There were many reasons why students played with their phones during university classes. ** 1. Student's own factors ** 1. ** Learning attitude ** - Many college students thought that after going through the tough third year of high school, entering university meant reaching the end of their studies and that it was time to relax themselves. They did not realize the importance of university studies. He also lacked interest in motivating factors such as scholarship awards and evaluation. He lacked the motivation to continue learning. It was even difficult to attend classes on time, let alone listen carefully. Playing with his phone in class became the norm. 2. ** In terms of quality differences ** - The expansion of university enrollment allowed some students with low grades to enter university. These students were not interested in learning and had a weak foundation in learning. Their goal in university might be to get a diploma, so it was easy for them to play with their phones in class and not listen to the class. However, Peking University, Tsinghua University, and many other 985 universities had relatively high quality students and a strong learning atmosphere. This phenomenon was relatively rare. ** 2. Teachers ** 1. ** Age gap and lack of freshness ** - University teachers had at least a PhD and were usually older. The age gap made it easy for students to get bored. In the absence of novelty, it was difficult for students to be interested in listening to classes, so they chose to play with their phones. 2. ** Teaching Method ** - Many university teachers used a one-word teaching method and lacked interaction with students. For example, some teachers only played PowerPoint and read the lesson from beginning to end. This boring teaching method was difficult to attract the students 'attention, causing the students to turn to playing with their phones to pass the time. ** 3. Course factors ** - Many courses in universities were seriously out of touch with society. The knowledge in the teaching materials was outdated. Even if students studied hard, it was difficult for them to obtain useful knowledge for their own development. This also led to students lacking the motivation to listen in class and playing with their phones. Read more exciting novels for free
