into a silence that chilled the souls of even the most powerful demons. Named by a father who loves him and shunned by a mother who fears him, Draco is the enigma of the legendary Daemonhart family. He does not speak, but he hears everything—every greedy thought, every hidden lie, and every secret plot within the halls of Vorell Manor. While the world sees a "broken" boy, they fail to see the iron fortress of his mind. Not even Hector Daemonhart, the most powerful telepath in the realms, can breach Draco’s mental walls. As the family empire faces sabotage from rivals and his father embarks on a perilous journey, Draco must learn to tame the chaos within his soul. They think he is silent because he has nothing to say. They are wrong. When the Daemonhart legacy begins to crumble, the world will finally hear him. Xuxxy_chronicles

The book races is centered majorly on racism. Four nations clashed due to differences in their physical attributes. The story is centered around two main characters (Afua and Luke) who are the destined ones to change the scope of the world or determine the fate of the world. The story protrays their growth and development into the character they are meant to be. Like, a black boy is sent into the world that hated the blacks because of the evils the black world had done. Afua on the other hand has been thrown into the world to face the tyranny and wickedness of the black world. The story talks about how their experiences will determine the decision both characters make.

BLACK TRACE In modern Italy, power does not rely on open violence. It moves through institutions, intermediaries, and systems designed to protect themselves from accountability. Ethan Cole survives by understanding that structure. He does not seek justice or redemption. He studies how influence flows, where pressure fractures, and what it costs to remain unseen. With no superhuman strength or moral certainty, he relies on restraint, calculated aggression, and violence that is fast, deliberate, and permanent. As criminal networks adapt and institutional forces recalibrate, Ethan is pushed into increasingly visible spaces where anonymity disappears and consequences compound. Survival is no longer about hiding—it is about choosing when, and how, to be seen. BLACK TRACE is a dark, realistic crime thriller about systems that erase responsibility, violence that leaves lasting scars, and a man who becomes dangerous not because he wants control, but because he refuses to disappear. In a world built to correct anomalies, Ethan becomes something the system cannot resolve. A trace it must carry.
