As the story develops you will find that ‘Slippery’ wishes to find redemption. He is very protective of those in the pub, especially his descendants. Of which there are many. Slippery Jake can switches moods very quickly. Anybody who is a threat is summarily dealt with Slippery’s trusted rapier sword he still possesses.

What happen when you give someone a universal soul? Good question. Anyway, I'll sum up the beginning of the book like other authors. Jake was a normal man. Be worked in an office, like a normal person. He also happened to be a complete nerd. But during his best friends birthday party, he gets beamed by a pillar of light? How odd... A bit later, he wakes up laying on a tree, some stuff to his side. He looks through the stuff, and finds a small bottle. It says to drink it. Our main character isn't an idiot though- Or so one might think. Anyways, if you want to know more, maybe read the book? Don't read this unless you have an exceptionally good reason beyond enjoyment. This isn't what I'd call "skilled" or "coherent" work, just a product of my angry teenage mind. You were warned.
